About Gill Treanor: Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a form of natural healthcare, using gentle muscle testing to help understand what imbalances there are within the body & how to correct them. Looking to identify the root cause of the problem and not just treating symptoms.

๐ŸŒณ Forest bathing, good for the soul ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’—
๐ŸŒณ Lovely walks nearby in woods include Ryton, Wappenbury, Cubbington, Ufton Woods.
๐ŸŒณ Can you recommend any other local woodland walks?

Isnโ€™t this so true for most of us?
Iโ€™ve been told quite a lot that I spend too much time in my head. I can be terrible, having thought through a Plan A, B, C and D for most of my worries and their permutations - itโ€™s exhausting.
Overthinking - the art of creating problems that arenโ€™t even there ๐Ÿ˜‰
... So stop worrying about what could go wrong and start getting excited about what will go right!! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ซ

Emotions and Well-Being!! ๐Ÿ™‚โ˜น๏ธ๐Ÿ˜
๐ŸŒณ Looking at emotional well-being is a key aspect of kinesiology
๐ŸŒณ Emotions have a profound impact on our health and well-being
... ๐ŸŒณ Some emotions are known to be linked with pain in certain areas of the body, even though science cannot explain why
๐ŸŒณ It is known that the brain (inc. thoughts & emotions) plays a clear role in your experience of physical pain, and can contribute to the development of chronic disease.
๐ŸŒณ Donโ€™t ignore your emotional symptoms, theyโ€™re usually the first signs of potential imbalances within the body.

๐ŸŒณ A day of taking time out for me, listening and reflecting
๐ŸŒณ The bluebell carpet year after year never ceases to delight me
๐ŸŒณ The lovely smell of bluebells in the sunny patches, loud chorus of birds singing away, cuckoo in the background, occasional screech from the green woodpecker and the constant hum from all the bees in the flowers
... ๐ŸŒณ And relax........

I had the most amazing nurturing session this morning at Tree of Life Holistics in Rugby, leaving me feeling re-nourished after the stress of the Easter holidays.
Joanne shaped the session led by her intuition, so I ended up with a blissful combination of aromatherapy massage, crystal and sound therapy. The sound from the singing bowls, alchemy bell and crystal pyramid was sublime โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ

๐ŸŒผ I love using Bach Flower remedies! I use them during most of my treatment sessions. ๐ŸŒผ How about this mocktail recipe with a few drops of Vervain ๐ŸŒผ Vervain can help ease over zealousness, perfectionism allowing you to take time to pause

Had the most lovely first Sound Bath experience yesterday with Joanne of Tree of Life Holistics in Rugby (only 25mins away from Leamington Spa).
For me a mix of relaxation and the excitement of hearing/ feeling the various instruments. I was amazed at the power, intensity and clarity of the crystal singing bowls - wow!
Looking forward to another meditation ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ซ

GO GREY! ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ“ž
๐ŸŒณ Find yourself looking at the smartphone too much?? ๐ŸŒณA simple step that could make them less compelling to look at ๐ŸŒณ Switch off the vibrant colourful display and turn to grayscale... ๐ŸŒณ Apparently it's possible on iPhones & Androids
Iโ€™ve just changed my settings now, so it will be interesting to see if I pick up the phone less ๐Ÿค”

Busily revising for the final exams this weekend, hopefully seeing me to be of fully qualified Systematic Kinesiology Practitioner status.
My โ€œstudy buddyโ€ keeping me company and reminding me that I do need to step away from the books, get some fresh air and ground myself!

๐ŸŒณ โ€˜Lookingโ€™ at our emotions can be a powerful element of kinesiology ๐ŸŒณ Using tools such as; Bach Flower remedies; Emotional Stress Release; EFT/ Tapping or grounding can help focus and rebalance ๐ŸŒณ If we donโ€™t learn to deal with our emotions in a healthy way, they become trapped within our body causing discomfort (or dis-ease) until they are expressed as physical pain or illness. ๐ŸŒณ Our bodies are clever; they send us messages when something isnโ€™t right. ๐ŸŒณ Need to tune in, lis...ten & look at these messages (tight shoulders, frequent chest infections, IBS). ๐ŸŒณ Sometimes the physical symptoms we experience are tied up in a deeper emotional pain that needs to be dealt with first. ๐ŸŒณ Kinesiology is a holistic approach looking at all elements which impact well-being and health - emotions, physical and nutritional.

Did you notice it?
It feels much calmer today. My daughter noticed it too on the walk to school, โ€œmummy it feels much quieter this morningโ€ A walk around the woods this morning felt calmer, birds in full song, being followed by the obligatory Robin, crows buzzing the buzzard overhead and the magpies mobbing the Jay through the trees. Woodland floor bright green readying itself for the carpet of bluebells in a few months, except for this solitary one! Clearly not got the memo regarding forecast snow mid week.

What happens in a Kinesiology session? ๐ŸŒณ We start off by having a chat about what the issue is and your general health ๐ŸŒณ I will ask you to lie down on the treatment table fully clothed ๐ŸŒณ I mainly use muscle testing as it takes the guesswork out of what the body needs to restore balance ๐ŸŒณ This involves placing arms/ legs into specific positions & then apply a light pressure to the muscle being tested. This helps identify any imbalances within the body.... ๐ŸŒณ If there are any imbalances then we can look at nutrition, acupressure massage, nutritional testing, some emotional and energy balancing techniques will be utilised to restore balance. ๐ŸŒณ Please note - I do NOT benefit - financially in any way if you choose to order any supplements from me following a treatment.

Went for a lovely walk in the woods this morning with a friend, sheโ€™s a carer for her father who has Alzheimerโ€™s. Itโ€™s hard. We talked a lot but I think this sums up the message from the walk. Stop worrying about the โ€œwhat ifsโ€ itโ€™s just too much for our brains to cope with....
