Essential Sparkles

I was honoured to be invited to this lovely event last year to take photographs of the weekend. Its one of the most relaxed dance events in the calendar and one of the 'must go to' weekends where you can dance, laugh, eat and have fun in a great space in a wonderfully remote location. All of your needs will be catered for and the weekend is filled with an array of workshops aimed at all levels. There are a couple of spaces left so why not treat yourself, grab a few dance mates and head off for a girly weekend of fun and laughter!

Typically a bank holiday equals gardening of some sort in our house. The weather today put that on hold for a day or so but there are some interesting tips here around the use of essential oils to help your plants grow! Nature helping nature!

Its hugely important to me that the people involved in sourcing and providing the natural ingredients to create pure essential oils, are well looked after. I love frankincense oil for its healing properties (physical, emotional and spiritual) but I really love the way that doTERRA has created a better life for the somalians who harvest the frankincense bark. This weekend has been about redecorating the bathroom. You may wonder what the heck this has to do with essential oils? Part of the cleaning process has been with the wonderful essence of clove oil. I've used it to help clean damp and mould. I simply added drops of clove oil into a water spray and used it around the bathroom. Not only does it help with the cleaning, the space smells wonderful in the process. #naturalliving #naturescleanser

These look delicious! Spearmint essential oil smells wonderful and tastes great! The added benefits of spearmint oil is that it can increase metabolism (which means you can eat more cookies!), help with dry skin, eczema, migraines and general wellbeing. Bonus right? Any of my cake making friends want a challenge? I can provide the ingredients if you can provide your baking expertise!

Ordered my second locket from Abi. This time for my daughter. The quality of this jewellery is excellent and the ability to create and see what your locket will look like on line before buying is just brilliant - in fact it has now become my go to stress reliever as it is actually very therapeutic. Nothing is too much trouble for Abi and the service is excellent. I am sure this will not be my last locket and I am certainly looking forward to ordering more of the lovely charms to alter the look.
