Regardless of how we feed our babies, we need to be sure that those selling alternatives to breastfeeding are behaving responsibly and ethically. The baby milk industry is growing...not just filling the market for parents who want or need their products, but promoting their products with claims that are untrue, and in ways which put families at risk and undermine the potential for choice from preconception onwards. This is not just happening in far away places, it's happening right here, in your towns, on your streets..please come along! Don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like any more information.

Good to know! Yes, you CAN enjoy coffee while breastfeeding.

Just in time to bring in the new year!
Goes without saying, but don't bed share after drinking, and make sure you have people around to help you with baby.
Have a great new year everyone!

Rachel’s support throughout my pregnancy has been invaluable. She is calm, professional, knowledgeable and really cares about the people she helps. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster the last few weeks due to my baby staying breech and having to go from a planned natural homebirth to making the decision to have a cesarian section has been tough. Rachel has been there to support me every step of the way. She helped me to create a new birth plan that still allows me to feel in control with her suggestions of a natural c-section. This helped me to see that I can still have the birth experience that I want, regardless of the change. Also, at our recent lactation consultation, she taught me how to express and collect some colostrum which has given me the confidence I know that my milk will be there after the c-section and I can still breastfeed my baby. I know that her continued support will ensure that I have the best chance of feeding my baby the way I want to and I honestly can’t recommend Rachel highly enough!
