We are trying to raise awareness and get the word out to as many people as possible. Leo escaped from the local cattery on Lentons Lane. Please help by sharing.

Went yesterday and found the perfect gazebo for my garden, on enquiry I asked if they did installation, I was happily told that they did. Expecting to hear it would take a while to organise, I was amazed when offered the next day (today). Well 2 guys came this morning, erected the gazebo and put the curtains up. It's made such a difference to our garden and taken the hassle from my husband by putting it up. Thank you so much.

We went to hilltop garden centre yesterday I found it to be a lovely place well set out a play area if you have young ones so they don't get bored the cafe was clean staff were lovely and helpful food was excellent will definitely be going again soon

User

We visited the Hilltop yesterday for the first time in ages. Wow wow re the Christmas lights and music. We were very impressed and have recommended a visit to our friends and family. Excellent selection of cakes including a choice of delicious gluten free goodies too. The cafe was very busy and there seemed to be too many table and chairs for such a small area and it would be difficult if one was in a wheelchair. However that is my only very small complaint and will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.

Took my 2 and half year granddaughter to see Santa a little disappointed he was not there thought as it was school holidays he would and feel others made same mistake, so perhaps that's an idea for next year ! Anyway Phoebe loved watching and dancing with the Santa band and put a donation in several times ! We had a lovely lunch and made the most ofvthe sale too I would give it a 9 out of 10 the polar bears are cute too.

User

So I went for lunch at Hill Top garden centre on Thursday and didn't even realise I had lost my purse till late last night, thought I'd wait till 9 this morning and ring them as it was the last place I could remember having it. I didn't hold out much hope and whilst there wasn't much money in it it, there was family pictures, two bank cards, driving licence, counselling membership card and all sorts of things that would have been a nightmare to sort out. Door knocks this morning to see a young lad standing with it dropping it off to me on his way to work! There are some nice decent people in the world

User

Luv this place, great for plants, fish, cakes an things you didn't even know you needed, but when you see them you have to purchase Excellent customer service, great advice about plants, couldn't recommend highly enough

User

Love it here so close to our home , they do fab breakfasts , great plants , our birds love the seeds and got a beautiful Xmas tree all from here highly recommend it

User

I love hilltop especially at Christmas. They have an amazing choice of decorations and I always buy more. The atmosphere is lovely with Christmas music in the background and a cafe where you can indulge in coffee and cake to keep you going. Have recommended to friends and I will definitely be back.

User

All great there! Staff are wonderful. I took my ragdoll cat with me and they were very animal friendly. Lovely place to shop

User

Visited today with my 3 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed her visit to Santa’s grotto, the shopping & amazing decorations. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious. Great place for Christmas decorations & tea & cake. We’ll be back to try out the play area 50% off Christmas trees, lights & decorations!

User

I love to look round this garden centre, especially around Christmas I could buy everything in there, but I find it very expensive so I go elsewhere to get the same products at half the price, I find the cafe good value for money though, nice variety of meals and cakes we often go there for lunch.

User

Hadn't been for a while and decided to pop in for a got drink and cake. It's really clean, well presented and the staff in the cafe are lovely. Looked like some work was being done in the main shop area so I guess that'll look better once it's done and the shelves are full again.

The hot chocolate was really nice. I had a cookie dough cheesecake, which was a bit sickly for me but nice enough, and my son enjoyed his tea and tiramasu. Portions were smaller compared to some places but not a bad price for a treat.

User

Good cake and and good mocha

I visited the Garden Centre on Saturday 11th February 2017. I was very disappointed that the staff there do not seem to have any training in customer service. I wanted to purchase a umbrella stand, but as it was faulty I asked if it could be discounted. The girl on the till said she could not authorise this herself but I could wait for Julie to make that decision. Instead of sending one of the two members of staff hanging around to get her the girl said she would be about five minutes but couldn't say how long she would actually be. So I was standing there waiting until she came. I have been here many times previously and spent quite a lot of money here. On a positive note the cafe girls are very efficient and welcoming and have a good range of tasty cakes/light meals on offer. The cafe is highly recommended on that part, and the decor is at a very high standard, and they have very clean toilet facilities . The prices in the garden centre are reasonable and there is a good selection of products as well as selling plants. At Christmas I have to say it was dressed out sensational and better than the competitive larger garden centres. Management I address you now, please put some attention to customer service as my rating only reflects that part of your establishment; had this been in place my rating would have been 5 out of 5.

User

This used to be my favourite garden centre but its changed so much. The garden equipment has been reduced to a small section outside in favour of an aquatics centre.

At one time you could bag a bargain but now i find plants here expensive .

The staff at the checkout never smile and look like they dont want to be there.

The cafe ... £2.99 for a very small slice of treacle tart.

What a shame wont be visiting again

User

Great place ..clean and we'll set out ..cakes are lovely nice staff ..but the breakfast is double the price than anywhere else and not good snotty egg ..bacon you can't cut with a knife beans lacking juice ..say no more if you.wanna eat stick to a cake

User

Came to your garden centre yesterday your displays are lovely, took my little girl to see santa, i was asked twice how old she is i said 21 months, we paid £7 which at the time i didnt mind, went into see santa and we was in for about 2 minutes? If that your santa made no effort with my little girl whats so ever, he could see she was a bit scared but at no point did he make an effort with her, i think for the price it was absolutely shocking to be honest, the toy she was given was shocking too on the wrapper it said 18months pluss - 3 year, well the toy she got on the box said 12 months pluss, some cheap nasty toy to be honest, just really disappointing. Am taking her to see santa at palmers next week and ive paid £8 for that and she gets to spend 30 minutes with him in his groto, i think u have really over charged for a 2 minute visit and u need to get a better santa who makes an effort with the kids very disappointed

User

Will never be going back to hilltop garden centre after today after the manager Melissa decided to insult me and my 2 years old son infront of a whole shop , actually following us around watching us pretending to write on a note pad. The woman clearly has issues , my son was helping choose decorations for our tree and was putting them in the basket , she rudely and abruptly told me to stop my son throwing decorations and breaking them and that he's been doing it the whole time and that he broke something at the entrance even tho everything my son touched was In the basket and none of it was broken neither did he break anything .. I told her this and said my son is only helping as I teach him to be independent and involve him .. ( it's Christmas .. it's exciting for children ) i asked her if she has been following us which is alarming enough as it is which she chose to ignore, we walked off and she actually followed us and turned around and said that he was being naughty and that she's a firm believer that it stems from the parents and what I teach him as she has a 3 year old that behaves better than him , for one my child was being well behaved as he always is and he fully well listens .. we paid for everything we chose In the basket and none of it was broken , I did speak to the other managers brother ( who was lovely ) he informed me that she is the wife/ girlfriend of his brother who owns the store . That is the first and last time I'll ever go there . She stood slating me to other staff members on the cafe counter who then all stood talking while I carried on around the shop.

Anyone who knows my child will no he loves to help and is a loving lovely boy not some devil trashing things in a shop. The woman's attitude and people skills were horrendous , she should of just spoken to me with a bit of respect .

Just to note the only thing was got damaged was my son's juice cup as I dropped it .. bit of juice got spilt and cleaned up .

I get the impression I'm not the first person to be at the end of this lady's tongue and won't be the last.
