Went for my grandson 5th birthday meal , lovely food brilliant friendly staff every member of staff who came passed my grandson wished him happy birthday deffo be going back again �

Went for a meal with my partner the staff were kind and polite an the food came quick would deffinately return i had a tripple combo an she had the cowboy burger which looked very filling.

My daughter had her birthday party here today in Fuzzy Eds & what a fab time was had by all. The party hostess was so lovely & went above & beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed. Thank you so much for making my little girls special day amazing.

Just visited on Sunday afternoon , we did wait a short while to have our order taken, food arrived not long after and I was really impressed, partner had the large mixed grill, eggs were perfect and all food cooked nicely , they did forget the steak but once it was pointed out they quickly returned with it. I had the beef rib with veg, it was lovely. First time we have visited and we will again.

I can’t put into words what Scott and the team did for us on Thursday 26th July. It was the day of my grandads funeral and the place we booked for his wake had let us down so we decided to go to the Harvester Castle Gate Dudley. We walked in explained what had happened and they couldn’t do enough for us. We ordered food for around 30 of us it was lovely and service was second to none .. I can’t thank them enough for what they did that day.

Had a great meal with the family tonight. Food was excellent and will definitely be returning. Lovely friendly staff too with special thanks to Jake who was both charming and professional �

Even though there were some problems with the meals, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly and happy to help - especially Scott, very good customer service. And food was beautiful after the problems were fixed swiftly.

It was OK ,Very busy food over cooked particularly the chips , Burger was good,Salad was good, You pay your money you take your chance, Sweet was good .

First time at this harvester. Not overly impressed. Booked in advance and when we arrived could not find the booking. The restaurant was cold. Limited salad compared to the kingwinford harvester. Did not enjoy my meal. Had the 83 combo. Ribs had no meat on them and was dry. Chicken had blood on the wing which I was told was fine and my baileys sundae was missing items. Doubt I'll be back in an hurry. Shame really. As a nice looking restaurant and pleasant staff

The food wasn’t very nice I think they left the jacket potatoe in the microwave a bit to long staff was ok but kept us waiting would only go there again for a drink not food 👎

My wife and I have visited the Harvester at Castlegate Dudley on several previous occasions with no complaints, that was until some weeks ago, when on this occasion my wife and I took her brother to eat there one evening as a treat, my brother in law ordered sea bass my wife ordered chicken I ordered rump steak.

The chicken and the sea bass arrived but there was no sign of my rump steak.

After about 5 to 10 minutes I asked a waitress where my order was she apologised and left to find out returning a five minutes later with my missing steak meal.

I started to eat but the meal was stone cold" after pointing this out it was taken away and replaced about 10 minutes later by which time my wife had almost finished but my brother in law said the sea bass was inedible as it was smothered in a very spicey salsa masking the delicate sea bass flavour and was very over - cooked, and to add insult to injury my replacement rump steak was tough as old boots it was supposed to be medium cooked but I couldn't chew it as it was mostly fat and grissle. The poor food quality and poor service was pointed out but was greeted with "Sorry about that" would you like a free soft drink!? We declined, paid in full and left.

However, my wife and I decided to give Harvester Castlegate Dudley another go last night hoping our last experience was just a one off, bad move bad decision! The food quality has not improved one jot!

Again my wife ordered chicken and I ordered rump steak thinking they can't mess it up again surely?

I asked for it to be cooked medium again but again it was tough as old boots and blood was running out as I cut it!

When the waitress asked if the meal was ok I apologised and pointed out the bloody steak and she saw the blood running out saying, "that's not very good" and adding that it would be replaced, it was, 10 minutes later, but the steak was of very poor quality. We paid and left!

My wife and i do not usually complain but in this instance we are!

In conclusion I would say the kitchen staff have no idea how to select & prepare good quality steaks or indeed care, nor cook them correctly.

It not the first bad meal there but it will be the last 'EVER!'

Would we recommend Harvester Castlegate Dudley? NO NEVER AGAIN! Sorry you've had your last chance!

Im writing this review sitting here ! we were seated on time , but the food is really poor ! Jacket potatoe was so hard and so was the rice , chicken burnt , soft drinks tasted horrible ! Salad bar n sauces were not great either .. Its so cold in here aswell ... the only good thing about the visit is our waitress is lovely !!!! Not sure if they are overly busy or we came at wrong time but it really is very poor we were absolutely starving else we would have left the lot 2bh .. sorry harvester !

I think it is the worst harvester i have ever been to. Will never recomend it. I have had weight loss surgery due to health reasons. Asked for a small plate to share my partners meal so the waiter very loudly repeated it, not once but twice. The food arrived but not my plate so i went and got one of the side plates, 5 minutes later when everyone was half way through there food they bought me a BIG spare plate to which i told them no thank you. So what did the waiter do again nice n loud are you sure you dont want the spare plate... THANK YOU Dudley Harvester for making me feel very small. Thank you for such a horrible experience

been here a few times but yesterday put a dampener on going again , we arrived at 5pm had a few drinks before eating , said to a young lad at the bar can we book a table for later plz he said what time for we said around 7pm he said it will be fine we’re not normally busy on a tuesday night just come over when your ready and i’ll make sure we seat you , we went over around 6.35 pm and got told there was a 30 minute wait , we explained how the young lad said we didn’t need to book and he said It had become busy with walk ins , we had brought a bottle of wine thinking we were staying there for the meal too which we couldn’t

take anywhere else , the lad who took our complaint didn’t seem bothered at all until we said it wasn’t acceptable he then proceeded to give us a refund on the bottle of wine , we were grateful of this but very disappointed with how this was all handled , not sure if I will return in future

Went for breakfast , Very disappointing the unlimited buffet we had ask for items to be refilled orange juice & milk , no selection of buffet 2 different boxes of cereal no pancakes, pastries as they have before. The staff were rude and very unprofessional . The cooked breakfast that arrived had items missing that we had to request . Bacon was burnt and fatty . £32 for a breakfast for four !! Will not be going again , and wouldn’t recommend , stick to your local Wetherspoons breakfast , great value & quality food . Very disappointed harvester I’m surprised it’s still open 😡😡😡

The food was very good, however, the service was not good at all. Firstly we waited a long time for a waitress to come over. Secondly, when I ordered what I thought would have been a free drink from the Harvester App, (which the waitress assured me would be free), we came to pay our bill for the waitress to then tell us that the drink was not free because we had ordered a children's meal deal and that it could not be used with other deals. I think she needs some training as to what deals are applicable. Thirdly, upon checking our receipt, she had actually given us someone else's bill!!! We then had to tell her all over again what we had ordered so that we could get the correct bill. Service was appalling to be honest. This Harvester was recommended to me too. No problem with the food at all though.

Staff are absolutely half-soaked and thats putting it nicely, i ordered a steak well done and its came out with blood squirting out of it, as soon as i went to cut it, ice cream is like you have ordered a bowl of water and i've witnessed the use by dates on their own-made sauces and mayonnaise being scraped off and replaced with dates over a week away being put on them! Makes you wonder what they are doing in the kitchen if this is what's done in front of you�Think I'll be sticking to other restaurants, on the complex ,next time!!

Food was rubbish 50 waste yack defo won't go again always enjoyed harvester but this one has put me and my family off for life �

Could not believe the awful service here. Came by at 5.30 with a hungry 2 year old. Car park half empty, restaurant half full, tried to order a meal through the bar for my 2 year old son, only to be told no food being served as there was a 45 min wait. I tried to explain I'd be happy to wait, we were 3 hours from home still and my son needed food, but was told to leave as they would not even take my order. Ended up in a MC d next door, not what we wanted but at least gave us a welcome and a dinner
