As the November grey skies continue to feel gloomy, here is a reminder of the beauty and glory of summer in Nature.
In amongst all the damp and windy weather, the handbag pansies shine out, a beautiful snapshot of verve and colour as winter approaches.
The glorious colours of Autumn are a stunning welcome to everyone at St Michael's Hospice, our main Garden Festival beneficiary. So lovely to see.
On this beautiful sunny October day, here is the front page of our website, with a lovely short film, to remind you of our wonderful Festival in June.

What a wonderful October day at Hellens! Morning mists cleared allowing warm sunshine to cascade through the beautiful Autumnal tree colours. How lucky are we to work in such a natural delight.
We are delighted to see what H'Energy are showcasing THIS Sunday at Queenswood. It is a great opportunity to discover more about how we can manage without plastic and help make a sustainable life for ourselves and everyone.
The Garden Festival team met up and strolled in the lovely gardens and grounds of Hellens, soaking in the myriad of glorious Autumnal colour and enjoying the late warm afternoon sunshine. A reminder why Hellens is such a fabulous place to hold our Festival.
BRILLIANT NEWS! We spent a wonderful Wednesday morning at Hellens, in the gloriously apple laden orchards of Hellens, bathed in warm late summer sunshine, celebrating the success of this year's Hellens Garden Festival. Sponsors, supporters, volunteers and the garden festival team enjoyed a tour of the house, and tea and delicious cake set out in the orchards. Without the support and energy of all these people, the Garden Festival would not be the success that it is, many than...k yous. We are so pleased to have been able to give the funds raised for St Michael's Hospice and special project, Back to the Wild. Philip Long, a generous sponsor and Master of Ceremonies on this occasion, very kindly presented Ruth Denison, of St Michael's Hospice, a total of £11,480.75 a combination of the festival donation, £10,660 and commissions and donations from sculptors and exhibitors, £820.75. Philip also presented Kat Terry of Back to the Wild project a wonderful £3,544, enabling the important and valuable work they do with young people to continue and flourish. We are grateful for all the hard work and enthusiasm of all the people involved and for the many visitors who come and experience our amazing Hellens Garden Festival.

Fantastic family event, so much to see & do. Wonderful atmosphere, gets better every year.
Fabulous event - well organised, great entertainment, delicious food, wonderful location.
Absolutely fabulous day out for my Dad's 60th birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the sculpture trail and grounds. Everywhere was beautiful. Bought some chocolate scented cosmos that I had in my wedding bouquet 10yrs ago and some rose trees. Great value for money and so much to see and do. Highly recommend the quiches and salad for lunch. Great musical entertainment also.
A lovely festival in beautiful surroundings . I loved the “into the wild” area and the mandala was stunning. Bought some lovely plants and sampled the sheep’s milk ice cream. Delicious! The scouts did a great job and were so friendly and polite. Well done everyone!
A fantastic, well organised garden festival. Plenty for everyone to see and do. We'll definitely visit again next year.
A fantastic time full of delights, plants, sculpture, food, music and more. Well done for a gem.
Not bad, not quite as good as expected.
