Hms Forward - Royal Navy Reserves Training Centre

Yesterday one of our former #Reservists , Chloe Dymond, passed out at HMS Raleigh for the second time, this time as a Regular in the Royal Navy.
AB Dymond was part of the CIS(Res) branch at HMS FORWARD before joining the Regular Service. We will be pleased to welcome her back to #Birmingham where she will undertake her studies to become a Mental Health Nurse.

All smiles this evening as Deputy Commander Maritime Reserves, Col Jeff Moulton, presented two of our Ship’s Company with well deserved awards.
Midshipman Harvey became Sub-lieutenant Harvey after passing his Fleetboard this weekend, whilst Leading Hand Powell received his second Good Conduct badge for serving 8 consecutive years at trained strength in the Royal Naval Reserve. BZ both!

Fleetboard is the final exam taken to complete phase 1 of training to become a Royal Naval Reserve Officer, and requires a great deal of time, commitment and discipline to pass.

HMS FORWARD marched through the city of Wolverhampton on #ArmedForcesDay today, representing the Royal Naval Reserve alongside our local British Army and Royal Air Force Cosford colleagues.
