Thank you very much to all customers in Newport today who came into see us. It was our busiest day ever! Sincere apologies if our service standards slipped at all during the day. We were regularly having to turn away tables as we were so busy. Thanks to Wendy, Chloe, Emma and Sophie for all working so hard today. Thanks again for your custom everyone.

Love these gingerbread men! 🎄 Our window displays and our tea cosys are knitted for us lovingly by Iris, our head chefs mum. They are all so beautifully made and they window changes with the seasons. We love going into Gods Providence the staff are always very pleasant and the food is top notch there cherry pie is to die for

We came here yesterday for a cream tea reception after our wedding. Robin couldn't of been more helpful in making it special for us. The food was to die for & for that extra bonus we had our own private room upstairs. Thank you so much for making our day so special. (We also came 2 days before & had the breakfast which was yummy)

Warm, welcoming with delicious food and the perfect pot of tea.

Visited this cafe house/ restaurant today and thought it was absolutely wonderful. Good honest home cooked meals, with very friendly staff. The place is very oldy worldly in style and is very quaint with its window display of hand knitted cakes. I had to go up and have a closer look as they were so realistic. A place i would recommend to visit whatever time of day

It is a very good place to eat in Newport, proper tea with tea leaves. Meals from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cakes to die for.

I went to Gods Providence House yesterday for a cream tea & can honestly say I've never had a better one (& I've had a lot!!). The scones were warm & freshly baked. Served with pots of delicious jam & clotted cream all beautifully presented with icing sugar & a strawberry �. The teapot had a Christmas pudding tea cosy on which was so cute. My friend commented that the scones she'd had at The Ritz weren't as good as these. A great place to revive yourself after the stress of shopping & perfectly located in the town centre. I will be visiting much more often � x
