What a fantastic hotel and staff! Hollie, Tsitsi Gareth and Weronika on Reception and Sami on bar to name a few! We came up for a belated Xmas Party! A different room on the ground floor (last time we stayed on 2nd floor) which was immaculate too! The party was superb from 7pm - 1am we drank, danced and had a buffet feast from around he world! My husband thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and I must remember to book a beauty appointment next time I stay! Thank you Birmingham!

Stayed the night for an early morning flight. Staff were great, helpful and polite. Rooms and car parking were well appointed and the shuttle bus was on time with a curtious driver. Also had dinner there, can't really fault it and look forward to returning !! Well done Holiday Inn �

Room clean and had everything I needed. Bed and pillows very comfortable.

Service excellent, couldn’t have looked after better. Dinner and wine delicious.

Wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel again.

I am staying here for 3 nights, so far evening meals have been very nice, breakfast was lovely all staff very helpful, my room is spacious but best bit is the bed it has to be the most comfortable bed I have slept in.

Had a two night stay attending a course. My room was lovely and quiet and the bed very comfortable. Excellent choice at breakfast and also a lunch was provided. Evening meal was extra but delicious. Found all staff to be very friendly and helpful . Had a free shuttle bus to the station. Other facilities such as pool & jacuzzi which I didn't use but other members of the course did and no complaints there either. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

5th time staying here, and we have had the best room ever ....The staff have been great from reception to kitchen...Lovely breakfasts and lovely to relax in the pool and steam room and Jacuzzi..

Room good staff very helpful only criticism is the food, not sure the tomato soup was soup tasted like puree tinned tomatoes main was ok but potatoes cold and dessert was adequate, three proffiter rolls. Would have liked a choice

Lovely room & staff but bad service in restaurant, had to wait an eternity for drinks orders and when they arrived were wrong and had to be sent back.

Breakfast looked lovely but was really cold & couldn't be eaten �

Came to pay bill this morning and was charged extra for our 12 year old dinner. I wouldnt mind but before we dined the waitress checked with reception and they informed us that we had £25 each to spend on food only

Left a bad taste in our mouths and will definitely not be going again soon

Room was beautiful eventhough we paid for a suite so it wasn’t cheap.

Just be careful what you are getting before you book as we were let down

Went to a boxing event and whilst the event was very good the hotel just lacked organisation, no leadership at all.

Bar service terrible (not blaming the staff) only two staff working.

Food was fine that they served but the head of staff was useless staff had no idea what they were supposed to do.

No bar table service which meant massive queues of guests trying to get served.

Why not get 4 waitresses to take orders from a section or the guests then take the order to bar and return (simples) can’t comment on rooms etc as never stayed there. Certainly not on my recommendation list. Felt sorry for the hard working staff.

Waste of time from start to finish rude staff and a executive room which was next to a road which would be a stand room anywhere else. Stay away

Not only have I chased my "missing laundry" six times I have checked out and I am still chasing it... 4pm I call to follow up after a conversation with the on duty manager this morning and she promised me a call before 4 to keep me informed. Then I get someone tell me "the GM is literally speaking to someone about it right now" (SURE- that's believeable) and he will call you right back...... its gone 8pm over 4hrs later and still waiting for this update.

The hotel itself wasn't a great stay before the missing laundry if I'm being honest... coffee & milks weren't replaced on cleaning, bath had a film of dried cleaning products on it like it wasn't rinsed properly and the shower was stupidly hot on the lowest setting, the quilt was like paper and there was no face cloths which I find strange? Small things which I wouldn't moan about but given work foot the bill but the laundry situation I am just not happy that £50 worth of brand new jeans just happed to disappear once given to reception.... And to top it off I have tried calling three times and the phone cuts off when it connects... so I can't get an update by phoning again!!!?

No one can tell me where they are... what kind of service is that.

Hotel ok no issues, but restaurant is awful. Over 2 hours from start to finish, steak is better at a Wetherspoons.. felt for the table staff they were getting complaints from all directions. Marco you reputation is shit. Breakfast was ok.

Following were my experiences and observations during my stay:

1. No phone was there in the room. No way to reach the reception in case of any emergency. This was informed to the receptionist who said someone will come and put it there but this never happened

2. No drinking water in the room

3. Bath shower gel was placed next to the wah basin far away from the bath tub while hand wash was placed in the bathing area

4. Elevator is spooky... Reception is on level 2 but by mistake I pressed 0 as is usually the case. The lift went to 0 but the gate never opened !!! Was stuck in the middle of the night and had to keep sounding the alarm until someone came to help



The only good thing probably about this hotel is that the rooms have heaters
