User

Went to the opening weekend, really impressed by the selection of beers and the amazing music from the DJ to compliment the vibe of the bar. Just what Birmingham needed!

User

Very good combination off good beer and music great atmosphere I will be back

User

Really nice place. Food was lovely and the bar staff were sooooo friendly. The beer is a touch dear but you won't get some of them in the shops. We had a couple of tasters and we was really impressed. We'll be definitely going back.

User

Perfect place with great selection of beers, friendly team and great atmosphere really worth visit !!!!!

User

I’ve been several times since it opened last week and cannot fault it on the drinks front. I’ve yet to eat there but the food being brought out looks lovely. Great fit-out and very friendly staff. Live entertainment Friday, Saturday and Sunday is also a nice touch. I think they could be on to a winner here!

User

I've been so excited to come visit once you opened and I wasn't disappointed! Such a lovely, airy venue (so much bigger than we expected) with an eclectic choice of music and a decent selection of drinks for everyone.

The massive burgers (we had a Tex Mex and Full Head of Steam) were piping hot and absolutely delicious and the service was the friendliest we've ever had - I'm so sorry I didn't catch any names but the lovely lady that served me at the bar and the super friendly guy who brought over our food made *the* best first impression! We will definitely be back after payday :)

User

I love this place, just what Birmingham needed. Great choice of drinks and IPA’s lovely food, amazing live music and brilliant DJs.

User

Great new venue for beer and ale fans. Huge choice with friendly and helpful bar staff. Not tried the food but will probably be back again soon.

User

Great bar and atmosphere even the door staff were great fun and easy to chat too. Excellent range of beers and ciders!!

User

Fantastic place with really friendly staff. I booked an area for friends, which was easy and everyone had a great time. I'll be back again for sure.

User

Fantastic beer & food menu, exciting interior & knowledgable staff; I'll be popping down for the live music on a Sunday as I live nearby so hey, I can't even hold grudges for the extra noise.

User

A review on my first visit had to be done. A smashing place with plenty of room to chill. A spot on rack of Twisted Barrel ales and nice friendly staff. A place I will come back to.

User

Great selection. Downside was expensive Belgian beer dumped in a pint glass rather than poured properly in a proper glass. Still first world problems etc.

User

A beer selection to rival the Post Office Vaults (particularly solid on the Belgian front), only not underground. Friendly service, lovely big photo of Brum on the back wall, nice layout. Very promising!

User

No knowledge of how to pour the beer . Bottle conditioned beers just hurled into a glass. Complained but to no avail. It would be better to give the customer the bottle than to leave it to inept staff.

User

A fantastic bar with great athomphere, a great shame tho seemed over priced for real ale in the area £4.50 a pint for a local beer.

User

I want to like this place. Beer range is great and food looks good but service is very poor. First visit waited ages to get served so left after one drink, second visit got bored of being ignored so gave up and went elsewhere. Plenty of staff but they didn't seem to be doing much. I doubt I'll rush back.

User

Great bar and very good selection of beer. We had food and it was cold and not that tasty. Won’t be going back as although the venue is excellent as is the beer selection it’s very very expensive. There are 2 bars within walking distance that sell the same Belgian beers for in some cases half the price. £6 for a 330ml bottle of mass produced timmermans Kriek is nothing short of ripping people off. As someone who loves Belgian beer i know my stuff and what a fair price is, it’s a shame that they think these sort of prices are fair and they don’t even serve the beer in the right glass. It’s not London guys.

User

First couple of times I came here I loved the atmosphere and the beer. Tonight I could have gotten a better quality pint in 'spoons; the beer was in awful condition and the lines are obviously not being kept clean. Very disappointed because I thought this was a decent bar. The atmosphere is still good, but you need to get on top of your bar
