We had our sons party here at the weekend... it was brilliant! Staff were really good and really friendly! The weather made it too as it was very hot! Thanks again x

Took the boys for the first time today, there's lots to keep them entertained. The staff were lovely in the coffee shop even passed sun cream out to those that had forgot theirs. The food was quite expensive for what you got as it all looked pretty basic and my cappuccino was small and mostly froth although I have to mention the very cheery bloke on the burger van, we will definitely be back again, great value for money otherwise.

User

My twin toddlers and myself came for the first time no so long ago with my friend and her children.

My twins loved it. They had a great time. We will be back.

With also having fussy eaters due to being premature it was great that I could bring my own food for them to have too.

We will definitely be back very soon.

Me and my son who is 4 1/2 love it here. my friends an their children love it too their children ages are 4 8 and 11. It's such an enjoyable day out you can relax an catch up with friends while the children have fun and all be outside in the fresh air you can take a picnic or there is food vans and s shop there so a good choice. The staff are lovely and very helpful and welcoming and have even been walking round asking parents if they need sun cream for their children which I thought was a lovely idea even though we had brought our own. I can't recommend grasshoppers enough and think it's more then worth the money xx

User

Love it here!! I bring my children often. They are 3,7 and 10 and all love it. Ideal to meet friends with little ones as enclosed space. Great customer service - I had reason to make a small complaint recently and staff were so helpful. Will be visiting lots this summer!

User

I went with my nephew who is 8 and a friends daughter who is 3 they both loved it. They had a donkey ride which was a little expensive for what it was but the kids loved it. The staff were friendly and The food prices wasn't bad but the adults portion wasn't much bigger than the child's. I would say it's worth the entry fee and will go again in the future.

User

I take my Grandaughter here regularly throughout the summer and we always enjoy it. The staff are lovely and the packed lunches are great as kids can choose what they want in them. It's lovely to relax with a cuppa and see the kids enjoying themselves and making new friends. Christmas time is always special as well and we usually try to make it a family event as there is something for everyone to enjoy at a reasonable cost. The food in the newly vamped restaurant is very good. I love Tong Garden Centre.

User

Great place for small children sand ,water ,climbing frames ,bouncing area ,gocarts, good value as you only pay for children and lots of seating areas some shaded

User

Came today with my daughter and two grandsons ...what a fabulous place and at a very reasonable price ( makes a change these days ) .

They were entertained all day and had a lovely lunch .

Thank you ( we will be back ) οΏ½

User

Absolutely amazing. Came for a family day out with 5 adults and a child, we all had a brilliant day and couldn’t believe how much was there

Definitely recommend!

User

Need good weather as everything is outside. There's a beach, 2 bouncy pillows, 2 play areas, donkey rides - another Β£3.50!, electric cars - Β£1slot!, diggers - another Β£1 slot so not as cheap as you think when you pay the entry fee of Β£3.50. Loads of seating. Burger van is awful so go out to the great restaurant in the shop then go back in - wristbands ensure you don't pay twice.

User

Brilliant place to go and play, amazing sand pits and bouncy pillows, my daughter loves it. However there is very little shade so on a hot day I struggle to stay longer than an hour - one of the sand areas really needs shade!

There is a bouncy pillow covered but it’s always very busy and I have a very tiny toddler that can’t go on it without getting flattered

User

the play area is fantastic but they really need to review their food situation. they are very strict about you not taking your own food and drink in but last week I went and I had to queue with my 4 year old in the red hot sun for an hour and ten minutes just to get him a drink and some chips.this is not acceptable.

User

Very disappointed on this visit. No stepping ladder for ages on price. Was told it's because you can bring a picnic now?? Well we are eating in your facilities. Rude woman just shrugged at us. Nothing in the under 3's bit to play on like last year. But then that's prob because the bigger kids last year trashed everything. An the 2 tractors that were in there were far too advanced for even my 3 yr old niece...cant say I'll be rushing back - shame really and we all love going.

User

Always enoy coming to tong but disappointed to see that it is now Β£4.50 per child over 1 (put up in time for half term) making it quite expensive for a morning out with two children.

User

A little bit annoyed. I visited today with my 3 and a half year old nice and my 12 month old daughter (and grandparents). Why does my (crawling) 12 month old toddler pay Β£3.50 Which is the same price as my niece when she blatantly can't use all the facilities !?

Either under 2's should be FREE or they needs to be a pricing pyramid...Β£1 for crawlers (over1)Β£1.50 walking to 23 months, 2year to 3 should be Β£2.50 and 3+ Β£3.50! This happens in play gyms etc so why not here!?

User

What a amazing play area for the kids and I can't fault that!! Last year was the same... absoloutly poor service with the good!!

One chef who clearly had no worry about time and a young lad bless him unsure how to cut a tea cake. We waited a HOUR for two trays of chips and jacket potatoes was 40 minutes... fair enough we can't bring our own food but this was stupid and so many people agreed! Stood in a que with two kids running bout how is that going to work??? This needs sorting asap and I don't think many people and myself will visit after speaking in the que.

User

We love to come here over the summer months. But today I was very disappointed I took my 8 year old son and my 17 month old daughter who I had to pay the same for them both to play. which I don’t think is right as my daughter can not use the same things as my son. And the small area where she is age to play had nothing in it she could use there was broken toys and nothing in there to play with I feel there should be a little gate on the area so the children can not just run out of the area.if u want to charge the same for all the children please make sure there are toys for all ages of the children to play with.....

It was ok.

When we first got there, and not knowing what we were supposed to do anyway (1st visit), we walked past the shop (where you pay) just so we could have a look at the equipment to see if my son would enjoy it (no point going in if not). A member of staff came out of the shop with "Excuse me. Have you paid?" (Knowing full well we hadn't as she was the one taking the money). I said I was just looking when she interrupted me and said "Well if you come this way, I can show you." We followed her into the shop where she stood behind the counter and just pointed outside and said "We've got go karts, houses, sandpit, and other stuff." (Yeah. Thanks for that. I could see that when I looked myself.)

My son enjoyed the bouncy things until adults got on a started doing somersaults (which I'm sure you're not allowed to do). Staff were walking by but never said anything. Ultimately resulted in my son being in tears.

I also asked a member of staff to wipe the slides as they were wet. I think he assumed I meant 1 slide as he left the other 2.

The admission price was much like any other play area but food and drinks were extortionate. I also don't understand why adults without kids get a nice cafe inside and adults with kids get a burger van (open at 9 - who eats a burger at 9am?) and chairs outside.

Unless it's during school hours, and it's warm outside, and I'm not hungry and thirst, I'd probably go again. Other than that, I can think of better places to go.
