Due to this Wednesday's exciting England game, The Moat House have made the understandable decision to postpone their wedding showcase to Wednesday 25th July.
Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the new date this year but we look to continue with a wedding open evening of our own in late September.

What a lovely afternoon on your boat trip today very well organized and fish and chips were lovely and even manage a lovely piece of cake thanks for a great afternoon �

We did the Easter cupcake experience today and had the most perfect time... �Made even better by Jess and crew deciding to take the boat a cruise out �... which the children ( and adults) absolutely loved. �The boat was decorated beautifully... �the staff were all fantastic... �the children really enjoyed decorating the cupcakes ...� and big shout out to the crazy Easter bunny� and the young lad doing all our washing up � can’t wait to board again... Thankyou �

Tonight’s cruise was wonderful l, a real treat for my friend and I. As a non drinker thank you so much for the fantastic range of mocktails. Everything was so reasonably priced. Fantastic hosting the service was excellent x

Thoroughly enjoyed today’s afternoon tea even though the weather was rubbish. Very friendly staff and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Already speaking to friends to find out when I can go again.

This is the second trip taken aboard Georgie's Canal Cruises and I can honestly say the minute you step aboard you are treated like family not a paying customer. Such a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff are all so friendly and cannot do enough for you, they were different on both trips and the service didn't alter.



Our first cruise was a Fish & Chip supper and it was superb, with great portion sizes and served with bread and butter with a cup of mushy peas. Absolutely delicious � Having lived in Penkridge, and our favourite chippy being the one used by the Georgie's, I can definitely say you won't be disappointed!



The second visit was on an afternoon tea with some work friends and again it was great. We were all seated together at the front of the boat which was great. Tea was topped up and sandwiches delicious, even the less adventurous amongst us were given plain sandwiches and all were happy. The cakes were all homemade and very yummy ! My only disappointment was not being able to have one of the scones, I have a strawberry allergy and forgot to tell them when booking, and although I asked for an alternative it was too late as they didn't have anything on board but that was totally my own fault !



Weather was pretty naff on both visits but it stop them being an enjoyable trip, made it more cosy and you still get to see the awesome views as you move along the canal.



Would definitely recommend for something different and relaxing and I will definitely visit again �

So yesterday we boarded Georgie's Canal Cruise boat and from beginning to end it was beautiful. It was our first time,So what better way to do it than breakfast with Santa. Everything you could have eaten for breakfast from christmas tree shaped toast,cereal, croissants,cakes,bacon & sausage baps and fruit,all the tea,coffee and fruit juice you could drink.

The staff were lovely & couldn't do enough for you with a warm welcome on entrance,oh and the christmas CD was fab,all My favourites

Excellent evening last night on one of the Wine and Cheese cruises. Lovely, relaxing atomsphere. Food was delicious, plenty for the two of us sharing. Shame I couldn’t drink the wine as I was driving (but didn’t ruin the evening at all) Great choice of soft drinks available at a good price. Staff very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Boat has been renevated to a excellent standard, very comfortable. All round an brilliant evening.

Came today with my sister for afternoon tea. I had a vegan option and the food was amazing. Best cakes I've ever had. Can't wait to come again.
