Greenroom Description
We provide a dramatic approach to team building, creating workshops which challenge and enhance your event using a variety of techniques employed by professional actors in the rehearsal room. These workshops are all tailor made to suit your requirements and can have a specific focus on areas such as teamwork, presentation skills and speech training or even a combination of these areas.
ACTING WORKSHOPS
An acting workshop is a great way to explore voice and speech techniques as well as physical presence and posture within the individual and as part of a team. Through games, improvisation and script work your team can build self-confidence and access their own creativity. Even a brief taste of being an actor can be a very relaxing and useful experience!
STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP
With a heavy emphasis on trust, co-operation and listening, the stage combat workshop is a fun, high energy team building experience, which enables participants to explore a variety of techniques used within the theatre industry. You can learn how to convincingly punch, hit or kick your colleagues (or boss! ) without actually harming them. A great benefit to relieve the stresses of the workplace!
RENAISSANCE DANCE WORKSHOP
Learning a dance from the Tudor period is an ideal workshop activity whether you prefer the more stately dances of the Elizabethan court or an energetic, even boisterous, Morris dance. Although the actual steps of both are relatively simple, the dances rely on teamwork to achieve the formations making the activity perfect for team building as well as testing the brain cells and keeping you on your toes!

Emily was brilliant and so helpful - setting up a mock fight 'sting' to surprise the guests, followed by a stage combat workshop, which was great fun. They even shot and edited a fight scene between the stag and his future father-in-law, which went down an absolute storm during the wedding speeches."
