But as we don't like doing things by halves at Hollands, we've decided to go one better now too - as well as doing it just for the love of seeing cute pets look even cuter, WE will make a donation to Sight Concern Worcestershire for every so many entries we receive. We're aiming to raise £200 for the charity so the more pet pics we receive the more likely we are to hit this target! So what are you waiting for - get snapping!

It is apparently 'world emoji day' today! Well! I'm a bit of a late comer to these funny little pictures (grandma, I know..), but I've grown quite fond of them. Here's one that probably describes us quite well 😎 but what about a slightly more tricky emoji challenge! Describe your day using only emoji's and we'll see if we can guess what you've been up to!!

I've got some JUICY news for you this evening....hah....juicy...geddit?! Ah, the hilarity. An interesting study coming out of Australia has shown that eating oranges regularly can help prevent AMD. Delicious!

We have a new YouTube channel! Over the coming weeks and months we'll be adding hints and tips and useful info videos so remember to check us out! Our very first video is especially for kids, giving them some advice about how to look after their spectacles! (Tho remember - no matter how good they are accidents happen so always feel free to pop in for adjustments or repairs. We always love seeing you!)

Although the building was bare, you still went out of your way to get them fixed before she went on her school trip to Normandy! I should have recorded her reaction. She could see again!! My family have been going to Holland Opticians for over 6 years. We have always enjoyed the personal service and their people focused approach. Holland has recently changed hands and we are delighted to find they have retained their traditional, family focused values whilst updating their range and services. The staff are always happy, friendly and approachable. We have always had Mr Styles see to us. He is an excellent optometrist who has done wonders for my children's eyes.

I have been taking my son to see Derek Styles for approximately 4 years he is very friendly and professional and I love the way he talks to him about what he is doing rather than me. My son has now finished with Derek but I am back again now with my daughter after she started complaining about similar issues. It takes me about an hour to get to them but it is worth the drive. Highly recommend them :)

Extremely satisfied with level of attention and service I have received over several years.

Exceptional eye test from Kirsty. By far the most thorough and in depth test I've ever had. She was also just lovely, very professional and reassuring. My new Tiffany glasses are so beautiful and I'm over the moon. The glasses fitters are also very friendly and professional and the receptionists are always welcoming and helpful. Thank you.
