Functional: 30 min gym class using the functional area & rig to provide a workout. Functional training exercises encourage muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by stimulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sport. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional exercises also help promote core stability. Why not give it a go! Come & join the gym team Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 9:30am & Thurdays at 7am!

The determination from these guys this morning was amazing! When they arrived at Old Hill Cricket Club for their C25K, it was cold and raining. Some told the team they really didn't want to leave the house but were so pleased that they did. 110 people turned up this wet Sunday morning. Our C25K group are now heading in to week 3 and they are doing so so well. #therainneverbotheredusanyway #teamc25k #teamhhlc

User

User

Samantha the swimming instructor is absolutely amazing. You are a credit to Hayden Hill! My son has Sam as his swimming instructor and he absolutely loves his swimming lessons and is thriving. It’s lovely to watch to see him progressing so much and enjoy his swimming while learning a life skill. Thank you Sam for your time and patience. Would highly recommend Sam as a swimming instructor.

Love this place. I come 5 times a week switching between classes, steam & sauna and swimming. It's child friendly and I love Splash time for my little girl. Family swim is great for when her dad tags along!

Staff and the people here and so friendly its a good place. One card membership is so worth it for regular fitness freaks like me!

User

Love this place! Get a really buzz after a visit there. Enjoyed lots of 1:1 sessions, learnt so much about weights after having my two children I've felt really supported in becoming fit and healthy, Kirk has gone the extra mile to help. Friendly staff. Mash up on a Friday night is a must!

User

User

Love Haden Hill, one of my new favourite places to go, after recovering from cancer last year, the staff have been fantastic in helping me get back into my stride, so friendly and lots of classes to choose from, a big thank you to all the instructors who have been helping me get back to where I was, my confidence is much better and am already seeing results even though I have only been back since Christmas.

User

Joined haden hill about 7 weeks ago since giving up smoking i needed my frustration taking out on something. I didn't think i would use it that much as i was a bit worried about going on my own. But i gotta say so far i have been going about 5 times a week and im loving it. Staff are very friendly and helpful and if i don't fancy gym there is a lot of classes to choose from

User

I've been going to the gym a long time now, the staff are really welcoming and really encourage you to keep fit. In the past I've had one on one sessions with Liz griffin and Hayley Birch. At first I was worried incase I was training the wrong things as I do suffer with a knee injury. They both advised what to do best and fits in perfect with my gym sessions. Other than been busy outside the gym when I do get to go to I attend Liz's classes on a Tuesday which are good fun and a good stress relief after a hard day in the office. Since eating healthy and keeping fit it's a good environment to be in keep up the good work guys and gals

User

I've been comin to this gym for almost 3 years now. When I started I was a lot larger than I am now and with the excellent help of the gym staff I've not only lost loads of weight I've kept it off and built up confidence in myself that's made me realise I can achieve things I never thought I could. The gym staff listen to you, give you brilliant advice and continuously push you. The effort they put in to classes and personal training sessions and to helping people improve themselves is second to none and not a quality you get at most gyms. They genuinely care about bettering people's health and it's a gym I would recommend to everyone!

User

I've been a member for a few months. I concentrated on using the gym equipment in the beginning but now I've found the confidence to join a class. Clubbercise is so much fun, dancing around to 90's music with a couple of glow sticks whilst trying to keep up with the instructer I'll definitely do it again. The dance studio was packed which just added to the atmosphere. The hour went by so quick. Can't wait till next week

User

I love Haden Hill but hadn't been for sometime despite continuing my membership, I went with a friend who is recovering from a life saving operation the experience left us both a little stunned really.

We arrived early to give us plenty of time and perhaps see Natalie to discuss what my friend was able to do in Aqua fit , we got changed and made our way to the pool there were children in the pool doing lane swimming which was a pleasure to watch . Unfortunately after 10 mins we were approached by a life guard who said it was private swimming and we were not allowed to sit and watch and the lady on reception had misinformed us. Admittedly there were lots of adults there watching the kids but we were made to feel like some kind of perverts we had no where to go unless we got changed to sit in reception so we waited inside of a cubicle for 45 mins until we were allowed to enter the poolside.

I understand that this day and age there are people who do horrid things to children and there is more awareness now than ever, but two women in costumes innocently watching doesn't mean that we were doing anything wrong. My friend works in a School all day long with children but the experience left us quite depleted the only saving grace was that Natalie was as good as she always was and the class gave us the lift we needed to help us kick start our fitness journey .

Moral of the story don't go early , get changed 10 mins prior to your lesson and don't sit watching the kids innocently. We will return but we will be very cautious in the future .

I enjoy going to the leisure centre, staff are helpful, could do with going more often when I have the time.Didnt think I would step into a gym but I was determined I would go and after 10 months I have lost weight to date roughly just over the 2 st mark with go gym and changing bad foods for the more healthy opinions still have a cheat day or nite I am more determined now to keep going.Would recommend going to the leisure centre.

User

I could do with an extra couple of days in the week so I can go more often

User

Having given up smoking and putting on weight I decided to do something about it. I joined just before Christmas and use the pool at least once a week, which can get a bit crowded. This week I joined the yoga glass and really enjoyed it so will be doing that each week. I'm also joining the BLT class on Tuesday. That's the great thing about Haden Hill - there's something for everyone. Plus it's something you can do on your own if you want, everyone is friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic value if you buy the pass

User

Fantastic facilities and very clean too. Had a great swim and can't wait to go again soon.

My children (age 8 and 10 years) attended the pool inflatable (with slide) session over the Feb half term. Dont bother as they do more standing on the side than they actually get on the inflatable or in the pool. My daughter was turned away as she wears prescription goggles, no one advised that goggles could not be worn and my son had 4 turns on the inflatable in the 40 minute session which in total lasted about 30 seconds because if they fell off at the start they couldn't get back on. There were just to many children as only 1/2 were aloud on at a time, so far to much just standing around. The kids aren't aloud in the pool either if they just want to have a swim. One of the worst sessions we have been to which is a shame as its a good overall leisure centre otherwise.
