At a very wet Hope Technology Ltd Pre Peaks 2018 three members of the Race Team tackled the 43 mile off-road course with around 4,000ft of climbing. A tough few hours in the saddle for all, but with some great results once more. Richard Tarling 4th, Steve Hayward 5th and an amazing 12th in the Female Category for Angela Watson! A massive well done to Neil Hayward who came 7th in Expert Category in last weekends final round of the HSBC UK National Cross Country Series 2018- Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells. Neil has finished 12th overall in the series and is Nationally Ranked 14th in Expert. This weekend the Fishface Cycles Race Team will be racing at Pivot Twentyfour12. As Winners of the Male Veteran Quads 24hr 2017 race we will be back to try and retain the title. Our Male Pairs 12hr 2018 duo Won their category in 2017 and this year racing for us they are looking hot to take to the podium once more. We will also have our first Female contender at this event competing in the Female Solo 12hr. A fine days work today from the Fishface Cycles Race Team at the Midlands XC MTB Series 2018 Round 5- High Bramley Wood. Phil Glaze once more crafted a sweet 1st Place in the Vets, Neil Hayward took an awesome 3rd in Expert and Steve Hayward bagged a hard fought 8th in the Vets. Not really one for giving feedback but felt that I had to, bought a Bianchi XR4 from these guys, WOW, what a bike, i'm a fussy bugger and I bought from Fish Face because of the vibe I got from Karl, felt like I had known him for years, took my old bike and he matched the setup, only needed minor tweaks, just got back from my first 100 miler on Giulia (Bianchi owners might know why the name) and she is amazing, only issue I have with Karl and the shop is they say the are a LBS, how can they be when I live in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, worth the drive boys. :)

Karl and the team at Fishface provided the best service I have ever received in over 30 years on two wheels. Their passion for cycling, product knowledge, after-sale care and tech skills are second to none. I can promise you, you wonŌĆÖt get service like that from online retailers. Support your local bike shop :-)

Fishface are simply great. My Commencal Meta frame is brilliant and Karl and the team did a great job taking the 'bits' off my old frame and fitting to the new one. The guys really know their stuff and don't sell you the most expensive kit, they sell you kit that fits your style of riding.
