Full Time - Maintenance Person Required
Picturedrome Cinemas takes pride in our appearance. We require a Maintenance Person to ensure all maintenance issues are addressed as speedily as possible
We have a great opportunity at our new site to work on the initial refurbishment. We wish to open in Summer 2018. Once open you will be required to keep up to date with day to day maintenance issues.
... Key Accountabilities:
Duties include decorating, carpentry, general maintenance and basic plumbing Adhere to safety regulations, for example working at heights and C.O.S.H.H. Ability to finish work to a high standard and leave the job in a clean and tidy manner. To have a pro-active approach to addressing tasks and potential issues. Ability to work independently or within a team. Once the cinema is operational, the hours of work will be early mornings before the site opens. Work flexible hours where required. Local candidate preferred (within 8 miles of Gaumont Cinema) Ideally will be on-call in case of maintenance emergencies. Ability to travel to other sites if required. A driving licence with 6 or fewer points

We would like to say a big Thank You for all the messages of support we have had from everyone, all so very positive!
I would especially like to thank Cllr Peter Hughes and Cllr Elaine Costigan whose support behind the scenes on helping to bring the cinema back to the town has been invaluable, I very much hope that we will continue to work with the Council and the newly adopted BID, to make Wednesbury even better then it is now. As a business we are extremely supportive of the BID and are very much looking forward to what it will bring to the town, in terms of growth and investment.

Welcome to the our page for the new Gaumont Cinema, Wednesbury. The cinema is due to open summer 2018 and will be the newest member of the Picturedrome Cinema Family.
