We stayed in Rugby over the weekend as we went to the Christmas market and Cadbury world and ended up here for breakfast yesterday (Sunday 19 Nov) it was brilliant! We did the 'all in' option as the 2 men have massive appetites and the 2 women are fussy eaters the food came quickly was hot and tasty we helped ourselves to juice and tea/coffee and made our own toast which meant that was nice and hot too. Good range of cereal and yoghurt and a good price. The staff were really friendly and not too intrusive. Would definitely go back there if I am in the area

We had a very pleasant visit here last night. A group of 7 ladies all seated very quickly. Food arrived with no problems except a missing egg which was soon corrected. The young girl who served was very efficient. Forgot to get her name. ( Kelly parkes daughter)

We came here for dinner on the 25th June, we had a little wait for someone to show us a table, but once seated Taylor came over and introduced himself, Food and Drinks were spot on no faults at all, Thank you Taylor for your service you are a gem to the harvester �

I had a very good experience here at The Harvester , I had very Good service from the waitress Emma, she was very good and friendly. I had my cooked breakfast and that was very good. :) Enjoyed it :)



I plan to go back, as not been for ages. :)

Had a lovely meal and the waiter Taylor was just amazing, so helpful and friendly, puddings were delicious �

Does what it says on the tin. Food was nice but it was our server who really made the visit worth while. Tibia was attentive & engaging. A real credit to Rugby Harvester. Top notch! �

Attended the harvester yesterday, had a brilliant meal hats off to the chef and the service was brilliant by Tibia well done all. Even better refills are back �

Visited yesterday lunchtime after a long absence of eating here, it was not busy at all but I felt service was a little slow main meals are expensive although there is a early bird menu but not much choice on it, having said all that our meals were very nice and the staff were friendly so we will return at some point.

Over the years me and my family use to come quite regularly, then we decided to change and visit other places out to eat. More recently we decided to come back here as previous there were issues where the food as perfect, yet it kept making my mum poorly so we stopped coming here. In the last couple of weeks we have been here three/four times, there have been a lot of different things change, like the General Manager has changed on so many occasions, in the last few visits alone, I have noticed 4 General Managers come and go, what’s happening here? Why are so many staff leaving? Other than that, the service we have received when been here has been good, yet I’m afraid to say the staffing levels are poor and it’s not fair on the two waitresses who are on from an early start, think you need to get that sorted out!!

We have been coming here for years,so it is sad to have to give a bad review,we turned up the sat with 2 friends for my wife’s Birthday the kitchen was on fire,not there fault,we were told to let them know when we return they will make sure they would look after us,well sat 21/10,we were waiting nearly 10 mins before any one came out to us to be seated,then further 10 mins before our drink order was taken,we both ordered the combo,15 mins later we were told they had run out of chicken,this was 21.10: so we ordered the full rack of ribs,21.35 they came out my wife’s was nice and hot and meat looked nice,how ever for some reason mine was Luke warm to cold,meat was pink,chips cold,we asked not to have corn on cob but mixed veg we got the cob yuk and no mixed veg,mine went back,it came out 10 mins later,piping hot but meat was still pink,by this time I was fed up and ate it,but this has to be the worst we will take care of you I have ever had to put up with,yes we got %20 discount for the previous sat but I do feel they did not look after us,how ever the staff were friendly Lydia especially could not apologise enough not her fault if kitchen can’t get the orders right or make sure items are available,I am sorry to put a bad review but you let your selves down,and it spoilt our night out.

It could be much better, food is good but the time you wait for it is unbelievable, we booked and no one care about it, we wait 10 min to someone ask is what we want after we seat and 1 hour to receive the food after we order, the only good thing is the salad bar other wise we wouldn't be going there .

Shame to leave this review but visited today, my Sister and I both had the ribs, worse ribs ever!!!! Not cooked enough and too chewy, shame as the staff were lovely except when we mentioned how bad the ribs are we just got a sorry

Picture the scene .... Saturday night 8.30pm Read the menu and how the rotisserie was on all day , everyday so that people could have their chicken anytime they wanted .

Great I thought and ordered the chicken rib combo .... only to be told 10 minutes later that they had run out of chicken !!

So second choice of jerk ribs with corn and chunky coleslaw .... no corn and I kid you not .... a teaspoon of coleslaw

Waiting staff are over familiar and almost intrusive , yes we all know why you do it ... well tips are not a given even if you do crouch down and pretend to be interested in my day

To sum it up .. overpriced and underwhelmed

Not been for ages after a bad experience. Tried it last night and they have stopped doing soft drink refills and are now charging 2.70 for a pint of coke. Stopped Strongbow and are charging 4.05 for the equivalent. My meal had to be part replaced as the chicken was luke warm at best. Prices are now on the expensive side for the quality. Over 33 quid for 2 burger meals and 2 drinks. Will stick with the steam turbine. Better deals and cheaper drinks

Recently we went there for breakfast. The place was cold, we waited forever for our food which was inedible. The hash brown were cooked in ancient oil and you could taste it. Eggs were like bullets. We left and had breakfast elsewhere. Couldn't have been worse.

Extremely poor, wouldn't recommend & wont be going back there! Mum ordered her steak to be cooked medium to well done-when it came it was rare!! The plate was covered in blood as she cut through the steak, we complained to the waitress who was very pleasant & apologised & took it back. Other 3 meals were just ok, nothing fantastic. When mums fresh steak came out it was definitely cooked better but was full of grissle! Informed the waitress & her reply was that sometimes they get bits of steak like that-it's not something the chef can do anything about, well I disagree if that's the case you need to change your supplier as nobody expects to pay for a steak that's full of fat, I bet if my mum had 2 mouthfuls of her steak that's all she had! We weren't the only ones complaining, there were tables around us & they were all complaining about their meals! There is clearly a problem so I would recommend anybody to stay away until they employ a new chef!! & a Manager that dare reprimand their staff as we heard our waitress say to the Manager " you ve got to get on at them otherwise they will take the mickey". We dared to have a sweet & chose Hot Cherry pie with custard, well my Mums was stone cold & her custard & mine was luke warm! Needless to say that went back too, how difficult is it to heat a cherry pie for goodness sake. The amount of food that went back on plates said it all too. A really lovely place & waitress was lovely just shame about everything else!!

Don’t bother! Cold food chicken was like eating rubber! As was the chorizo!

Chips were stone cold and small portions and very over priced!

And why have you stopped doing the refills on soft drinks! More ways of making money!

Definitely won’t be going back there in a hurry!!!

The menu is very limited not much choice at all! Be good if there was a Sunday meal option but no nothing!!

The waitress was very good and took the meal off my bill. She did offer to replace my meal but by the time the food would of arrived my family would of finished there’s!

Booked a table for tea tonight as knew it would be busy being Mother's Day. Had to wait 25 minutes. The waitress was dreadful, did not have a clue about service. I asked for soda refill and was told they don't do them anymore. I asked why as so many places do now. She said they are trialling it, and it's healthier not to have it. What???? No more like they make more money by not having it as u have to buy more drinks. Drinks took forever to come and had to ask for them. Salad bar was half empty. So much food on floor and kids crawling about in it. Lots of big parties so quite loud. What was interesting was how much food was left on the plates being cleared away. Defo a sign food is not good.

Food eventually came. Sent my jacket potato back twice as it was awful. First one the potato was dried out as been cut open and left under heater. Second one the potato inside was black which the chef would have seen when he cut it open. My chicken breast smelt very dodgy. Such a disappointment on what was a special day today. Won't be going back. They have definitely give down hill both with service and quality of food but prices have gone up. Use to be a good place to eat at a reasonable price. Not now!!!!
