Was here on the 27/04/17 with my wife have been here before and like today staff friendly and helpful, food was really good. We had the original 83 combo the whole dish was well presented, tender meat lovely coleslaw and corn, fries. We followed with desert and coffee. Will be going again and would recommend to all.

User

Was excellent. On a busy Friday night, we were well looked after. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful, we were seated and then waited on by a lovely lady who made us very welcome and relaxed. The food came and it was really tasty. Massive portions and top value. We were all really happy with our food, and then ordered a Mango Sundaes which were also really nice. All in all the best experience Ive had in a harvester which up until know Ive never rated. I'll be coming back. Keep hold of that waitress, she created a great atomsphere for us and everyone else. Well done.

User

Service and food was spot on. Salad bar was well stocked and lovely and fresh.

I'm not one to write a review but I was genuinely impressed with my experience here. The food was great with large portion sizes and the menu was huge. Our waitress was polite and friendly. My first time visiting this Harvester and I will definitely be going back. The only issue I had was that a couple of items on the menu weren't available but over all a very positive experience.

User

Great place to eat, got everything right from the start, family meal we were quickly seated and served. Food was all freshly cooked and everyone in our group enjoyed it. Service by Tiff was excellent. Thanks for looking after us

User

Great food, great service, and the 16oz rip eye is a monster!

User

Drove down Friday to visit the N.E.C from North Wales and stayed in the Premier Inn Great Barr, then went for a meal at the Harvester. The Service was exellent and the food was lovely and reasonly priced for an 8oz steak with all the trimings. Retiring to the bar area which served an exellent pint of guiness, the seating area was ample and comfortable. The only let down were the toilet facilities which had toilet paper all over the floor and in need of some floor cleaner. All in all an enjoiable eavening and would visit again if we were in the area.

User

Always come to this Harvester as we've tried other Harvester restaurant's and they lack the food quality and service but this place keeps us coming back. I have 2 other Harvesters near me but this is the furthest but I'll happily travel for great food and customer service. Top marks for this place. Love it.

After an emotional farewell party at work Saturday what better way to finish the weekend off but at Great Barr. Service as always spot on . As for the rib eye steak it was melt in the mouth

03/16/18 Sunday 3pmish After being turned away from The Dilke because there was to many of us(6) ? and only ten cars in the large car park ? we looked up the nearest harvester and it directed us here! The car park was nearly full so my wife said stay in the car and i will see if they have a table for 6 , a few minutes later she returned saying we have a table for 6 :) From the moment we entered we felt welcome with a well organised Team delivering the goods :) beautiful salad with plenty of choice , drinks arrived when munching on the salad ,Four Carribean chicken dinners one salmon dinner and a Burger meal for my daughter, and the puddings Superb! (one of the staff showed us her plate stacking skills :)

User

Went for birthday family meal with 4 mad kids & 6 mad adults staff was great looked after us well. Food was fab I had chicken & ribs & black forest Sunday to finish me off. Will be back with the mrs but without all the kids next time.

User

I have been visiting this harvester for many years I've seen good and very bad here but at the moment everything was ok. Our waitress was once again a new face and she was lovely. There have been times we have waited ages for the bill but it was delivered to us with a lovely smile she was a smashing girl and very pleasant. Our food order was all correct and good . Of course we will be returning . Just one thing before I go just after new year I visited you and you hardly had anything on the menu you must get this sorted for next year as you lost a lot of custom as people was walking out . Thank you .

User

Firstly may I say I am not a fan of the harvester chain alas my partner loves the place and so we were there yesterday for her birthday . Greeted on arrival and table reserved whilst we got drinks , orders and addition drinks catered for through out by friendly and attentive staff ,food was presented well and tasted really good , very enjoyable experience and the Mrs was happy which is always a bonus.

User

Had to wait 30mins to be seated only to find that there were a lot of empty tables...with no explanation why the long wait.

User

Really poor, just like any other Harvester! The host at the door was fab, but nothing else was fab about our experience, Food over priced and now served with metal cups etc, out of date sauce on the table, when we mentioned it they bought us anew bottle with not even a sorry!

User

No staff sat waiting 45 mins for someone to come over then had to ask thay need more staff on the 2 girls was running around like headless chickens an couldnt apologised enough

We attended for Breakfast on Mothers Day ... we have had meals here before with no problem but this is the first time we have been here for breakfast ....and the last.... we opted for the "all inc" breakfast we waited a little while for it but that eas fine as we had to queue for juice... queue for tea/coffee which i had to ask for decaf coffee as there wasn't any sachets out...my daughter had emailed to ask if they did decaf cappuccino she had a reply saying they did.... i asked the staff and they don't do decaf only normal ...which as i was told, you don't get free with breakfast anyway .. queue for toast ....no queue for cereals!! .....But the milk is by the tea and coffee and the jug floods the bowl if your not careful....Now the cooked breakfast.... it was dreadful .... not cooked bacon and very dry ....very dry beans with no juice.....scrambled eggs well ...they tasted nothing like scrambled eggs just like a dry lump no moisture and fluffyness at all...."green" grilled tomatoes ..the only thing that was edible was the hash brown.... my one daughter,my son and my husband had exactly the same with their food....my husband had black pudding which was really dried up he said and they had poached "hard" and fried "hard" eggs ....and sausages which they said were ok.. not brilliant but ok..... i was really disappointed .....my other daughter had taken us there for breakfast and i could see she was disappointed so i didn't complain at the time but i will write in to do so as the cost is expensive for a terrible breakfast ..they should stick to normal meals

User

Poor. Booked table for 5pm arrived at 4.45pm and ordered just after 5. At 6pm waitress came over to say the order for 10 we had placed hadn't gone through and we would be waiting another 30 mins. Told the 50% voucher we had could not be transferred to another date too. Poor.
