This is the 1st stage of our red wine making process, enabling us to extract the tannin and colour from the skins, which gives our range of red wines their depth of taste and colour. What a little gem this is, always a big advocate of supporting local businesses and this place will be getting lots of my support!!! Only wish they would serve the drinks instant at the till instead of waiting 15 minutes , we would have stayed for another drink if it wasn’t for the delay. The wine is lovely and I will certainly be back for more x

We visited for the first time yesterday. Even though the venue was very busy, we were found a table and our orders were take quite quickly. The drinks order was with us within a couple of minutes and our food order within about 10. The food was good, value for money and the staff were polite even if they were running around like idiots in order to try and serve everyone and keep everyone happy. All in all, very good and will visit again.

We really enjoyed our wine tasting. Thank you Gavin and Sophie for treating us and thank you Tom for all the information and a great time. Highly recommendable

We had a fantastic day at the food and wine festival . Hope there’s going to be another.

We came yesterday for lunch I had the crab sandwich it was amazing my son and his partner and friend had the fish goujons they said were lovely too. I visited the deli for some refill oils and vinegar and cheese the lady was very helpful. I had to buy the three wines for £20 ideal for presents or just for ourselves. Look forward to visiting again. Love the refurbishment.

That cream tea is so nice will be definitely be going back again it was warm big and so tasty very nice

Sean (or maybe Shaun?), from Halfpenny Green (or maybe he’s from California) took us and our guests through a fabulous wine tasting of really great wines with his lovely Scottish accomplice from Saint Andrew’s doing the cheese. Highly recommend this lovely local experience.

Me and my friend did the Wine and Cheese tasting on Saturday . It was lovely so relaxing told a lot of information about the different wine's , we didn't feel rushed and even with people walking around didn't feel disturbed by then . We tasted couple cheeses never had before . Would like to say thank you to Helen our guide on Saturday such a nice lady very helpful x. We did buy wine and Cheese as a result of the experience , would definitely recommend others to book this . Thank you xxx

I go with my friend Mavis every month for lunch the staff r lovely we r treated as part of the family especially with Laura and Fran who have always been very helpful xx

Had a fantastic wine tasting course and lunch to celebrate a mixture of occasions. All the staff were lovely especially Helen who put up with us during the wine tasting!!

Been here loads of times yes it's expensive but I'm a great believer you get what you pay for and will keep going back

We went for breakfast and a lovely walk really early this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it before it goes too busy . Beautiful setting � the staff and the service we received was lovely. Can’t wait to visit again !

Well I can only give this 3 stars on account of our visit yesterday for Mother's Day. We were disappointed that we had to wait 35 minutes for someone to take our order, there were only 2 of us, I appreciate they were busy but having already been the previous 2 years on Mother's Day & never had to wait that long ...I honestly think we were forgotten about as other tables came in after us & were seen within 10 minutes. As always though the staff were friendly & the food really good

We have been here a few times now and have received good service , but today we ordered a glass of wine which we thought would compliment my husband's meal, after a good 10 minutes later I had to call over a member of staff for the second time and cancel it as my husband had finished his meal, the annoying thing was other people who had ordered after us had received there drinks , very disappointed.

I booked afternoon tea as a surprise for my mom and mother-in-law for mother's day . Half an hour before we was due to arrive my mother-in-law fell ill and we had to take her to hospital. I called straight away to cancel and asked if we could book it for next week , only to be told that we could but i would lose my £15 deposit . As I didn't want to lose my money and didn't want the afternoon tea without my mother-in-law, me and my mom decided to ask them if we could use the deposit for some lunch which they said we could . Lunch was very nice . I really couldn't see what harm it would have done , I did nt want my money back I just wanted to re-book for the following week, because of this I am now not returning for the afternoon tea I will go elsewhere as I think this was really bad .
