Freshen up of a rental property in Coventry 👍🏻

Kitchen I’ve been working on for the last few days of this week.
All mist coated in thinned down Jonmat contract matt. Two coats of Covaplus vinyl matt on the ceiling. & two coats of Covaplus vinyl matt on the walls. Three coats of Covaplus vinyl matt mixed into grey shadows PPG-1005-3 on the feature wall. Woodwork all coated with Johnstones trade professional undercoat & satin finish 👍🏻🎨👨🏻‍🎨

Few pictures of a job I’ve been working on this week.
All wallpaper stripped,walls rubbed down & sized. 1200 grade lining paper put up across the ceiling, & 1200 grade lining paper crosslined on all the walls. Didn’t really have to do the chimney breast wall & alcoves as it’s all going to be covered with fitted wardrobes. But still done it to tidy it up a bit 👍🏻
... Ceilings have been emulsioned in Johnstones pacific pearl (off-white) & walls have been emulsioned in Dulux French cream both mixed into Johnstones Trade Covaplus vinyl matt.
All finished off with Johnstones trade undercoat & satin finish.

Busy weekend freshening up a local Pilates studio.
With Johnstones trade acrylic durable matt mixed into Dulux mellow mocha on the walls. And all woodwork finished with Johnstones trade undercoat & satin finish 👍🏻

Lovely project completed this week.
All ceilings & walls emulsioned in Johnstones Trade brilliant white Covaplus vinyl Matt. Three feature walls in the kitchen/dining area emulsioned in Little Greene Tabernacle (No 308) all woodwork undercoated with Johnstones trade joncryl acrylic primer & topcoated with Benjamin Moore Scuff-X satin finish. & the living room has been finished with a Laura Ashley paper.

Well that was freezing 😂 ❄️🏃🐺✅

A lovely end to this working week.
Kitchen/diner decorated with Johnstones trade acrylic durable matt (Magical Melon) on the walls, feature wall sealed with a coat of a shellac based primer which also doubles up as a stain block. Finished off with a forest tree glittery vinyl paper. 🌲🎨👍🏻

Another one I’ve been working on at silly o’clock to get it squeezed in for a client. 💪🏻
Kitchen - All fresh plaster mist coated with thinned down leyland contract matt. Ceiling stains touched up with Zinsser BIN and emulsioned in Covaplus vinyl matt. Walls done in Dulux diamond matt (Willow) woodwork & rads undercoated In Benjamin Moore fresh start primer & topcoated with johnstones trade satin finish.
Bathroom - Filled up and rubbed down. Sealed with a coat of Zinsser Peelstop, 1400 grade lining paper hung & emulsioned ceiling & walls in Covaplus vinyl matt 👍🏻

Recent redecoration of an office for a client in Coventry’s canal basin.
Its very important to choose a great quality emulsion that doesn’t flash or grin when applied over large surfaces. Especially having to work on the ceiling in three sections due to the desks having to stay in the office throughout decoration. & with this office having lots of critical lighting with plenty of natural & artificial light sources Careful application is crucial to produce a quality finish.

All steel beams & woodwork undercoated with Tikkurila Otex undercoat.
Finished with a topcoat of Tikkurila Everal high gloss 90.

Another job i’ve completed over a couple of late evenings to squeeze it in for a landlord. All prepped up, water stains sealed with Zinsser BIN shellac based primer. Two coats of johnstones trade covaplus vinyl matt in brilliant white & magnolia on the ceiling & walls. Undercoated in Benjamin Moore fresh start acrylic primer. & finished with johnstones trade water based satin finish. Nice & simple stuff but very happy with the end result! 👍🏻

Exterior bay freshen up completed over this weekend 👍🏻
All loose flaking paint scraped back. Cracks all filled with Toupret Touprelith exterior masonry filler. Sanded down. Applied a coat of stabilising solution to seal the chalky/dusty substrate. Applied two coats of johnstones trade stabilising masonry primer, finished with two topcoats of Johnstones trade pliolite based masonry finish 👍🏻
