ਲੱਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਕ ਗਰੀਬ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਇਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਧੀ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣ ਜੇ।ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਗੁੱਡੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਹੈ ਅੱਜ ਉਹਦਾ ਬਾਰਵੀਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਜਲਟ ਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਵਲ ਦਰਜੇ ਤੇ ਆਈ।ਲੱਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਫੇਰ ਕੇ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਦੱਸ ਧੀਏ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ ਤੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਾਪੂ ਅੱਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੈ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਬਾਪੂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਆ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਰੂ ਖੱਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੇ ਸੂਟ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਮਹਿੰਗਾ ਬੜਾ ਸੀ ਪੂਰੇ2000 ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਐਨੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਿਰਫ 235ਰੁ ਸੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸੂਟ ਦਵਾ ਦੇ।ਲੱਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹਾਮੀ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਜੋੜ ਵੀ 350 ਘਟਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿੱਦਾਂ ਵੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੱਖੇ ਨੇ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਟ ਲੈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਰਾਜ ਹੋਈ ਉਹਨੇ ਲੱਖੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਐਨੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਆਏ ਲੱਖੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਂਝ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਬਸ ਥੋੜੇ ਜੇ ਘਟਦੇ ਸੀ ਮੈਂ ਖੂਨ ਕਢਾਤਾ ਥੋੜਾ ਜਾ ਬਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ।ਮੈਂ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਵੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਨਾ ਨਾਲੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਫਸਟ ਆਈ ਆ।ਹੁਣ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਅਖਰੀਲਾ ਸਾਲ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਉਹਨੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਸੀ ਫੀਸ ਭਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਵੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੱਖੇ ਨੇ ਫੀਸ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਹਦੀ ਘਰਵਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਐਨਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਬੈਂਕ ਤਾਂ ਨੀ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਾਗਵਾਨੇ ਆਹ ਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਖੂਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹਦੇ ਵਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਦੇ ਖਰਾਬ ਸੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਗੁਰਦਾ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ । ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਆਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੀ ਐਵੇਂ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਫਿਕਰ ਕਰੂਗੀ ।ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਲੱਖੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਤਜਾਰ ਸੀ।ਅੱਜ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਆਉਣਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਬਲਜਿੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਉਹਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਆਈ ਉਹਨੇ ਆਤਮਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੱਸੋ ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਮਰਿਆ ਕੌਣ?

ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਗਵਾ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸਾਹ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਰੂਰ ਸੋਚੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੀਆ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਾਂ ਬਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਧੀ ਪੁੱਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਨੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੇ।

We would like to thank the sewadars, committee and the Gurdwara for welcoming the Hope team with open arms. We were both humbled and overwhelmed by the Sangat's reaction, love and blessings. This is the start of a journey for us and having a platform at the Gurudwara was a truly blessed start.



Our aim is to help the sangat and can only be done by working together collectively and for longer term sustainability.

Unfortunately.. this event has had to be cancelled due to the gurdwara threatening to protest such an event.. not orthodox... I personally feel for the organiser who had done a trendmendous job...

Funny how amritdari are always on the dance floor first.. motioning rude moves... so why is it that they attend functions where music is played..if it's against the practice of the religion ..?

If simplicity is the essence.. why's there a full menu that also serves chips and beenz...pizza..and so on... drive flash cars...issues with funds missing that Sangat have raised..Why can't the communities answer public questions... cause arguments if asked..last week when costs were told on Sunday that the gurdwara have.. one was council tax (business tax)..!!!! Places of worship are 100% exempt of this tax.. but the Sangat are paying for this ..as for where the pati stay .. question this is a paid job they get paid..from Sangat donations.. Why is that we also pay for where they live...but they eat and drink at the gurdwara..and have minimum living costs..but the Sangat pay there council tax...???.

I'm all for religion.. but we need to speak up..

My post will upset some people..

But it's called freedom of speech..

in my opinion it's all a mega business...

I am not apologetic about this post...

Today I have seen some videos relating to the recent events at a well known Wolverhampton Gurdwara. I am disgusted. Disgusted with people, disgusted how they have allowed people to walk around without covered heads, disgusted at the fact that the police were asking people to leave. The man that had a knife - well you should be ashamed, you look 70 years old, what on earth were you proving? Most importantly, why are these things happening in our places of worship that we respect and should be proud of. Sikhi has come a long way but some have started to taint it. Wake up young and old and stop this. I want to feel safe when I go there, not wondering when the next punch up is going to be. If I want to see that, I can go to town on a Saturday night. I once witnessed two grown men arguing because one accidently banged into another and he dropped his pizza!! That says it all. I thought I was at the Gurdwara not a creche. When the riots were happening, our people stood outside guarding and protecting the Guru Granth Sahib so whats changed? The Gurdwara is not about you or me or the patti, its about the Guru Granth Sahib remember that.
