lovely food great portion sizes and enjoyed my birthday meal
Wonderful pub... Lots of different Teas yo sit and full of interesting things. Very reasonable prices good and drink. Would recommend the stilton pie. Well worth a visit .. or two!
What can I say about the Gardeners Arms?? What an amazing little Tardis of a place. The menu is extensive! It doesn't matter what you're in the mood for, there will be something that satisfies. The service is phenomenal. I'm pretty sure the three staff that were on tonight must have been cloned as they were everywhere. The food was sublime and the puddings to die for. After our meal we retired to the bar to sample more of the CAMRA recommended ales. If ale isn't your thing then check out the cider bar outside! It won't disappoint, more flavours than you can imagine. A bit like the Cider version of Willy Wonkas chocolate factory! Just a shame I can only give five stars. Well done guys, don't change a thing.
We’ve never had a bad meal but tonight was exceptional! Steaming hot, fresh home cooked food, very reasonably priced and cosy surroundings. Cannot recommend enough!!
Went on a quiet Thursday night. My mate knew the pub of old and her face dropped. OMG what had I done bringing my mates here. But what a transformation this place has had. The menu was HUGE. The food was soo tasty and delicious. There was live but not intrusive music in the bar. There was a real comfortable ambience. The staff were attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. What a find. Definitely recommend.
Weird, eclectic charming and interesting with some fabulous gardens. One of the best pubs EVER. Food fantastic, beer brilliant, staff and service absolutely first rate.
Visited The Gardeners for the first time on Sunday. A brilliant evening, from start to finish.
Food was lovely, served quickly and by a fun, smiley member of staff. The bar even had a rum that my hubby hasn't seen anywhere apart from New York!
Loved the Vintage music channel playing on the TVs and all the little parts of the garden where you can squirrel yourself away.
Landlord was everything I'd expect from someone in that role-on the ball and attentive... And full of bonhomie
Thanks for looking after us so well and we can't wait to come back.
This pub is a hidden gem ..it was last stop on our coach pup crawl and definitely best one ..
This place is amazing. My husband and I are enjoying a lovely real ale and Thatchers Haze in the garden, while the kids play happily in the playground. The kids were delighted to buy Magnums from the garden bar for 75p each. It is eclectic and quirky, and something for everyone. Well done indeed!
The live music session here on Saturday night was excellent and it was unsual to find a small pub like this with a special vegetarian menu with a huge amount of choice. Brilliant!
Small quaint and perfectly formed.
The food is fresh, with a wide beautifully descriptive menu to tickle your taste buds.
Don't be in a rush and the food is worth waiting for.
Met friends at Gardeners Arms yesterday, 14th April and was our first visit Very friendly pub and food was fantastic will be going again and will definitely be recommending Dogs also welcome in bar area and a section of the garden which we did use as weather was beautiful
Love the open planned garden , different layers children's play area away from quite areas . Have used Gardeners for drinks
Yesterday was my first experience dining ,
Pleasant dining room , in between menus but still very good selection .
My friend had one of there pies which she enjoyed , I chose cold dish , nicely presented which I also enjoyed . Apple pie was superb . I loved the Cotten serviette. Will be returning .
If ever you are in Droitwich find this amazing pub, food is excellent, a family run pub and the outside gardens are a must to see.
Great place live music and lovely food and the ciders are tasty. Had a great afternoon there spent with friends. X
Great night with the Wednesday girls for Anna's birthday. No complaints off any of them ,that's a first. Lovely food and service.good laugh with the pub quiz Anna's team came second lol.We will definitely be going again, really lovely staff.
Great food...great beer and even better service
Great find! A quirky little place with lots of character and a a never ending amount of beers to choose from! Will be visiting often over the summer months 😄
Great Place friendly atmosphere fantastic staff and landlord
Good home made local food.
Polite and friendly waiter.
Good atmosphere.
Food always excellent and very generous portions. Always plenty of real ales on and with its new cider bar and wine library, there really is something for everyone.
Fantastic staff, amazing food and now even have an incredible vegetarian and vegan selection too. I love going here whether with meat eaters or other veggies or just for a drink or 3!
Fantastic service. Fabulous food. Quirky & different. Lovely landlady. Will definitely return!
Fantastic Christmas dinner, all home cooked and absolutely delicious and so much too eat. Couldnt fault a thing and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. Will definitely visit again and again. Thank you to all x
Facinating place so many nooks n crannies to explore - space to suit all tastes. Had a fabulous pie dinner wow loved it along with my dandelion n burdock cider yum yum can't wait to go back x
Classic little pub, top notch pies (best I've eaten) and I've eaten a few! A must do if passing!
Best pub going and food brill
Been in a few times now. First time for a drink with my partner & we sat outside with the dogs, as we had been a lovely walk along the canal. The outside garden is lovely all on different levels. Next time i time i took my mom & we had cheesey chips snack while we waited for my sister to arrive at the train station.
We went back again for lunch a few days later.
The owners and staff are lovely, welcoming & the food was great. We will defo be back
Absolutely the best pub around, like an aladins cave with lots of different areas to suit drinkers, diners, families.
Friendly helpful staff, amazing food with a huge choice from the bar or restaurant menu's.
Stunningly decorated, cosy and homely.
Brilliant choice of Ale or cider.
Simply the perfect pub.
Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely love this pub & staff!! Our favourite. Gorgeous cosy friendly pub with character. A lot of pub, cosy bar, dinning areas, games room, snug, plenty of outdoor areas. Entertainment, lots of drinks ciders&ales!! Gorgeous food. Very friendly staff. Highly recommendable
Wonderful pub, great setting, great beers & cider BUT the food, we had to send our beer battered Fish n Chips back, batter uncooked and not crispy, when it came a second time we peeled the batter off, probably made with self raising flour & basic error
Unfortunately there was no vegetarian Sunday lunch roast option on the menu so the hot meal I looked forward to from this recommended pub grub place, had to be a cheese roll! Not quite the reward I was hoping for after the 10 miles I walked to get there! Never mind, I was impressed enough with the place to consider eating there in my up and coming birthday when hot meals for a veggie like me will be on offer.
Poor service but lovely meal
Only 3 as we didn't have any food! The garden is the best pub garden I have seen for a long time and right on the door step! A must visit pub! Proper pub!
We were loving our lazy afternoon in our supposedly dog friendly local pub when we were very rudely told by a member of staff who snapped at us to put dogs on leads and asking for dogs to be kept quiet suggesting our dogs might upset children. We have 2 very good relaxed cockapoos who have been with us to this pub many times. We had been here a good few hours keeping ourselves to ourselves with children before we were rudely spoken to. We were regular pub quizzers now looking for a new local. Very disappointed.
Keep away do not drink in there a girl got taken round the back by a regular and got severely beaten up and her phone snapped in half with his bare hands .. the landlord wiped the cctv.. apparently this guy is a undercover policeman who can't handle his drink the police and landlord are all corrupt don't give this pub business !!! Really a weird set up
Came here for my birthday lunch and it was such a dissapointment. Burgers were fried to death but still managed to be served cold. The wait for food was so drawn out & they weren't very busy at all. We would not recommend and will not return.
Awful! Waited an hour for our starter which I might add was only garlic bread and flatbreads. We then had to forget to starters as it was getting too late .. waited again for mains .. the lasagna was nice but the chips were still partly frozen!!! There was no apology from staff and nobody checked to see how our mains were. The staff need some training on customer service!!!! Really disappointed in the service and atmosphere . Will not be returning !
Awful service. First arrived to friendly staff..... however once an hour had past and we hadn't even got our flatbread starter the attitude started to change!! We had no apology that we were waiting, we kept having to ask although they could see we had been waiting an hour for the response to keep being 'it's on its way'!! Cancelled the starter, then our mains arrived after long wait which had obviously been rushed, we were not asked if everything was ok with our food while eating and was not offered anything in return for the poor service until we had to ask. Good customer service should always be a priority, shame it wasn't and as a result I will not be returning.
