Sorry everyone, the data on the phone we were using for the live dropped out and despite trying we can’t get it back. We were luckily very near the end of the tour anyway. If you do have any further questions for Henry or Georgie, just write them here and we’ll be sure to ask them. Thank you for joining us for the tour.

A year ago today Tom Alexander opened his A-level results to find out he hadn't got the grades to study the course at Harper that he'd applied for.
After a deep breath and looking at his various options, he realised that he could still come to Harper, on an alternative route; the Extended Foundation Degree Programme (EFDP).
He applied to the programme via Clearing and was successful. He's now completed his first year at Harper and has loved his time so far. For his full inter...view, click here: https://youtu.be/As9zMMmEGYQ
For information on the EFDP visit: https://www.harper-adams.ac.uk/cours…/u ndergraduate/efdp.cfm
The Harper Clearing hotline is 01952 81 5000 and is open today from 8am - 7pm.

Clearing isn't just for those who are receiving their results this year; it can also help those who may have been out of education for a while gain the degree they want.
Harry Buckley didn't get the best of A-level grades, but at that point in his life, he didn't think it'd really affect him as he was about to go and live in Australia. A few years later though, he had to leave the country he loved because he didn't have a degree.
On returning to the UK, he applied to Harper v...ia Clearing to study agriculture, an area that he learnt he wanted to build a career in while in Australia.
After speaking to Course Manager Russell Readman, he was given an unconditional offer to study FdSc Agriculture and Mechanisation.

Harper Adams University entomology student Max Tercel’s Master’s paper looking at insect flight has been published in the journal Physiological Entomology.
Max’s approach to this study was unique compared to previous work in this area as he videoed all of the insects included in his investigation with a slow motion camera; and the footage looks amazing!

The Hands Free Hectare harvest has begun! Only a bit first to test everything out, and some tweaks are needed before the big day in a couple of weeks, but it's so great to see it running again.

The National Centre for Precision Farming at Harper Adams University and XAG, one of the world’s largest drone and robot company, have recently formed a strategic academic and research partnership.
Justin Gong, Co-Founder and Vice President of XAG, said: “As the strategic partnership has been officially established, I am sincerely looking forward to the collaborations between XAG and Harper Adams University to develop localised done and robotic solutions which suit the UK and... European farmers.
“We hope our technology can equally serve UK and European farmers, to help them improve productivity using sensors mounted on the drones to monitor the condition of the crop and subsequently only applying the chemical precisely on area requiring treatment.
“In addition, we would like to devote more on researching about AI technologies and ground-based robots to free farmers’ hands, also to accelerate the popularisation of drone application. With HAU’s research strengths on agriculture and sustainable farming, I believe we can make the most of our potentials.”

We were at the open day yesterday. My Daughter is hoping to go there September 2018 to do Vetinary nursing. Met some lovely staff and students. Was impressed with the facilities too. The only thing I was disappointed with is the range of animals, although many, were much less than they have at Salford College where she currently attends. I would be more than happy for her to make this University her first Choice. Thanks for a great and informative visit :-)

We were at Harper Adams for their Open Day in Oct 2016. The welcome was excellent and the day was well planned. We were very impressed with facilities and the campus is beautiful. My daughter is excited to apply to Harper to study veterinary nursing and feels she would spend a very happy 4 years here.

We attended the open day on Sat 13th May for our Son to start in Sept 18 after his travels.

It was well worth the 3 hour drive. We were very impressed with the organisation of the day, the facilities are very modern and the research that is going on to anable farming to move forward is important.

The Staff were very professional and approachable. We found the students helpful, friendly and were keen to tell us how happy they are there. The Farm is right on your doorstep too. Students told us other Ag uni sites use a bus to get to the farm.

We spoke to students on the football desk, and they really interacted with my Son too. Nice lads. My Son came away excited and said Harper Adams will be first choice. It had a very nice welcoming feel.

We attended the open day on 16th October. Beautiful location and the staff and students were very welcoming.

Was there for an out of term event (dog show) and the facilities were great. Great grounds to exercise them in and really nice feel to the place. Happily stay there again.

Top class university delivering industry relevant courses in a very practical way. I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy and have learned more from the practical oriented approach employed in course delivery.

My daughter attended the Harper Adams Experience and loved every minute. The campus is laid out for easy access and all the facilities are great. There is definitely a "family" feel to Harper Adams and she's looking forward (with fingers crossed) to being a member of that family next year.
