We visited yesterday with two 3 year olds. We had a lovely train ride (their first ever), they enjoyed spotting the presents and their little chocolate treats. Then we went to see the elves who were lovely and chatty and in to see Father Christmas. What a lovely kind man he was. My son was a little shy but managed a few high fives. His cousin made up for it as she was being very brave. Lovely place, highly recommend it and I'd like to go back in the summer to explore the grounds a bit more!

User

We really enjoyed your lovely trains. My son is in a wheelchair and when we attended a birthday party recently he was very much a part of the party. The staff were so friendly and really catered for his needs. They had a ramp so he could drive his power chair onto the train and even the fort at the other end was brilliant as he could crawl around up the top with his friends. Really lovely place.

User

We have been on the santa specials on Christmas Eve for two years now and wouldn’t do anything else! We travel around an hour to get to Evesham but it really is worth it! The kids love it! Very festive and the homemade mince pies are amazing. My boys have had good quality crafts both years as gifts from Santa and he was just brilliant with them. No questions from the 6 year old if he was the real deal!! Last year I made them golden tickets their elves brought and the boys took them along. The staff played along and added to the magic! Can’t recommend enough!

User

We had a lovely visit to Santa today on the elr. Little ones loved the train ride. The staff were all very warm and friendly and made the experience really special. My 2 year old daughter is still quite unsure about Santa but he was very kind and attentive and she really enjoyed meeting him. Presents were great too. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

User

We came today with three children to see Father Christmas. We had a lovely time as in previous years. Children loved it, thank you so much to all the staff too who were so nice to us. A great start to our Christmas holidays. Have a very Merry Christmas all!

User

We booked the station cabin for the day for my son's 2nd birthday. The whole day was fantastic. Train ride, picnic in the cabin, cake & playing in the park for the afternoon. Perfect for my 2 year old & his friends. The whole family really enjoyed the day. All the staff on the day were so welcoming & any requests or questions the adults or children had, were no bother at all. Thank you for making our sons big day so special.

User

Took my 8 year old Godson on the Santa special ride yesterday and I have to say it was brilliant. He absolutely loved it, especially meeting Santa. He thoroughly enjoyed counting the presents on the train ride and Santa was great with him when we got off the train. He was so patient and didn't rush Harrison through at all. The present was great and the hot mince pie for the grown ups was a lovely surprise. Great value for money and well worth it. Well done!

User

The staff on the train and in the office were welcoming, interested in the children and fun. They obviously wanted the children to enjoy their experience and they did. The castle play area was the icing on the cake. Thank you all...

User

Really lovely train ride, kids liked spotting the presents along with the adults.

The elves where great and Santa was lovely very patient. Did not feel rushed either. Please do not use the post code in sat nav to find your way it takes you nowhere near and caused us to miss our train. The staff where lovely in directing us over the phone and getting us on the next train so Thank you for that

User

Our son had his 6th birthday party here today - really loved it. If the weather is good it's perfectly set up as the outdoor space is great for playing and the indoor space well set out for party food. He loved getting his own special headboard and waving the flag to set the train off.

User

Our first visit to the railway but recommended by friends and as we have a 5yr old train fan we booked online for a visit 22 Dec. We arrived and got our tickets in the ticket office and waited on the platform for the train to arrive. Our son loved watching the engine uncouple and change dire tion on the turntable to move to the front of the train. The engine pulled alongside us in the front carriage and our son chatted with the driver as he put more water in. We set off and counted the presents on route, stopping at the little halt to receive some chocolate and be lucky enough to be allowed a photo on the footplate. Back on board to return to the station, through the grotto where Mums and Dads received a lovely warm mince pie whilst waiting for Santa. Each family had an individual visit with Santa, who was lovely. He asked if we would all like a picture with him by the Xmas Tree and chatted happily to our 2 children, we didnt feel rushed out. 2 happy children with gifts, even a box of chocolates for our 13 yr old daughter who was reluctant to even come but admitted she had had a good time!!

User

My kids love coming here!

User

Lovely train ride with our 3 little cavalier dogs.....one of them only a baby and it was a trial run before taking him on a longer ride....lovely scenery the stop by the fort looked very exciting and dogs were desperate to go and play.....nice walks for doggies and us......all staff were really kind and helpful.....getting on and off with 2 dogs a puppy and a mum with mobility issues not easy but everyone was brilliant and really helpful....would certainly recommend to others.

User

Great little railway, wonderful staff. Between my dodgey knee and mother's sticks, thought we might not get on. But with a little help, no bother!!!

User

Following a fantastic trip on EVLR in the summer we booked onto the Santa Special. It was absolutely perfect for our train mad 2.5 year old and our 4 month old. The train journey through the country park is lovely as usual but made even more fun by having to spot all of Santa’s presents. Then whilst waiting to meet the main man the grown ups were treated to a delicious warm mince pie. When it was our turn to meet Santa he didn’t disappoint. There was no rush. He spoke for a length of time to my son, was very kind and engaging. There was plenty of time for photos and Santa’s helper even took some photos so we got a rare shot of the whole family! An absolutely fantastic visit to see Santa on a brilliant railway.

User

Fantastic experience. Staff were friendly, helpful and explained how it all works. My children 2yo and 4yo loved the train ride as well at the play fort. Shops are good too but little for kids to do in the shopping bit.

User

Came to The Valley shopping and this is a short walk up a slight hill, even though a bit grey outside we had fun with our kids on the train and the prices are reasonable, you can get off the train for half and hour at the small castle playground, even my 11 year old had fun on it but was a little big for the towers really. there are picnic tables, so on a nice day you could take a picnic and it's only a short walk back to the shops anyway so could always walk back from there too.

User

Disgusted with the attitude of the lady at the railway today - tutting and shaking your head at any paying customers is not good customer service (albeit if this was intended only for a colleague to see) but doing that around a 3yo who might need to go to the toilet before getting on a 20 minute train ride is unacceptable. You could see we were struggling with the pushchair, the baby and the toddler and I expect more from somewhere who's target audience is children. However, my little one enjoyed the train ride and looking for the missing presents. Santa was lovely - didn't make us feel rushed at all and the elves were very friendly.

User

Santa was a lovely man but didnt seem to know how to interact with my son (nearly 2) so he got bored because he didnt want to just sit and we were unable to get what should have been our first photo as a family of 4 with santa and my youngests (2 months old) first ever photo with santa. Im quite disappointed and wont be coming back again
