first time here and the way we have been treated you would think we have been coming for years , so so freindly from the owners and the staff , loverly traditional pub that have high standards down to every detail .....oh and the beer and food is fantastic.

This is what every country pub should be like - roaring log fire, hot drinks, friendly people and an amazing old building. What more could you ask for on a freezing winters day! Oh and if you get carried away with the ales they have some fantastic rooms with stunning views and huge comfy beds! Definitely recommend it! ��

Loved an evening by a roaring fire in cold February. A great friendly staff looked after us and presented lovely meals. A little bit of what rural pub England does best. Liked this a lot.
