As of 2019 we are proud to offer free bereavement support as part of our service, this is available to anyone who is using our services at present, or at any time in the past.
SAIF Care provides a range of services to bereaved people, over the age of 18, including:
A freephone telephone helpline 0800 917 7224 ... Email support and information help@saifcare.org.uk Up to six free sessions of supportive counselling by telephone, skype or face to face in your local area.
SAIF Care services are offered by friendly staff who are trained in counselling and bereavement skills and who will be able to listen and support you.
SAIF Care Associate Counsellors are highly skilled and qualified. They will be able to help you to understand your experience of grief, develop self-care, coping strategies and support you to deal with the challenges you may be facing.
SAIF Care services are available Monday– Friday, from 9am–9pm.
SAIF Care is confidential and free of charge to people who have used our services at any time.

Over 130 family members we have served this year attended our memorial service in Castle Bromwich today. Thank you to all that came.

At Hickton's we’re proud to support The Royal British Legion. In recognition of the work they do to help our Armed Forces community all year round, we will donate £25 for every Golden Charter Funeral Plan taken out with us until 31st January 2019 (terms apply).

Following on from tonight’s ITV documentary ‘Pay now, die later’ we’d like to reassure all of our families that the only fees associated with our Golden Charter Funeral Plans is the admin fee which is detailed on the application forms as a separate charge upfront from the start which covers the setting up and administering of the plan in an independent trust fund.
It’s interesting to note that Golden Charter weren’t mentioned in the programme which shows how clear and upfront... they are on this matter.
Our advice has always been that the best person to buy a funeral plan from is the people who will be carrying out your funeral and not a marketing or administration firm who ultimately won’t be looking after you and your family at the time!

Over the weekend we held an open day at the funeral home and invited to Castle Bromwich Bowls Club, which we sponsor for an evening with the team. We would like to thank the bowls club for hosting us Friday, Alun Tucker (SAIF President), Ft. Micheal and Rev. Jackie for blessing our chapels on Saturday at our open day.
