We met the lambs this morning and then went for drinks & snacks in the cafe. The staff were great both for the lambing and in the cafe and the cake was yummy. Thank you for a lovely morning, we had a great time and will be back! x

We had a lovely brunch on Sunday we were a big family group.

Although very busy the staff were very attentive and very friendly.

The food was excellent and didn’t have to wait long considering how busy it was.

We had young children with us and wanted to sit outside so they could have a play In the play area, we got a table outside with help from the staff and it was very much appreciated.

Thankyou for a lovely morning Hilltop farm cafe.

User

This place is a little gem. We went a couple of weeks ago to the farm shop and had a coffee, the restaurant looked really busy and the food looked. Today we had a table for 8 people the roast beef Sunday lunch was amazing, staff were really friendly and very helpful. Would recommend giving this place a try for breakfast or dinner or even just a coffee and a cake.

User

Lovely lunch with friends yesterday. I had the spitfire battered fish and chips and it was the most lovely meal. Friends had salads, they were huge and leftovers were wrapped to take home. Waitresses were efficient and friendly. Place was busy but not crowded and we watched the preparations for the bonfire party later that night.

I have driven past many times and thought I should go in. I have been missing a treat and will ensure I return. Highly recommendex.

User

Great experience, amazing breakfast. We bought lamb meat to bring back home and it was great!! Polite and delightful staff, greenery and open spaces added to our experience. Highly recommended

User

Absolutely love this place tucked away surrounded by fields! Lovely cakes and drinks. Must try the food next

User

Absolutely love Hilltop, the food at the cafe is fantastic and to boot we booked a hog roast for our work birthday celebration today at short notice (2 days) and it couldn't have been better! 10/10 from me and all my work colleagues!

User

We have been here a few times. No problem at any visit. Staff friendly, food lovely, great views and my girls love the play area, ride on toys and ponies. The shop has some fab bits but I tend to avoid it or I'd spend a fortune!

User

Visited today to treat my mum for mothers day. It was our first visit but had been recommended it we just had tea and scones but they were amazing, warm when they arrived at the table and jam to die for. It was busy which I expected due to it being mothers day tomorrow but the wait wasn't too bad and we sat outside so my daughter could play and they come and let us know when it had arrived at our table. The views were amazing and very relaxing. We will definitely paying another visit here. Could just do with a bit more outside for kids as lots of field space.

User

Good food, prices in the shop a bit steep but there you go. Great beer festival every June.

User

We visited today after reading the great reviews, but I have to say I was a little disappointed. They have turned out to be a bit misleading. I was expecting there to be animals and other stuff to see other than the farm shop and cafe.... there wasn't. It is a long way out for what is essentially a nice cafe and small but nice farm shop (craft shop closed on Mondays). That said, the staff were helpful and the food looked good too... but we didn't bother staying. I'd much rather an actual farm to visit!

User

Lovely views, very accessible, friendly staff, plenty of choice....but the cake was dry, perhaps because it was late on in the afternoon

User

I've been here before and it was very nice but I think you should show more respect to your customers in that we don't all want to eat the animals we can see on your farm...or any local farm...or any farm....especially the way you have packaged their flesh in your latest promotion for the football...shocking!

User

Having been here several times before and really enjoyed myself, me and several mummy friends and babies decided to come for tea and cakes. One of the waitresses came to collect our glasses she asked us all individually if we were going to have lunch. We all said no to which the response was that she suggested we should leave to allow other customers a seat!!! We were all shocked and felt instantly uncomfortable so I looked around to see two free table and chairs! We had been there just shy of 2 hours! We left as didn’t feel welcome and certainly won’t be coming back soon to be made to feel so uncomfortable.

User

Went to the Santa's Grotto today and it was absolutely terrible and a complete waste of money.

The Santa was behind a plastic sheet in a, what i can only describe as a Christmas tree storage tent.

There was only 1 person (who wasn't very helpful) working there and not dressed up. We stood outside the plastic sheet for a few minutes after a child left Santa waiting for the lady to tell us we could go in, but nothing so we had to take it on ourselves to go in.

I would have preferred to go to the free Grotto in Coventry City Centre and spend the £11 on Bratwurst sausages for lunch.

User

Increasingly disappointed with poor service and little customer care. Used to be a favourite place. Such a shame. The food quality still seems high, and I don't like giving a review like this because I can only imagine people are working hard ...but I can only see people giving up like I have .... please do something to change this.

I was so looking forward to Sunday lunch here with the family. My wife has been before had loved it but I am very sorry to say that today's experience was very disappointing. The main issues were poor vegetables, broccoli was grey, rubbery and virtually inedible. Surely it was not fresh produce. Roast potatoes were leathery on outside and a bit of mush on the inside. The risotto was bland and unsatisfying. There was very little of it for a main meal, perhaps just as well. The tomato salad was pleasant but was literally a few colourful tomato halves and a few small leaves and no bread. Perhaps my main concern was that provision for special dietary requirements was poor. Despite calling several days earlier and being reassured that provision would be made for the children with allergies, they were left with virtually no food. This is not good enough in this day and age. I am very sorry but I could not recommend you for Sunday Lunch.
