Today The Gainsborough House Hotel had a special V.I.P. visitor. As we welcomed through our doors “Father Christmas”. Whilst the sleigh and the reindeer were hidden from view, We sat with Santa going through all the good girls & boys on our mailing list over some pre festive mulled wine & mince pies. Santa then offered to do a Christmas mail run for The Gainsborough Hotel. So he said “I shall drop a fabulous Christmas brochure down their chimney, or even through their door”, ...that they may see all the festive joy that we have to offer. Not only with friends & family but work colleagues to. So if your one of the good girls & boys, and have received one of our festive brochures through your door.......you know you have made it onto our good & nice list. Those of you who that didn’t make the nice list, don’t despair. There is still plenty of time to get yourselves onto the good list. Wow is a I can say every thing about the day was perfect from day one when my daughter and now son in law started to arrange their wedding day we can't fault them all the staff we meet friendly nothing to much trouble serves 100% the room looked beauiful good so food sit down and buffet so yummy if you're thinking about a wedding you can't go wrong here thank you so much for making it a perfect day 5 stars all the way x

We stayed here after attending a UB40 Tribute Band at the West Mid Safari park on Saturday 18th August 2018. Beautifully clean hotel where the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had everything we needed including an extremely comfortable bed ... the best pillows by far! There was a good choice for breakfast including cereals, fruit and croissants etc and the full english was hot but they did run out of bacon and scrambled egg but quickly replenished it. Will definitely be staying again! Thank you �

We have just had the most magical � � day the staff were amazing the food was delicious and everyone has commented on how beautiful the hotel was and the service was �.

We had our wedding here, and couldn't have been happier! The staff are friendly and very helpful, and our planner Viv was amazing throughout the day :) The function room was done out amazingly, and the food was excellent! The DJ was also excellent, comments from our guests said that it was the best music they had heard at a wedding!



Our honeymoon suite was huge, with great decor and lovely options. The four-poster bed was sooo comfortable after the long day!



The breakfast in the morning was also excellent, lots of options, and plenty of food to munch :)



I would have no problems in booking another room here for any reason!

Stayed here at the beginning of July and me, hubby and kids loved it. Clean rooms and a great view. Staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was amazing....so much choice and something for everyone. Highly Recommend this hotel. Thank you for a great experience....we will be back soon to enjoy Safari Park on our next stay.

Only stayed one night as off to a funeral but very enjoyable. Fab room, very clean and good food and drink, would definitely stay here again.

Myself and my partner would like to thank the staff at the Gainsborough House Hotel for making our wedding day so special. A huge thank you to Tim and Viv for their help and support leading up to the day and on the day you were fantastic! Everyone really enjoyed themselves we've had so many lovely comments! My husband & I booked our secret wedding here, under the guise of my 50th Birthday Party!! Viv & TIm were great leading up to the day, as we’d kept it complicated for them, being a secret wedding!! Tim had great suggestions to “add” to the day, & looked after us superbly, especially as the day was very emotional due to my Dad being taken ill; we really can’t thank you & the rest of the staff enough for making it such a wonderful day. Big hugs Mr & Mrs Scott!! x

I covered a wedding there recently. Having never photographed a wedding there before I was surprised to how big it is inside and new bar area is really nice. A great place for wedding guests to mingle, grab a drink and relax. I would welcome the chance to shoot a wedding there again. David Loveland Photography

Held our Slimming Wold Christmas party here last night, many many comments from members about how great the night was and how fab the food was, room looked great the staff were very friendly the DJs were fab too, a great time had by all, will definateley be back next year, room I stopped in was fab, lovely breakfast too, thankyou for an amazing night x

Had our wedding here on Saturday 19th Nov and it was truly amazing viv our wedding coordinator was amazing and 2 members of staff (Daniel and mike) stood out exceptionally they were amazing with every little or big thing we had to ask can not recommend this place enough thank you for making our day complete

Had a carvery yesterday for Father's day and I can honestly say best roasts and fresh vegetables in a long time even my two children ate well ! Chocolate Toffee Truffle crunch desert was to die for ! Delightful service and waitress will be going back very soon ........

Evening meal was excellent with wonderful food and great service. Buffet breakfast was hot and plentiful. The room was a little dated, with dark wood furniture, but nevertheless was very comfortable. All in all a great place to stay.

Attended the ABBA Express tribute night and 70’s disco - What made it good? It wasn’t over crowded - The atmosphere was brilliant - The act were great and no drunken idiots in the room to spoil it for others - Everyone who attended MUST have enjoyed their time- if not, why not?! - If you missed it, you missed out on a brilliant night out - Hopefully the hotel will provide another ABBA night like that again- It was fun, entertaining and I shared the biggest laughs with all of my friends who attended and made new friends too 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A very friendly and welcoming hotel. All staff greeted us with a smile. The room was lovely and very clean and spacious. Our three course evening meal was delicious, and our full English breakfast the following morning was of a high standard also. Thank you for making our weekend away so enjoyable.

We visited the Safari park on the 20th & booked to stay at this hotel.Best decision.Great location.And friendly staff.The family room was very clean.And the evening dinner was superb.Compliments to the Chef.The girls loved the Chocolate Trio (yummy).

My only negative : the ensuite needs an update, new grouting & sealant.

But overall still thumbs up from us!!

The hotel was excellent. Staff first class. Meals at night and in morning great. If I was picky I would say no lifts was the only disappointment. However I would recommend the Hotel to anyone visiting Kidderminster.

I.was at the hotel with my daughter for a wellbeing function they were holding.We later sat in the bar for a cup of tea and a sandwich ,it was a comfortable pleasant experience, the staff were welcoming and friendly and our cheese and Tomato sandwiches were very nice with a lovely side salad and crisps , we sat very comfortably in the pleasant surroundings.We could have had a bar meal or a carvery .The prices weren't too bad either .Overall a very pleasant relaxing event and drink in the bar �
