Wow !! I simply can not say enough about this place but here goes ... The greeter was friendly and informative. Our host (waiter) was Phil, what a great guy - he was very friendly, informative, efficient and funny � The 2 sodas � we had were very tasty (mango + pineapple, cherry cream). The food was delicious and extremely filling (double burger, steak). I’ve never seen onion rings the size of a necklace before � We ordered dessert (waffles, frozen custard) and struggled to eat it because we were so full � Throughout the meal we were topped up with bottled water and asked if we were happy which was lovely. I visited the ladies and was very pleasantly surprised at seeing a basket containing complimentary toiletries (body sprays, perfume, antiperspirant and sanitary items) on the vanity unit - great idea. So, all in all I was bowled over by this place and will certainly be visiting again !!

This place is so well themed! There was live music and all the staff were dressed in 'country folk' outfits. Our waiter Joe, was friendly and had a good chat with us. The food was delicious, and staff couldn't do enough for us! *****

I love this place the best restaurant in Coventry I love the atmosphere the Hostess was very friendly even though we didnt have a booked table we were sat right away then our server George came over and greeted us and the manager even brought over the drinks this was an amazing experience I had the XXXL Roadhouse burger this was awesome my fiancée had the Kansas style bbq glazed ribs and they were fantastic my daughter had the kids macaroni meal this was great for her I will always return here this place is my favourite restaurant I have been 3 times so far with friends and family and each time has been better than the last all round 5 stars two thumbs up for the food the drinks the service and the atmosphere!!!!!!

Have been countless times to hickory's and have always enjoyed everything about it; the food, the atmosphere and the staff. But I've always put off leaving a review.

However, after spending last night at their Superbowl event I felt compelled to leave this one at long last.

My friend and I had a great night and half way through we felt a bit peckish and decided to order some fried chicken from their Superbowl menu. Unfortunately I had to ask twice after waiting 40 minutes for the food which hadn't arrived. Once it was delivered it was delicious as always, and the staff couldn't apologise enough and made every effort to make their mistake right again.

I didn't make a fuss about the wait, it was busy and I didn't expect it to be quick, but the compensation for my wait was more than adequate and just cemented my opinion that the restaurant and their staff are some of the most engaged, welcoming and caring I've ever come across. I'd be very proud to have them as my employees.

Great place. Loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing. They even give you popcorn as you sit down. All of the staff are lovey too. We sat at the chef's bar and got to see all the lovely food put out. They inspect it all and make sure it's up to standard. I would defiantly recommend it! Me and my partner are defiantly coming back!

Amazing atmosphere from the moment we walked in, we were half an hour early and as the England game was on the lady we spoke too was very flexible to let us watch the game in the bar area before going to our table and just said ‘let us know when your ready’ which was great.

All 3 courses of our food were amazing along with the service provided by staff. I believe our waitress was called Maddie and she was brilliant, you couldn’t ask for a better server �

Me and my partner drove over from Warwickshire on 2/4/18 we pre-booked online for a table. we were greeted by the staff and told us our table wasn’t ready then asked us to go to the bar area which we did and purchased a drink. After about 10min I started to realise more people were turning up and Being escorted to there tables after another 10min I went back up to the greeting area ask one of the staff what’s happening with our table. They thought we already been seated so she took us to our table which was behind us where we were have drink. But after 2min they realised their blunder A senior manager came up to us and apologised and Offered us free drinks with our food.. but part from that the food was spot on but probably be a long time before I will revisit....

The staff were nice and it’s a good good vibe.

But the food was terrible, tasteless and expensive for what it was.

Kids meals were also very greasy and the come with raw veg?! So I had to buy extra on top on a pitiful 4.50 toddler meal.

It’s a shame cause the serving staff were lovely and the managers but the food really let the place down. You expect bog standard pub grub at least and good atmosphere but the food was just dry, warm and unseasoned (even the chips).

Quite Monday evening, lots of staff, looked like two management. Still took them over an hour to serve main course. Thought we we give it a try again after a bad experience last year.
