Our breeding policy whether it be for pure or part Morgans, Coloured, TBs or ponies is always to breed the best possible equine as regards conformation and movement but most importantly of all is to breed a horse or pony with a superb temperament. My first pony of my own dear Pippin probably just 4 yrs me about 9yrs with brother Ed on a still wild Bowdler bred pony & Uncle George on his ex circus horse with a good hunting seat & cap to save his head....how things have changed except that Pippin was a little so & so out hunting & am still seeking my perfectly mannered hunter!
One for the oldies among us dear Whisky Go Go 40 years ago nearly to the day VERY nearly winning the very prestigious Greenham Hurdle Newbury beaten just into 2nd by Ekblaco who went on to win very big races both started at 33/1 that is the Waterford glass Whisky didn't quite win mum never ever got over that! What a star he was for us

Big sadness this wonderful talented little mare probably the most talented I have bred (Mossrose Triumphant dam was Ffion Hibbards Sam) who recently lost her fight with laminitis & its problems while in foal. a double whammie for her devoted owner Ffion who had ridden her to such great success up to Advanced in the heady eventing circles. Such a loss & still so young....
Another spiffing Kington Show couldn't have been better in one day Snakes & Ladders won more prize money than he did 5 years eventing he was Reserve Ridden Hunter Champion to his sister Hokey Cokey her last ridden show. A wonderful finish to her ridden career.Next year she will hopefully be a proud mother. Their nephew Tarrochino was unstoppable winning In Hand Champion Overall Hunter Champion beating Aunty Hokey (beautifully ridden by Zara) he was then Overall Horse Champion for the 2nd year & then up against tough opposition from a Welsh Black Bull & a sheep was Reserve Overall Show Champion to the bloomin' bull!!
