@Futsal Description

@Futsal Group are leading pioneers in the small-sided football craze that's undergoing a global revolution. With 5* state-of-the-art Arenas around the UK, an Education & Scholarship programme to nurture young talent and excellent Franchise opportunities, @Futsal is a brand that's accessible to all.

Their Central hub at Birmingham is Europe's largest indoor football facility. They also have a Southern hub in Swindon, a Northern hub in Leeds and are about to l
launch a North West hub in Oldham in partnership with Oldham College.

Futsal, which originated in Uruguay and soon flourished in Brazil and Argentina, is FIFA's only officially approved version of small-sided football; the same can also be said for UEFA and The FA. With a regulation size 4 ball, a smooth hard playing surface, scaled down versions of standard football goals and touchlines instead of barrier boards, it is the closest representation of the 11-a-side game whilst adopting a small-sided format.

Teams consist of 5 players on the pitch at any one time, plus up to 7 substitutes, and rolling substitutions are available throughout. Games typically consist of two 20 minute halves, and the benefits at all levels are universally apparent.

For all-time legends such as Pele, Socrates and Zico to contemporary superstars such as Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, Futsal has been cited as a crucial aspect in the development of their game. Amongst many things, it aids close control, composure, speed of thought, fitness and spatial awareness on the pitch.

Recognising the importance of delivering the experience to the highest possible standard, @Futsal use the same state-of-the-art flooring that FIFA use in their Futsal World Cup. Housing a vibrant and urban environment, their Arenas include Sports Bar Café areas, Breakout zones, Interactive and Retail zones plus Learning facilities and Sports Injury centres.

From weekly Leagues and Tournaments to Kids Parties, Skills Camps, Corporate Events, and Pitch Bookings right through to multi-sport activities including Dodgeball, Netball and Roller Derby, @Futsal venues are all about the experience from the moment that you enter until the moment that you leave.

Leeds International @Futsal Arena recently welcomed the most successful Roller Derby league in the world, New York's Gotham Girls, in their colossal showdown with UK #1 the London Rollergirls.

My Grandson had his birthday party here today and it was excellent. so close to home but didn't know it was there. It was booked through a groupon deal and we didn't know what to expect ...but we would certainly recommend it to others... The coach was called Kevi and he was fantastic great attitude with the 5 year old kids Thankyou @ Futsal.

User

I think it's a brilliant stepping stone for the kids to develop there skills.... As football starts with. Grass roots

User

Great venue and sport, what are you waiting for? get playing!

User

A fast moving game played with a weighted ball,in doors,on parquet flooring.Unlike 5-aside there are no walls to play the ball off and the goals are bigger.This is a game about speed and quick feet .....fail to score and you'll be picking the ball out of your net !

I have played roller derby at futsal on a number of occasions over the last year, and though I quite like the floor surface, I feel that the facilities are somewhat lacking.
