We had a lovely meal. Lovely staff. Very pleased. Highly recommended.

We came for lunch yesterday. And the cooker decided to go on a never ending holiday. However the food was amazing. We received an apology for the wait although when we ordered we were made aware this would be 30 mins (it felt like less) . Thank you and see you again

Such a friendly pub. Food was delicious and the waitress was so helpful and pleasant. Our 2nd time here and will be back for many more meals. Highly recommend to all and 5 Stars.

Lovely meal at The Highwayman Sunday 29th October, newly refurbished, nice open environment, staff were lovely and very friendly. Even though it was very busy the waiting time was very reasonable, there were 8 people in our party and we all received our meals at the same time, portion sizes were very good too, absolutely recommended and we’ll be back! Thank you �

Lovely food here and the look is so much nicer. So chilled out and the pizzas are amazing. Thanks to the fab Anja for taking our order and the other staff for being so lovely�

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff today for an amazing Christmas meal (works Christmas meal) Food was gorgeous and staff were top knotch, great friendly service, did all they could to help...!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting great food at a great price and service with a smile. Thanks all everyone really enjoyed it. We will be back again next year.....me on the other hand I'll be back soon with my friends we love the place.

It’s even better than it used to be. But it’s more than that. It’s not just about the value for money, the mini sports lounge bit. It’s not even about the brand new pizza kitchen.



But it is everything to do with the people running the joint. Whether I’m talking to Rob behind the bar, or the little blonde (sorry, name blank!) who can never do enough for us, it’s a pleasure each and every time. But it all starts at the top. Sian’s got this place running to the max so please, Highwayman, break the habit of a lifetime...... and keep your manager �

Have taken the Oswestry and District Stroke Club,for afternoon tea, there fist outing of the year, well the first was the lay out there 35 members and we all got sat cumfee, the food table was laid out grand with tea and coffee put on after they we all fed our faces to the full,

you could not have found anything wrong with anything that was on for us all the staff was great the bar staff help to bring drinks to the tables that some members could not manage to carry them when ordered.

So a great afternoon was had by all.

But this is the same anytime you go here,and i and my wife go two and some times three when family or friends come to visit.

Good luck Sian and Sam on the reopening of the NEW Highwayman today. It's looking fab, fresh and funky!! Had a lovely time at the VIP launch yesterday as a family. The atmosphere of the pub has totally changed and it's so lovely to be welcomed by so many friendly faces. Nothing was too much trouble! Good service. The new pizza kitchen is amazing. Freshly made and extremely yummy. Will denfiately be recommending friends your way.....

Came here for the Easter Bunny Breakfast. £5 each. Was amazing! Definitely worth the money and my son had so much fun. The staff were willing to go that extra mile to make sure all the kids got involved in the activities! It was lovely to see.

Called in today with my husband and my Nan for lunch and I must say after plenty of terrible experiences we were pleasantly surprised by how brilliant the place now looks and also the meals we all had were lovely, defiantly a much needed make over and the new management are very welcoming...if you've ever had a bad experience and always said you wouldn't return I really think you should give the new owners a try as whatever they have done to improve it seems to be working! Well done I say!!

As a family of 5, we got invited for a VIP experience with the new opening, great new decor, and themes with a new pizza oven and new stylish menu we all enjoyed, the service was great couldn't really be improved as they were friendly and open. The atmosphere was great as it is a pub its what you expect, as a family or simple meal we will definitely be returning to try something new.

After several bad experiences, all I can say is the katsu chicken burger is awesome. I'm so glad I gave you another chance.

9 of us had a meal here for an 18th birthday. Food was gorgeous and staff were lovely. Thank you x

Toilets were awful, food was fair as there was a large group of us. Drinks were pricey
