We had the large cod and chips , no joke it's huge . Also the strongbow dark fruits slushies are so moreish. Service was great and pricing is spot on.

It was my daughters 18th birthday last night and we celebrated it at our local as we are always made to feel welcome and at home there � Nothing was too much trouble for the team� food was excellent and considering there was nearly 70 � of us it came in a very timely manner and was fab � must say a mahoosive thank you to Sam and Emma for their organisation last night, you were ������� Can't recommend the place enough, thanks guys, Ellie had the best night there �� see you all soon �����

A fantastic meal here today following a huge disappointment at my local Castleview a few weeks ago. No unavailable items, everything arrived in perfect condition. We'll use this branch from now on. We were given an apology that it was slow & was short staffed but you wouldn't think so as everything was so efficient. Thank you guys.

Me and my boyfriend went on the 7th of may. And we had lovely dinner and starter gd atmosphere it was clean. And staff was very helpful

I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here, I go quite often, good value for money and friendly staff

Good pub good meals and drinks was really impressed the toilets just need doing out but besides from that really good :)

Last few times we have been the food has been cold and have been unable to eat. We won’t be going again.

As we used to be regulars we thought we would try it out last night after the make over, me & my Father-in-law had mini mixed grill which were lovely both kids had Nuggets but my partner's smothered steak sizzler didn't seem very big to how it was,he ended up having beans on toast when we got home! The kids had the meal deal but the Candymania just seemed to be chucked together hardly any malteasers/m&m's 1 twix and no Cookie's, very dissapointed as the Parks now gone no kids machine's and no colouring for kids to do definitely not child friendly now and won't be in a rush to go back any time soon!!

Arrived on time...took ages to get served at bar. After 30 mins we were told no burgers so 4 of our party had to choose again. Food came no mushrooms, again advised run out but no alternative offered. Steak ordered medium but came out well done....in fairness they gave us free desserts but part of party had gone home. Not sure if I would go back...As it was my daughter's 25th birthday meal I was really dissapointed.

Well tbh i dont know where to start.... was part of a family meal out last night and the experience was only what i can describe as surreal..... first off we were greeted by being told repeatedly that they were short staffed (not our problem) then the orders were all wrong due to them not being organised at all, the meal had been pre ordered weeks before only to be told they didnt have enough steak !!..... so we were all seated waiting for starters they came sporadically so not all eating together... staff very rude practically threw the starters on the table in front of us..... now im not one to complain but this was terrible customer service. I appreciate that they were understaffed but thats no excuse at all. One member of staff was constantly coughing and sneezing whilst serving us.... (she probably should have been at home) ..... im still in shock tbh... food was edible just about but ide eaten my dessert 20 min before my hubby was served his..... hense to say wont be returning... we heard lots if people complaing so wasnt just us.... if you cant cope with xmas rush then dont advertise it...... we spent ALOT of money in your establishment last night and tbh feel a bit cheated. No proffesionality at all by your staff.... was a case of the right arm not knowing what the left was doing.. bar staff were more professional and very friendly... �

Usually good food with good service. We went for my sister in laws birthday and were less than impressed. After waiting ages to be served at the bar, we placed our food orders and paid for our meals. Around 20 minutes later we were told that there were no burgers, therefor 4 of our party of 10 had to order alternatives. When the food did come, there were no mushrooms on any of the meals, it was only then we were told they’d run out of those also! There was no peppercorn sauce other than a spoonful that came in the smallest serving boat I’ve ever seen. Free deserts/drinks were later offered for the inconvenience but by then, half of the party had already gone home. Not impressed at all with the meal but the lady who served us was very apologetic about the whole situation.

There was 8 of us eating. Food was ordered then 10 minutes later I was told that the meal I chose was not available and being vegan left me no other choice so chips and a dried up falafel it was. 3 out of 8 meals arrived with a long wait for the others to arrive. While waiting for desserts I was again told that my torte wasn’t available even though it had been ordered approximately an hour before ( again the only vegan choice) the other desserts were bought out except one which had to be chased up 5 minutes later. We won’t be returning

Had a meal last night for my 24th Wedding anniversary with my family and was most disappointed. Have been here a few times because it’s my local but had to wait for an hour to get our food. I asked for my steak medium and it was cremated. If I had asked for it well done it would have been done too much. The chips were all mushed up and the table by me had complained. Thoroughly spoilt my night. Had arranged to go back there to meet friends but will suggest somewhere else now. Think it Will be a long time before I go back for another meal.

Always use this place being a family off 10 quite regularly till tonight was disappointed with the service... been ringing since 2pm to book a table no answer till about 5pm to be told not taking bookings to walk in & will be seated quickly as possiable. To get there to be told I should have booked.. & was spoken too with attitude. Will use somewhere else in the future

I came here the other day with a friend and the food was RIDICULOUS! I used to rant and rave about this place but with food looking the way it did and tasting the way it did, sadly this will be an end of an era. No fryer working so could not get chips or anything else fried. Asked for Medium rare steak and got well done. Eggs had a real bad smell so we left them. Sausages tasted old and dry. Gammon was as hard as the plate it was served on. The best thing was the free dessert but damn, How can you serve food out like that? You guys had an awesome reputation as I have been coming here years, way back from when you used to do the Mixed grills with unlimited eggs option. Totally shocking! Embarassing that I took a friend there after ranting and raving about the place.

Food service slow & chips stone cold. Husbands chicken wasnt cooked properly, no table check 2 make sure everythings ok. Place virtually empty for a sat nyt, can c y now. Also overheard someone else complaining whilst there. My daughter also did not eat hers, the sausages looked raw in places. Shall not be re-visiting.
