No Fun Run or Dog show (too hot) but lots of fun launching the steam boat today. Full steam ahead for Fladbury Walkabout!

Fun Dog Show & Agility Cancelled - Bearing in mind the weekend's weather forecast, we have continued our review of activities with appropriate organisers and in the best interests of the dogs' welfare, have had to cancel all dog related activities over the weekend. We would further recommend that visitors do not consider taking dogs to such events in the forecast conditions.

Fun Run Cancelled! - You can have too much of a good thing. #FladWalk2018 will be an event for strolling around, but unfortunately Sunday's weather forecast 🌞 means we have to review each of our activities and have had to cancel the Fun Run 💦. Heatstroke ain't fun, folks. But come and enjoy the rest at a leisurely pace.

Dogs welcome at the Fladbury Walkabout!

Football Phobic or Fanatic? We have it all at the Fladbury Walkabout! 'Phobics' - we have 28 Open Gardens, Flower Festival, Live Music and much more, giving endless opportunities to escape. 'Fanantics' - Saturday's England match will be screened in the Fladbury Social Club, which also has a Beer Fest this weekend. Just saying!

Just five days to go and Walkabout weather is looking good!
Very pleased to have Twenty Eight Open Gardens this year to complement the stunning Flower Festival and all the other normal activities.
New for this year we will have Horse & Carriage rides on both days and a Steam Boat to complement the normal River Trips

Well what a wonderful Walkabout weekend! A great turnout and bound to be a good result when all the figures are in. Especially pleasing for organisers and helpers alike though, is the lovely comments received from so many visitors throughout the weekend. Thank you all so much and please give us your feedback here. We'd love to hear what you particularly liked, what you think could be improved and anything new you would like us to consider consider for next year.

Just a few days to a great Walkabout weekend when all of the planning and hard work comes together! Why not make a day of it and bring your friends and family - there's so much to see and do!

User

With so many gardens, flower arrangements and other attractions at the Fladbury Walkabout you'll need to take a break! Why not relax for a while and enjoy live music from Loose Covers, Young Voices or Spa Strummers on Saturday 8th July, whilst Arrow Valley Brass Band and Jazz-A-Jo-Jo will be there to entertain on Sunday 9th, together with the Belle d'Vain Morris Clog Dancers.

The scene is set - 25 Open Gardens and a stunning Flower Festival to enjoy, not to speak of live music, classic cars, boat trips and a fun dog show. Make a date! Fladbury Walkabout - Sat 8th & Sun 9th July 11.00am - 5.00pm

We had a wonderful day at Fladbury today. I thought the animal exhibition was unnecessary though, the raccoon seemed traumatised and it's owners were rude. Please don't include this show at future walkabouts.

Lovely day out looking at beautiful gardens in this very pretty village. There was plenty to see stretched across about a mile and I think pricing for the event was good too. Great car parking and overall staff were fantastic. The dog show was a bit disappointing as there was only about 3 dogs on show, maybe needed a bit more advertising to get participants ? A few bric a brac stands etc but I would have personally liked to have seen a cake stand selling cupcakes, chocolate brownies, doughnuts etc. There was nibbles for the kids but not for the adults. I liked the animal section but did feel bad for the raccoon in such a small cage.
