Yesterday, I brought my first bearded dragon, I heard that their bearded dragons weren't looked after very well so I was nervous about buying one from there. However, when I went to pick one out, they were extremely healthy! I was helped by Katy who gave me amazing advice about my bearded dragon and helped me out with a lot of things regarding him, answered all of my questions and was really courteous and well mannered. She also reassured me that if I had any enquiries that I contact them again for advice and reassured me that they still care about all of their animals, even after they have been sold. Thanks to her expertise, my dragon has settled in already, just after one day! And is also eating very well. I really can't thank her enough for everything she's done! I would highly recommend the holly bush for purchasing any reptile as they are all looked after super well and are all very healthy and cared for!

User

Very nice with a lot of the kids to look at the fish and the animal part is amazing my litttlens love watching the ants and see what they are doing and the fish part is amazing for just a garden centre. The garden bit is good priced and easy to get round

User

Took my little boy (2 years old) to see Father Christmas today. He was so good with him and spoke to him about the fairy lights around the grotto to get him over his shyness. Every Father Christmas my son has seen he has refused to look at, let alone talk to. By the end of the visit my son was chatting away and shaking Father Christmas's hand. The goody bag was lovely too. Very pleased. Thank you Merry Christmas

User

Today we went to see Santa with my 4 year old and 6 month old! Fantastic value for money! It was the best Santa and Mrs Claws I have met in a long time. We booked online and then only had to wait in a 5 minute que at our time slot. Our son was amazed that Santa knew his elf's names and what he wanted for Christmas (you state it when you do the booking online). Would recommend anyone to go and we will be returning next year!

User

My son had a lovely time seeing Santa Claus and had a lovely gift of him too...thank you to the management who very kindly re appointed our visit with no extra charge because of the snow and us having to cancel . My son loves looking around at the decorations and the fishes.

User

Me and my Autistic son love our visits here, looking at the animals, rideing the train and now playing in the sand area. Such a relaxed and happy place for us

User

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Angela and Dave in the plant area for putting aside the planter and letting us collect on Saturday. It's fabulous customer service and saved me having to drive for 4 hrs with one in the back of the car. Thanks again!!! X

User

I love this place. I've been approach for paying for items in certain areas once due to fact they are all different businesses inside of one whole place. Never bothered me. Now I pay for anything in that department. I've even done 4 separate purchases in one day. My opinion is that this place it lovely and customer service is great. Even when rushed off their feet no question or job is ever bothering them. They always do their best. Well done team

Haven't been here for a while and l was pleasantly surprised with the array of garden supplies. Had visited the restaurant before and we enjoyed a steak sandwich and cup of tea. Be back again when the miniature railway open. Absolutely love this garden centre.

User

Fantastic place for all the family!! Came here a few weeks ago to visit the garden centre and buy tropical fish and we loved it! Helpful staff, huge range in the shop and very affordable prices too! Our 16 month old little boy loved looking at all the animals in the pet area and the fish too & after he played on the park and had something to eat and drink! So good we booked to come back to see Santa! After the snow at the weekend we had to rebook and unfortunately there was a mix up with times :( But a massive thank you to such helpful staff as within 20 mins had opened the grotto for him to see Santa rather than turn us away. Can't thank you all enough! Will definitely be back in the summer for him to enjoy the train too!

User

Beautiful garden center, with lots of options and every thing you need for gardening. Also has aquaria, again great choices and all that is needed is there. Has a huge restaurant area on first floor with good food options, hot and cold. Farm fresh fruits and veges are available as well. Big free parking, courteous staff, reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.

User

Absolutely love this garden centre! They have been so helpful with the purchase of my bunny and all his food/living equipment. The staff are fabulous and always remember us when we come back for more supplies. One young man in particular - think his name is Mitchell - has been wonderful throughout and definitely deserves a Christmas bonus!

User

It's in a very nice area...nice and peaceful..big space..loads to see and a nice cafe upstairs..chattie ice cream van outside...pleasant bloke...quality items...sometimes a bit expensive..overall a good place to go..takes a fee hours to see it all...it's got a bit of everything in there I'll give it a four ...

User

I took my little boy there & he loved looking at the animals & there was plenty of other stuff to look at. I didn't buy anything as with most garden centres, they are all over priced for most things. I did eat there & the restaurant was lovely & the staff helpful.

My only complaint is the lift to take u up to the restaurant is too small & very basic considering the amount of people with prams & elderly people that use it. They maybe need to invest in a more modern one.

User

To be fair it's very overpriced compared to most bought some garden ornaments from b & m and exactly the same ones here £5 pound more service not that brilliant either only come here as a last resort

User

Food is always very nice and the staff in the restaurant are always happy to help.

However, (in my opinion) some of the older staff in the Garden Centre treat you in a dismissive way when asking for help or advice.

User

today went into hollybush to buy outdoor lights, which are not cheep, got two boxes went to the first check out to a miserable lady and I asked if I only needed one set could I take one back if not opened and was told no refund only exchange, then she went on to show me they worked which was ok but customer service is bad to say the least, we all know hollybush makes millions and they cant even refund if item is not needed poor show

User

The carpark has been altered. The back entrance - the first turn into the carpark says coaches only so i carry on and now find the other turning a No Entry!! You can go round and round the carpark now and never find the exit once youre actually in it now!!

And what are the till assistants on!? I was stopped 20 feet from the exit as i dodged past the tills to be told I have to walk around the tills not through them!! There is no signage to say i cannot walk through the till aisles!! JOBS WORTH!!

User

Not very pleased with the customer service as i purchased over £200 worth of fish with one having white spot which i didn't realise as I got told the fish was attacked by other fish took it home within 2 weeks this fish has wipped out my whole tank I called holly bush up to resolve this matter and they didn't really care just kept fobbing me off i won't be using this shop again
