Went for my friends birthday this morning for breakfast and it was fantastic! Service was excellent. Lots of variety of food and drinks and great value for money. Definitely going to be telling friends/Family about our experience and returning very soon. Wish I'd of got the waitresses name as she was lovely! Thank you

Popped into the Shrewsbury restaurant and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic, for once it was nice to eat in an establishment were the staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, top job done by all, thank you!

Great food and amazing service been for a meal for my little mans birthday and all staff welcoming and great with the children especially Rachel. Will definitely be back again soon x

Came in for breakfast this morning.. great choice to choose from.. fantastic for the money and very tasty.. walked out of there very happy.. will definitely come back again

M/R steak was tough, calamari was overcooked and coated in a very greasy batter and half chicken cooked but very watery. Not up to normal Harvester standard :-(

went yesterday 16th april 4 lunch as it was a birthday treat 4 my partner. i had the rump steak with chips and he had the bbq chicken stack meal. my steak was cold and the chips were soft. the 1 mushroom i had was all dried up and i had 1 small tomatoe. dont think ill be going there again 2 be honest. the only good thing was the service was quick. didnt have time 2 eat our salad 4 a starter though!!

Very long wait on mains (over an hour) semi raw prawns, missing starter, 5 and a baby squeezed into a booth for 4. No steaks! The only good things were it was very clean and the waitress very apologetic offering two comp drinks. Hence 2 stars or it’d be 1!

Nice food, service could of been better, lacking in staff and one was interviewing and taken off the floor. Salad bar stand was broken so she said she would " sort it out " but I had to go back up and ask and see if there was any salad coming out..poor communication. Not a very enjoyable experience to be honest.

I have been to other harvesters and enjoyed but I have to say I find this one disappointing. The chicken is good, but the meal as a whole is underwhelming. Tonight they were also out of a good deal of things, including the salad bar - one of the things that sets them aside from others. The desserts were better (although again out of certain things). I’m afraid the place wouldn’t be my first choice when eating out.

went last night, we booked a table for 6 but ended up with 2 extra guests so happily sat in the bar instead of the intended table-no problems there, we ordered at the bar again no issue- what was the issue was, after an hour wait for food we had to enquire where it was, it then came out and yes the food was good but 3 meals were wrong. Nobody came to see if our meals were ok, we did complain and fair enough we got a good discount on the meals but service both for food and at the bar was shocking- at least 10min waits for being served at the bar each rounf- we left after 10pm and our plates had only just been cleared away.The only reason we didn't leave earlier was we were visiting family and it would of been difficult to get in anywhere else at that time on a Saturday night.



What was also disappointing was to see other customers going away unhappy- a family had waited over an hour to be served and one of their meals never arrived, another young couple with a little girl came for their BOOKED table at about 9- the kitchen was closed early at 8pm, It needs more staff urgently

Bob the young man who was front of house and the gent behind the bar had a tough job last night and am sure they were fed up with having to deal with all the issues

Walked out of this establishment for the SECOND time. The first experience was awful but after a few months we gave it another go and after standing 20mins waiting to even be acknowledged we left AGAIN. We were greeted by a member of staff drinking a pint telling us she had finished work and the girl at the bar looked like she was at a funeral! Won't bother again.

Thought my meal was presented well. Started tucking into my tea and then discovered My chicken was raw in the middle. I went to tell someone and their excuse was “it was up to temperature” which I replied “if it was up to temperature then it would be cooked. This is unacceptable. I’d had a few mouthfuls already by this point so if I get Ill with salmonella then someone will be in trouble. Will never come back that’s for sure.

Simply ordered the classic burger and then waited 40 minutes and no meal arrived. So quite rightly explained to a waitress and asked where the order was. I was then told abruptly and patronisingly that it wasant a fast food place, it’s cooked fresh so it takes time.... (You don’t say!? 40 mins though?) then I was told that the order hadnt even been placed in the first place? Sure, mistakes happen all the time and if the waitress wasant so patronising I wouldn’t have been so frustrated. Avoid. Credit to the host on at the time who Is trying keep the place together. 👏🏾

Food looked microwaved, coffee was freezing no crumpets and no longer have pancakes on the all in menu for breakfast yet your prices have gone up. I was disgusted with the awful service

Me and my friend popped in today for lunch. Granted there were a few customers but nothing too unmanageable. We waited to be seated with staff walking past numerous times ignoring us. Not only were we waiting, but there were also two families with young children behind us waiting too. It had been 20 minutes when a lady waiting behind us decided to find a member of staff so we could be sat down. The waitress then said to her that they were not taking any more customers as they were supposedly busy. That took 20 minutes to find out and nobody had the decency to tell us that. We won't be returning any time soon as the customer service was very poor

Secondly, starters to main had a good 30-40minute wait. The original combo is what myself and my husband ordered, not with a side order of chocolate mousse! The "gravy" came out in a small cup which once turned upside down the "gravy" was stuck in the bottom � just what you want! Then, another 25 minute wait for pudding to then be told the pudding we ordered nearly 2 hours ago is out of stock. Every child wants to hear that! Our table wasn't cleared throughout courses until we asked if it could be. Awful customer service! The only helpful member was a young man who was "in training" (no name on badge apart from this) and a young girl called Yasmin. The manager saw us waiting and didn't do anything and saw the gravy and said nothing. Very helpful. Won't be going back again. I suggest if your ever on limited time.. not to bother!

Had to send our meals back as they were horrible chicken breast like a rubber sole jacket potato like a rock and the veg came out on the plate with the bag it was microwaved in and the gravy was like dirty waster. Kids meals was just as bad sausages raw chips under cooked. Very disappointed but the staff was all friendly and helpful.

Dreadful service today. Very short staffed. No cutlery, no condiments, no one asking if our meal was fine. Meal was average. Female waitress looking bored, rolling her eyes to me over a poor customer who was struggling at the till. Queuing to pay to then be told by the same waitress that she needed to do something else, leaves the till & then proceeds to serve a table instead! I won't be returning...

Disappointing meal as sirloin very fatty and undercooked. Told waitress who was very sorry but said another table had complained about the sirloin the same day. Did take £8 off the bill however, didn’t eat a lot as put off, was still charged £11. Won’t be visiting again.

M/R steak was tough, calamari was overcooked and coated in a very greasy batter and half chicken cooked but very watery. Not up to normal Harvester standard :-(

Very long wait on mains (over an hour) semi raw prawns, missing starter, 5 and a baby squeezed into a booth for 4. No steaks! The only good things were it was very clean and the waitress very apologetic offering two comp drinks. Hence 2 stars or it’d be 1!

What was also disappointing was to see other customers going away unhappy- a family had waited over an hour to be served and one of their meals never arrived, another young couple with a little girl came for their BOOKED table at about 9- the kitchen was closed early at 8pm, It needs more staff urgently

Simply ordered the classic burger and then waited 40 minutes and no meal arrived. So quite rightly explained to a waitress and asked where the order was. I was then told abruptly and patronisingly that it wasant a fast food place, it’s cooked fresh so it takes time.... (You don’t say!? 40 mins though?) then I was told that the order hadnt even been placed in the first place? Sure, mistakes happen all the time and if the waitress wasant so patronising I wouldn’t have been so frustrated. Avoid. Credit to the host on at the time who Is trying keep the place together. 👏🏾

Not even worth the 1 star but will give It to the poor waitress working on her own. Won’t be eating here again and I will be passing my experience on to others. Food looked microwaved, coffee was freezing no crumpets and no longer have pancakes on the all in menu for breakfast yet your prices have gone up. I was disgusted with the awful service

Me and my friend popped in today for lunch. Granted there were a few customers but nothing too unmanageable. We waited to be seated with staff walking past numerous times ignoring us. Not only were we waiting, but there were also two families with young children behind us waiting too. It had been 20 minutes when a lady waiting behind us decided to find a member of staff so we could be sat down. The waitress then said to her that they were not taking any more customers as they were supposedly busy. That took 20 minutes to find out and nobody had the decency to tell us that. We won't be returning any time soon as the customer service was very poor

I went here last night for mother's day meal. It wasn't particularly busy, maybe 20 people. I have eaten here before on more then one occasion and it has been busier! First off not a great start, we were seated and told "someone will be with you for a drinks order" 20 minutes later no one to be seen. We had to go and ask. Secondly, starters to main had a good 30-40minute wait. The original combo is what myself and my husband ordered, not with a side order of chocolate mousse! The "gravy" came out in a small cup which once turned upside down the "gravy" was stuck in the bottom � just what you want! Then, another 25 minute wait for pudding to then be told the pudding we ordered nearly 2 hours ago is out of stock. Every child wants to hear that! Our table wasn't cleared throughout courses until we asked if it could be. Awful customer service! The only helpful member was a young man who was "in training" (no name on badge apart from this) and a young girl called Yasmin. The manager saw us waiting and didn't do anything and saw the gravy and said nothing. Very helpful. Won't be going back again. I suggest if your ever on limited time.. not to bother!

Had to send our meals back as they were horrible chicken breast like a rubber sole jacket potato like a rock and the veg came out on the plate with the bag it was microwaved in and the gravy was like dirty waster. Kids meals was just as bad sausages raw chips under cooked. Very disappointed but the staff was all friendly and helpful.

Dreadful service today. Very short staffed. No cutlery, no condiments, no one asking if our meal was fine. Meal was average. Female waitress looking bored, rolling her eyes to me over a poor customer who was struggling at the till. Queuing to pay to then be told by the same waitress that she needed to do something else, leaves the till & then proceeds to serve a table instead! I won't be returning...

Disappointing meal as sirloin very fatty and undercooked. Told waitress who was very sorry but said another table had complained about the sirloin the same day. Did take £8 off the bill however, didn’t eat a lot as put off, was still charged £11. Won’t be visiting again.
