The food and drink was loverly xx staff where very nice don t like ordering at table takes long always go to bar out self to order xx

Food was delicious and the service and waiting time was excellent. Served by Katie who served us with a smile and was very polite.

Beautiful food at a fantastic price...friendly atmosphere..Will be coming back again for sure...not much waiting time either...very clean pub..highly recommend a visit..you won't be disappointed

Tea & toast was fine. The young man who served us was very nice & helpful.

Food was good and fresh. Something I did notice was the lack of table clearing. Was bought my food to a table cluttered with food and glasses left by previous customers. Requested to have it cleared just the rubbish removed-no cleaning table of stale food debris! ! Cleaned it myself with a baby wipe. When u look round half the empty tables were left with empty glasses and food debris . I witnessed 3 customers walk out refusing to order.

Apart from having to wait at the bar 5 minutes before Any staff appeared to take our order, it was a nice experience. The food was lovely and the prices weren't too bad. Definitely recommend it for the food , but the staffing issues need to be looked at.

The food was really nice but the service was crap . We waited ages for somebody to come to us and then we had to ask him to clean the table. Our food came out before our drinks. They really need to get this table service sorted out.

The food at the interceptor has always been very nice and 9/10 times the order is correct when comes to table .... we are regular customers and never usually have a problem .... staff have always been lovely apart from

on the last few recent visits we have been served by one waitress in particular and her attitude towards customers is disgusting .... I work with customers myself and i would never speak to my customers like how she spoke to us ... when everything is going right for her she is fine .... when confronted with an issue she turns stroppy and gives attitude I have already complained about her on one occasion and yet again we have had the attitude....

Food was mediocre. Staff very rude women

Who served me was very abrupt I asked if she’d take our drinks over to the table

As I’m in a wheelchair she gave me the worst look in the world like I’d asked to climb up

The chimney to retrieve the top brick. With attitude she stormed off with our drinks � plonked them on the table an stormed back off again. There’s no need for rudeness. Sorry won’t be back !!!

Display told you to grab a table and order at the bar.� All menus at the table could do with wipe over - bench seat needed a wipe over �- ordering was done no problems .� Mug of tea served in a cracked well worn mug �. No where to put tea bag �..so put clean tissues under them. Cutlery came all ok but dried sauce inside bucket.� 2 x sharing platters arrived to be honest it was fried to death & the cheese on the nachos was rubbish (no taste)� . Had sharing ice cream �which went down better than the platters.

I liked the wall art like Led Zepplin,� tv shows for kids & kiosk games ...

Not impressed with cleanliness of tables /benches/ menus/mugs.� Watched removal & cleaning of table but wench left crumbs still on table.� Service was fine chap was friendly.�

Food wasn't the best �& wish I had gone to well known fast chicken take away- I would of had a lot more for my money & cleaner.



Room for Improvement if they care to read & action� ...it could be a great place �

When The interceptor first openend its doors it was a friendly welcoming pub, but as of late it has gone down hill. Walked in yesterday to have a meal and walked straight back out as it was filthy, food under every table not one table was clean, no staff in sight . The outside eating area was as bad such a shame as previous visits here had been very good

Waited 40 minutes for a 3oz gammon, plate had been left under heat lamp, all food burnt on top, nearly broke tooth on dried chips, when asked if ok I said it's terrible, she just giggled, wasn't that busy, so dread to think what it's like when it is busy

The place is deceiving

It has a comfortable feel and bar staff reasonably friendly ...

Oh and it serves crabbies ginger ale my personal favourite drink ...

Overpriced food which i could buy from Iceland for a fiver and be more appealing and taste better ...

This has the making of s good place but the food needs an URGENT RETHINK especially for what they are charging !!!

I wouldn't eat from here again until they sort out the food

Service was very slow,waited 30 minutes for children's puddings,

- staff walked past our table various times but still ignored our platĺes ,cutlery very dirty.

My meal came out like warm, sent it back and it seems they only microwaved it to warm it up. Not impressed at all.

U are only getting 2 ** cause I think the waitress are over worked and underpaid

13 people for a birthday celebration, food was excellent just a shame the customer service was bad! Sarcastic staff, arsy like everything was too much effort for them maybe they simply cannot cope with so many people at once. Shame because never had a bad experience before now. When booking the manager was lovely and accommodating pity her staff let the side down on the night!

with 5 colleagues all 6 of us ordered a breakfast told a 25 minute wait understandable so said that was fine took 45 minutes for the 5th order to arrive after enquiringly into my own order they said would be a additional 25 minutes as they hadn’t done it unacceptable as we all had to return to work so had to have a refund cashier was friendly and apologetic but no servers were. Was offered nothing but an apology with my refund for essentially sitting for nearly a hour while my colleagues had their breakfast a shame aswell as the food and service is usually very good at the interceptor after this however I am unsure as I will bother returning as the service received was so bad, at no point did anyone ask if the meal was ok leaving me to have to flag down a server to enquire into where my order was poor service

visited this pub with my mom for a meal the tables were filthy dirty plates and glasses uncleared tables the bar staff miserable and indifferent.When food arrived after waiting for more than 30mins the food arrived cold.Awful will never use the place again

Wow. What can I say. Been a few times and always liked it but shocking service today. Got seated an waiter took our order. 3 soft drinks and 3 main meals. Got told food was 30 minutes wait. That was fine so we thought have our drinks and have a chat. Waited 10 minutes for drinks and nothing so we asked the waitress, said she'd sort it. 10 minutes later still no drinks so I asked someone else. Ended up getting our food before our drinks. Over 30 mins for 3 drinks. Used to be able to go to the bar to order food and drinks but not anymore. 1 star rating for me

Went yesterday 10th April with my husband and daughter NEVER AGAIN we gave them our orders both mine and my husband's wasn't available so I ordered lasagne when I eventually got it it was cold in the middle so sent it back then my husband's came out the mushy peas was rock hard and cold my daughter had beef dinner the meat was like leather and the mash was cold so got the manager had our money back absolutely disgusting

Went in for a quick pint before the cinema. Pint of Abbots was like malt vinegar, I cleared my own table while staff giggled leaning in the bar.



It wasn't busy at all by the way and toilets smelt really bad. Glad I didn't eat.



When I told the staff it seemed trivial and got weak excuses.





New Square and west Bromwich need better restaurants than this if it is going to be a success long term.

Waited half hour for mine and my moms food yet by the time ours had come out my brothers had finished their meals!! My meal had 4-5 chips on the plate and my skewers the onions and peppers were burnt to a crisp!!! Their is not enough staff behind the bar and cutlery ALWAYS left on the tables Awful experience!!!!

This is such a grubby place the menus are all covered in food and drink the tables and cutlery are unclean. Ordered a lasagna and it was burned and the salad it came with was wilted and black around the edges! Seriously how can they serve food not fit for consumption! Absolute sh**t hole! Stick to Nandos people!

Terrible Terrible service waited 40 minutes for food then another 40 minutes for deserts which never came complained to the manager who was not interested and said he would have a word with the kitchen staff and they had been busy the place was not even busy, I wonder why! stay well clear if you want a decent meal with decent service !!

Service was absolutely appalling throughout our visit and food wasn't much better.



Food was lukewarm when it arrived, burgers were burnt and there were pieces of eggshell in the fried egg. 2 of the hot desserts were burnt, but the custard was cold. The cheesecake was still frozen in the middle.



One member of staff (think her name was Sienna) had a disgusting attitude and way of behaving-shoving desserts in front of us without clearing dinner plates away, throwing spoons on the table and walking off while rolling her eyes.



Would give 0 stars if this was an option, but unfortunately it isn't, so they get 1 very underserved star!

Sadly gone down hill since they “improved “ the menu and hiked the prices. Table service, a lady with an iPad that serves everyone else before you and back bacon advertised and streaky supplied. Toast resembled cardboard and was inedible. Will not be frequenting this establishment again.

Really disappointed with my visit yesterday, ordered two cocktails, which wasn't in very nice glasses at all , also ordered two dinners which were both beef burgers, they were probably the worst beef burgers we had ever had they were both very very well done dry has anything the cheese was hanging halfway of one of the burgers, also notice the tables were very sticky, had to move a couple of times to try and find a clean table, (you need to use clean cloths too clean the tables)

Really disappointed with my visit here today. We waited 45 minutes for our food, which is a long time when you’ve got two 17 months old babies waiting. Was not told about the wait when ordering food. When the food finally came it was cold and over cooked. We also didn’t have any knives and forks to which the waiter said I’ll bring some over now, he went off and didn’t return. We then had to ask someone else for knives and forks after waiting 10 minutes, by then our food was defiantly cold. We were offered replacements but didn’t want to wait again as babies were unsettled as it was. Came here for a nice meal with family and didn’t expect for it to be ruined by easily avoided mistakes. It’s a shame but will always think twice about returning in the future.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would all due to the unprofessional manner of one of the managers! Asked if we were illiterate and was extremely rude when we were trying to explain what happened. It was her staff that cocked up not us.

Had the tikka curry how do you manage to get burnt food in the mango chutney, stale popadom and rotten onions all on one meal. Never again thought the last meal I had there was bad but gave it a 2nd chance. Won't be going there again.

Food was so disgusting and disappointing! Ordered a burger and literally it fell apart and ended up like slosh on my plate, bacon was vile like it was cooked in dirty burned oil wish I could upload the picture I have 🤢 and my kids chips were definitely cooked left on the side then cooked again absolutely vile! And the place wasn’t even busy!

Tried to complain but staff did not have a clue!

Customer service was diabolical as usual, lipstick stained glass returned to bar and was told to wait then second member changed glass with no apology. Tv was put on where we were sitting so loud and no one else was sitting in the area. We moved to another area as we couldn’t hear our selves think. Shame West Bromwich hasn’t another pub in the shopping centre and then they may pull their socks up.

Customer service is crap, really long wait for food and ignored at the bar.. however staff bringing food were nice

The stake been over cooked twice too the point you couldn’t even cut it

The food comes out and it is cold and not are complete order so half of the family was left waiting for food for 20 mins the drinks was watered down you could see the separation on the top of the glass for thouse that order meat it was hard and dry my sister couldn’t even eat her food as it was dry and the bread was so over cooked you might have well given her toast ....... such a shame as this was spouse too be for my sons four birthday !!! Not happy at all

Awful experience we ordered 2 full monty mixed grills and requested an extra egg instead of pineaple as we don't eat pineaples with our meals but apparently the cheff refused it said he couldn't do it not sure exactly why but never mind he offered onion rings or tomatoes so we took onion rings although that's not what we wanted..after waiting a long time for our meals to arrive they finally came but with things missing chicken and the extra onion rings instead of that pineaple..after mentioning that to the waitress she went and got the chicken breasts that looked and tasted awful it looked old and like it's just been warmed up not freshly prepared it didn't even look like it was cooked on the grill at all..tomato was disgusting smelled bad and looked old and soggy and noone from the waiting team even came to ask if everything was ok with our meal but were determined to take the plates away even though one of us were still eating..i strongly don't recommend this place it's a waste of money and time go anywhere else but this place

After waiting for 45 minuets for food mine came wrong by the time it came back everyone else had almost finished their meals and if I’m honest it was not nice at all the chips were cold and the chicken over cooked my daughters food was over cooked and dry she was very disappointed, during our meal one off the kitchen staff we think a chef stormed out of the kitchen shouting at the top of her voice which was slightly disturbing and very unprofessional so over all our experience was very poor which is a shame as we have had nice meals there in the past will make me think twice about coming back

After being spoke to in a rude manner while waiting in rather large ques we walked out and went to harvester instead (where the tables and floors are clean and with polite staff!) Normally I'd have complained to the manager only I'm pretty sure it was the manager that was rude!...I wasn't the only customer to do this either....muttering remarks to customer's because of which way the lines were going when there was no where else to stand is a joke, i'd hate to see how he talks to staff if thats how he treats paying customers...Wont go there again.
