Came across this lovely little place, the staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them! We even ordered something which wasn’t on the menu and they catered for us no problem. The scones were the nicest we’ve had in ages, and would definitely return just for those! We will be recommending to everyone! “Hettys” is wishing the best of luck to BOB4K.. “Bobbies on bikes 4 kids” beaches & battlefields challenge.. Monday 10th September for 5 days in the saddle cycling 400 miles from Cherbourg to Dunkirk.. Yes they'd ran out of a couple of things( it was late lunchtime when we arrived),

Yes we had to wait a few minutes to order, but that's because of its popularity.

We had lovely sandwiches and gorgeous freshly made cakes and scones, the staff were efficient and very friendly,

Would definitely recommend!!

We are already planning our next outing there... very soon!!!!!

We’ve been to you many times and you never fail on service and quality. Today was a special occasion as my mum was 80. Hettys was my first choice for our lunch together and was perfect. Keep up the good work! Xx

Visited for the first time on Tuesday with my friend, OMG what a gorgeous place we will definitely be visiting again and we’ll probably take the dogs too if its a nice day.

This place is a hidden gem! Lovely place to spend an afternoon. Delicious food and beautiful views. Highly recommend the Jack Daniels coated chicken sandwiches and the cherry bakewell scones. My little girl, loved the new black forest milkshake.

This is situated in a lovely peaceful spot by the water very popular cream tea was divine definitely recommend it.

Thank you to everyone at Hettys for making our Mum's 70th Birthday party go so smoothly. The cakes and scones were delicious and your staff were amazing at looking after us all so well. Thank you :) �

Stopped today after a walk along the Wharf. Order bacon and egg, sausage and egg baps, strawberry shakes and a buiscuit for our dog. Loved everything and will call again.

Service was brilliant couldn’t do enough for us , lovely setting and food so very tasty and all 6 of us chose different lunches - good choice for our Gluten-free person as well - definitely be going again thank Emma and Jess for a

First time visiting on Father’s Day with young family. Very busy at the time but couldn’t have felt more welcomed by the staff. Amazing food in beautiful surroundings. 5*

Came for our first visit today , service was quick , food was gorgeous !! Didn’t have room for one of the tempting cakes as we were full up lol. But will definitely try one on our next visit !! See you soon !!!

Been here numerous times now. We take residents from the care home I work in. The staff are amazing. If we ring ahead and let them know we coming they reserve a spacious place for us to accommodate wheelchairs. The food is home made and delicious. Especially the cakes are Devine. Can't wait for our next visit. Well done everyone who works there. You are great and so friendly. A credit to.the owners xx

Cakes to die for again all very fresh and today i rang ahead for my sandwich order and it was just as good as a take a way as dining in.. great place .. love it...

Absolute treat of a place - food was delicious, well presented and all served with a smile. Someone has been a lot of time and thought into Hettys and it certainly shows. The staff were really lovely and although very busy were polite and welcoming.

I absolutely love this place. My only criticism is that when I have taken my son after school, at half past 3. I have twice been told that you are closing when on your Facebook page it says open till 4pm.

Went to Hetty’s Tea Shop a few weeks ago on a Sunday 12:45pm really disappointed stopped serving food at lunchtime because of a back log tables were full outside around 12 and a couple of people inside not full.

Would not even do a sandwich could only offer quiche or cake!! Would have been prepared to wait but that wasn’t an option.Perhaps they should employ more staff at the weekends an eatery that cant provide food at lunchtime !!!!

Sadly won’t be going back

Stopped by today.....not local! Couldnt provide food that was on the menu....ooops...couldn't actually see a menu....approached staff a couple of times who were clearly overworked and over heated which was demonstrated by the way we were ignored!!!!

Only paper on table was how to complain!!!! Spoke volumes.....sadly no one available to complain to!!!!

Would not recommend or return!!!
