We came to Manor Farm for our Christmas day dinner. Firstly we was greeted by Simon & Adam upon arrival. Very friendly & pleasant, we arrived early and was told our table wasn't ready at the moment, but to get a drink from the bar and it wouldn't be long. Within 5-10 minutes we was shown to our table by Adam, who advised us that Michelle would be our waitress today and she'd be over shortly. Within only afew mins, Michelle came over and wished us all a Merry Christmas and made us feel very welcome. She ran through our orders to double check everything that we had pre orded was correct and took this into the kitchens to get our dinners sorted.

Within 10 minutes, our starters arrived at the table. These were delicious. One finishing our starters, Beth then came over introduced herself to us all and asked if everything was ok with starters. Plates cleared away, and we had 2 children's meals within our party. These main meals arrived at the table within 10-15 mins after we finished our starters, witch was enough time to let our starters go down. The adults then went up for our carverys, with only a little wait but this wasn't an issue as the staff was very apologetic when carving the meats.

Once mains was finished, we then had a short wait of 30 mins for our deserts. This again wasn't an issue, as it gave us all time for our mains to settle before indulging in deserts. These were lovely and we had no complaints during our visit. Staff was very pleasant and food was lovely too!

This was our second year of coming to Manor Farm on Christmas day and by far the best!!

Once again, Thankyou to Adam, Simon, Michelle, Beth & the rest of the staff at Manor Farm for making our visit enjoyable :)

User

User

Me and my partner come every Friday for a hunters chicken and it is beautiful staff are lovely. It’s become our regular place

User

Had Sunday lunch there yesterday for first time. Husband had the carvery I had salmon with hollandaise sauce (best I've ever tasted) along with potatoes & veg from the carvery. Loved it & i am a very fussy eater. Well be back.

User

Had 2 lovely meals friday and saturday, lamb shank and carvery which was the best i’ve had, excellent service

User

Great food and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Lorna would recommend this place hands down to anyone I know

User

Attended tonight for an anniversary dinner and it was fantastic.

The lasagne was the best I'd ever eaten. The chicken platter was massive and cooked to perfection. My partners smothered chicken was hot and succulent with a great bbq sauce.

Staff were very friendly and attentive especially Jennie .

Cannot fault.

Went a couple of Fridays ago with a friend for lunch and i was impressed with the choice I could have and since becoming muslim a carvery has been something I've really missed but i had a lovely mushroom pie with the rest of the carvery veg. Plenty vegetarian options, the most I have seen at any carvery. Had some great desserts on offer but couldn't have managed both. Definately will return.

User

Had a carvery which was lovely apart from the tiny portion of meat! I don’t eat a lot and it was a good job as the meat consisted of half a slice of beef and a slice of turkey! Veggies were lovely, staff friendly and a great selection of deserts!

User

Came for Sunday lunch yesterday, waited about 10 minutes for a table which was fine as they were busy. Had the standard carvery which was disappointing, I received 1.5 slices of turkey that were that thinly cut they were practically transparent and half a slice of beef, the vegetables were nice and hot but the meal was very let down by the amount of meat. I’ve had a few carveries at different restaurants in the past and always have received at least 2 good slices of each meat. Manor farm you need to make your carver provide the correct amount of meat for the price in the future.

User

we went to the manor farm on Friday 27th April at 7.30, the food was 30 minutes late but she explained this when we ordered. when the food came my mother in law and father in law both had the steak and told the waiters that the steak was too chewy and the waiter said that he will tell the chef but never came back to us after. we had deserts and that wasn't the greatest either so we all were disappointed as we have never experienced anything like this before

User

Was welcomed by friendly staff, ordered the standard carvery, but have to admit wad very disappointing, meagre portions of meat, of which the turkey was very dry, but the veg was not by any means cooked, and cold.

And was later told there had been several complaints, about the food, don’t think will try there again

User

Booked a large table for a ruby wedding anniversary. Only one food till so huge queues and when we ordered we got our starters which were not cleared away and everyone else in our party had finished their meals along time before our mains arrived. Really poor and ruined what should have been a lovely family evening.

User

waited an hour and a half for our meal . some of our friends had their starter main meal and dessert . we were still waiting. waitress was coming out with meals .saying did you order this .did.nt know which table no they were for .terrible night and we had gone for our wedding annivesary.

User

Wouldn’t use Manor Farm again! I rang to book a table to be told just turn up so myself and my 8 friends did just that at 6pm to be told we could be seated at 8pm!!! So why didn’t they take my booking?? The man at front of house was also quite sarcastic about it. On the plus side we went to The Hunters Moon, a lovely lady there pushed 2 tables together to accommodate us and we had a lovely meal!!

User

Totally disgusting charging £1:60 for a glass of water will not be back even though I was having a meal has to be the worse place I’ve ever been

User

This is the the third time tonight that we have had to wait an excessive amount of time for food to arrive at the table and the orders have been mixed up, put under the wrong table. Will not be going again

User

I ordered the ciabatta bbq chicken without coleslaw due to allergies and my lunch came out with coleslaw on it the chap that brought it out took it back scrapped the coleslaw off the plate and brought it back the ciabatta and chips still had coleslaw on it we had to ask again for it to be put right I loved coming here thought it was value for money the staff were friendly but think this will be my last visit as I could be made to be ill! Shame really
