Hatton Park Food and Events – What’s coming up in 2019?
While the Weather’s been cold and windy and the media have been filling us with Brexit doom and gloom, we’ve been hard at work planning and baking up a brave concoction of food and slightly crazy but fun ideas to keep up the community spirit in Hatton Park over the coming months!
Remember our survey last year?
... As well as curry, our top picks were Fish and Chips nights and Pizza Nights! So far we’ve been restrained by our shop licencing to serving curry that we’ve had to cook at external premises, but this is set to change!
Within the next few weeks, we’ll be able to announce a date for our next addition to the Hatton Park Village Store family meaning we’ll be able to start serving Pizza, Fish and Chips and a whole lot more…watch this space!
So what about events?
We’ve got that covered too and you’ll be seeing our gang dropping leaflets and adverts in the shop real soon.

• The Hatton Reggae festival • Summer family fun day • Our 10 Year Anniversary Party • Miniature sporting events in the square

We will be trialing curry nights weekly as of Thursday 7th Feb, serving one meat dish and one veggie as well as introducing some new starters and Indian desserts to the menu.

Ess, his family and team are a wonderful asset to the community and always willing to help anyone out. From the loan of a wheelchair to contributing lots of goodies for Ferncumbe School and of course the footy!

Ess is a great character, he’s a vital part in our community and his shop is great!
