Football Road Trips

Wow!! Just wow!! Ive just returned from a 4 day trip and life will never be the same again (nor will my internal organs, specifically the kidney and liver!!) The days are longer and the sky is greyer and friends and family, just dont seem what they were before the life changing event of a football road trip.



The party bus was like a mini ibiza..... only with the more glorious scent of booze, sweat and trumps and now that im back home, boy do i miss that sweet, sweet smell.



The games we went to were amazing, particularly Dortmund, (we were in the yellow wall) the atmosphere was amazing and the fans adopted us as their own.



The guide and driver (Jamie and Sylivia) were class........ i miss both of them more than my childhood sweatheart �

We’ve just come back from our football road trip WOW what a weekend, I can only thank Kai and his team of guides and drivers for such a fantastic weekend, these boys went beyond the call of duty to make sure our trip was an experience none of us will forget.



The whole trip from start to finish was organised to a T the hotels were fantastic the tours around Brugge, Amsterdam and Düsseldorfs nightlife was brilliant and the Den Haag / icing on the cake the Dortmund game was unreal and an experience that no English football club can possibly get close to or offer ����



If anybody is considering / thinking about going on a football Roadtrip my advise would be to just bite the bullet and book it as im sure you will have a great time and if like me I’m sure you will want to do it again.



Kai, Liam, Yaya, Jamie, Fraser and the other drivers top work gents and once again thanks for a top weekend it will be one we won’t forget �

Recently came back from the FRT where we attended Mönchengladbach vs Augsburg and Ajax vs Feyenoord. Amazing trip from start to finish. Chris the driver was brilliant throughout and always went out of his way to sort out stops for food and the toilet.



Our guide Paul was better than I could have wished for, picking out great places to go in the cities and constantly reminding us of his love for the villa. Also had a chat with the other guide Jamie on Sunday night and he seemed like a top lad.



Lastly I’d like to say the lads on the coach were an absolute pleasure and the banter was quality throughout the trip. This definitely made those long coach journeys easier, especially whilst dying in a corner aha.



Would definitely be tempted to go again, Rio 2019 aha.





P.S Sh*t on the villa.

One of the best weekends of my life and think the lads would all agree. Kai, Jamie and everyone at footy road trips, can't thank you enough for making it an incredible stag do for my best mate. These guys went out their way to make it the best possible trip. Amazing from start to finish. Shout out to Silvia our fab driver and again to Jamie for putting up with us and being a great sport throughout.

Just returned home from a fantastic trip with Football Road Trips,taking in Bruges,Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.From the collection point in London and the several hundred miles that ensued we all had a great time.My group of 4 had a great laugh with the other 11 on our bus,and guide Frazer and the driver Kamal were great.Already looking to book another trip,highly recommend anyone thinking about booking to get a trip booked,you won’t be disappointed �

Just returned from the package 19 road trip to see Dortmund and PSV. What a trip! very well organised with decent beer, great atmospheres at the games and amazing nights out in Bruges, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam (even though my body couldn’t take any more booze by dam). Our guide Craig led the group really well, had decent banter and knew the areas we were visiting well. Also yaya the driver was a funny guy! The hotels we stayed at were all to a good standard and not too far out of the city (Around a 10 min taxi ride after night out). Personal highlight was the atmosphere at Dortmund before during and after the game!

Just recovered from last weekends shenanigans. Absolutely mental weekend, but in a good way. Such a varied bunch of lads (& lass) with fans of teams who were playing each other , Celtic v Rangers, Villa v Wolves & Man U Liverpool, plus a huge stag party , banter levels were off the scale. The travelling flies by with a bit of music & few (?) beers + our driver Yaya , the Moroccan Dele Alli tearing up the motorways.

Hotels were all respectable with quick fire check in. My personal highlights were Dortmund game, obviously Amsterdam at night but most memorable was probably about 50 of the group all descending on a late night Karaoke bar in Düsseldorf for a monster farewell party on the Sunday night.

Great organisation & interaction with the main man Kai and guides Liam,Jamie & Fraser. Great bunch of drivers too. So many memories made in such a short time, a ‘must do’ for any football fan, young or old.

Just got back from package 17 had an amazing time from start to finish if your a footie fan and your thinking about booking this trip I would highly recommend it. Amazing support from Sarah from the start of booking all the way through to Kai being a proper good guide he was always checking we were having a good time you could see that us enjoying ourselves was his priority this is a very unique quality which stood out to me. Kai's knowledge of stadiums and the cities we visited was very impressive.

The two games we watched had an atmosphere like nothing I've seen before and sitting in the yellow wall is an experience I will never forget.

The coach is well comfortable so makes travelling around easy especially with unlimited beer, PS4, music and banter.

Overall the trip was incredible I will be back for many more trips!

Just got back from package 11 at the weekend and this trip was absolute quality from start to finish. Got to see 2 quality stadiums and stayed in 3 brilliant places...Bruges, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam with the 2 games we got to see being Dortmund vs Hamburg and Ajax vs FC Twente.



Our tour guide Jamie was excellent and couldn’t fault anything he done at all. Same goes with our driver Rafa who was a top bloke and both got involved in having a laugh with us lot.



This trip will live long in the memory and if anyone is considering doing one of these trips then you 100% need to do this, We will certainly be coming back...what a weekend!!

Just back from a 3 night stag do in which i was the best man.

We had a to make a couple of changes with games due to fixture changes.

So we hit Belgium friday, Amsterdam on the Saturday and attended the Dortmund game on the Sunday with Dusseldorf after.

Dortmund scored a last minute winner, so some experience that was.

The company director came on the trip but not on our bus.

Had a good craic with him and he played a blinder and got us 4 tickets for the Dortmund "wall".

Our driver chris was spot on and hit our ferry crossings, even with us need a piss stop every, what seemed like 10 minutes.

We had a top bloke in Jamie, who was our guild. The bloke really couldnt do enough for us. He was very knowledgeable about everything that was happening down to the finer details.

The whole trip was amazing, all the lads loved it.

Jesus that was brutal. ridiculous fun. Games were unreal. Dont think ive ever laughed with the boys as much. lost my voice and 5 days later I still need nightly photo checks to remind myself It happend! Staff were on it. Silvia the driver needs to get into F1. Only criticism is there was too much beer and my bladder, like the rest of me....is too small.

Had an amazing experience using the company!! Having booked with a group of 5 lads who love football we thought this is a must book trip! Couldn’t thank Dan for organising everything over the weekend so well and helped all the groups out as much as possible and made it more enjoyable! The 3 groups on the trip hit it off and had class nights out in all 3 cities with each other! The idea of 3 cities in 3 nights with 2 game of football is amazing and is a must book for any football loving fan! Highly recommended and can’t wait to book another trip with the company in the future

Flew in for a night or two out with the boys who were on a FRT weekend. Despite not having even signed up, I still ended up in the yellow wall at Dortmund, shoulder to shoulder with my mates and about 30,000 yellow clad, flare waving Dortmund fans. Amazing hospitality from the FRT team. Four days have gone by and I still don’t really know what happened to me or when I’ll be able to hold a normal conversation again. 10/10.

Fantastic service by Kai and Sarah on my 2nd trip. It was a straightforward journey into Bruges via Calais followed by a highly recommended argentine steakhouse, probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Mönchengladbach and Dortmund both blew me away with their beer gardens, food and atmosphere inside both stadiums. And Düsseldorf has such a good variety of bars and restaurants it’s too difficult to pick the best out of the lot. After Dortmund, where else to have a better night out than my favourite city of Amsterdam. Anyone who reads this I recommend that you book a trip with your pals and you will NOT regret in doing so.

Best 4 days of my life. Had this as a surprise for my Stag do and got to see a couple games in Germany including tickets for the yellow wall at Dortmund. Really accommodating staff, our guide Jamie and driver Silvia were absolute legends. Thanks for an unforgettable experience guys!!

Attended what can only be described as footballing hedonism last weekend. From start to finish the people the places the activities were sublime. FRT look after you exceptionally well from the second you meet at St Pancras until they drop you back off, we were taken care of by our guide Zoe and our driver Rafa a big thank you to them both as nothing was too much trouble and for putting up with what must have been one of the loudest busses in their history.

Our trip consisted of a night in Bruges which is a stunning city before heading of the next day to watch Borussia Mönchengladbach v Hertha Berlin, the stadium is brilliant and the atmosphere matched it. We then travelled to Düsseldorf for an evening of culture and merriment and enough drink to sink a small tanker, the city is a must do as it is so busy and vibrant. The next day was what I can only describe as probably the best lads day I have ever experienced, the yellow wall of Borussia Dortmund.

Topping up the drink levels on the coach to Dortmund set the scene for the day, arriving at the ground we all got our Dortmund tops and headed to the beer garden. The place was bouncing, the sun was shining and everyone was excited for the game. A few beers sunk and we made our way to the yellow wall, as we walked up the stairs to the entrance and looked up, to a man all our jaws dropped. Seeing that yellow wall in all its glory is something you can’t believe until you’ve been there and we were all buzzing to say we had.

The place rocked the whole match and we loved every second of it. The atmosphere continued on the coach journey to Amsterdam after the game with the coach in full swing the time flew by and before we knew it we had hit the Dam. A few solid hours of partying and a very short sleep later it was time to get on the coach and head for Blighty. A far more subdued trip this time but we were no less taken care of, just as throughout the rest of trip the FRT team were first class and I really couldn’t recommend them highly enough. You cannot understand the value of this trip or how good it is until you’ve done it, so don’t question it just get it booked you certainly won’t regret it.

To make it as clear as possible to anyone who has stayed with this til the end, if I still had either of my kidneys or my liver left I would happily sell them to fund this trip ����������

Anyone thinking of doing one of these trips needs to grab there balls and book on because you will not be disappointed at all, just got back from Package 17 - Gladbach and Dortmund and those grounds and fans are crazy and the atmosphere from start to finish is seriously something to see! The nights out in Bruges and Dusseldorf are really good and the trip flies by on the road with PS4, beer and laughs! All the guides are awesome, really friendly and helpful and drivers have patience of saints (Big up Kemar!) See you next season FRT, Kai message us when the fixtures are out in June!! Absolutely quality weekend at the Dortmund and Ajax games.

We had Rafa as our driver who was an absolute legend. He did everything the guys on the bus wanted and had a laugh with you along the way.



A special mention must go to our guide James. No matter the time of day, he always put the boys first and show us the best places. All he wanted was to make our trip as good as it could possibly be and everyone is extremely grateful.



Thanks to all those at football road trips for arranging such a well organized trip which we would highly recommend to anyone out there! We're all looking forward to next years trip!

A stag weekend to remember for a lifetime and one that will be tough to top. Massive thanks to our guide Jamie and to the legend of a driver Silvia. You got us lads into the countries, the games and bars and we all made it back home! Excellent work.
