House of couture bridal boutique is situated at
119 - 121 chepstow road, newport. South wales . Np19 8bz. 01633 547080.
We are a family run business with decades of experience, with which we pass onto you through our personal consultation service.
We have bridal gowns , bridesmaids dresses , flower girl dresses , formal and Highland wear hire, alteration service, bridal accessories and we are specialised in themed weddings.
It can be difficult to keep track of the variety in bridal trends, but our personal consultant will help to set you on the bridal path for you.
While you are at our boutique we will help you explore your personality by showing you different combinations and variations for you to find your dream dress ! ! ! ! ! ! Maybe you would prefer to use our in house designer / dressmaker to create your couture /themed dress. The choice is there for you to explore.
We have an in house alteration service that is done by our very talented team, also available to outside brides, groom and wedding party whom haven't purchased there dress /suit from us .
Grooms look no further for your wedding attire as we hire formal and Highland wear . Not sure on your size? No problem we will measure you free of charge and can help with coordinating your outfit.

Picked up my daughters wedding dress today, which Val had altered and customised. I have to say her work is amazing and she made us feel like part of her family and didn't bat an eyelid when my Grand daughter had a screaming tantrum in the middle of a fitting. Val is a whizz with a needle and a truly lovely lady. Thankyou Val for helping to make my daughter become the most beautiful bride xx
Love this lady, she is just like a fairy godmother, just telll her what you want n she will do her uomost to accomodate you. Her prices are very reasonable, her work is fab-im sure she could do her work with her eyes closed! And finally Val is extremely reliable, if she says it will be ready then it will be.
Just picked my dress up from Val who did a fantastic job at altering it ready for my wedding on Friday. Such a lovely welcome - the cup of tea was lovely! Would highly recommend for any of your bridal needs. The dresses in her shop look really lovely. Thank you so much. x
I took my wedding dress into val and asked her to make daughters first holy communion and she did the most stunning dress i have ever seen for her . Thank you so so so much val
I have just been for my final fitting after Val's alterations to my dress. My dress now fits me like a glove thanks to Val's magic hands, my dress needed a few alterations and nothing was too much trouble for Val. I also had the pleasure of meeting her amazing assistant tonight the lovely Miley. If I ever need any alterations again I will go to Val before I go anywhere else. Thank you Val and Miley from a very happy bride to be xx
I cannot speak highly enough of Val! From the moment I met her she made me feel at ease! Aside from being a very talented seamstress she is a wonderful lady and I am so grateful she was part of our wedding preparations! You made me feel so comfortable, you were wonderful and a voice of reason when I had a ãwobbleã and I instantly felt that my dress was in safe hands and you did a beautiful job of the changes you made beyond the idea and vision I did and you created a gorgeous veil for me! Thank you, Val for all your hard work to make me feel incredible on what was the best day of my life! ÿ¢§
From trying on dresses to the final fitting, Val and co did everything possible to make me feel amazing for the special day! My dress was perfect and Val was so willing to make alterations and ensured the fit was at its best. She even took time to show my bridesmaids twice how to do up and undo the dress ready for the day.
Felt so welcome, assured and comfortable throughout the whole wedding dress part of the big day thanks to Val. Top lady! Thank you so much xx

A big thank you to Val for alerting my wedding dress to fit me like a glove. A lot of altering was needed to my dress from taking in everywhere, straps being adjusted, dress being shortened amongst other things and to Val this was not a problem at all. She made my dress trials special and exciting !! I would highly recommend Val for alterations and I will actually miss popping in lol. If you need a seamstress go and see Val xx
