Went last night , had a lovely meal , staff very attentive , will be back very soon , keep up the good work . �

Well after my very first visit here I was very impressed i was with a party of 20 and can not beleive how fast all of our meals came out i had ordered the chicken skewers which were delicious and very good size meal for the price all staff were lovely will definitely be visiting again and recommend to friends thankyou

Very good food and service and the apple crumble with custard was delicious. Staff were friendly and the toilets were clean and the clientele are very respectable and BT Sport was live too. Recommend it to everybody looking for a good meal and a nice drink. ��

There were 19 people for a family get together and two large tables were prepared in an area where we we on our own. The meal was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have done this and will deffinatley like to go back there in the future.

Good food for the price, very convenient for us when having my dad with me who is in a wheelchair. Staff r happy and polite.

For the third year running Sheila and I had our Christmas Lunch in this excellent establishment. As per usual the food was great and plenty of it. Jason the manager and his staff were friendly,efficient and very attentive.We will definitely be booking up for next Christmas as well as our regular visits during the year because we’ve never had a bad meal yet. Well done to Jason and his team.

Despite being extremely busy, our party was well looked after and the food was very good. I had the mixed grill, which was cooked exactly how I like it [medium rare].This was a late Christmas meal for work colleagues and we were very pleased with the overall standard of presentation and service.

Amazing pudding after main course, I love my fish and chips, great meal xx

My family and friends had a lovely evening. It was a great night, all round. The staff were very friendly nothing to much for them, service with a smile which was really nice. Thank you hungry Horse ( Steam Turbine)

Good service, nice and chilled atmosphere. Sat in the garden enjoying the beer and Sun.

Food was good came out fast booked table and table was available as soon as we got there

For what it is, it isn't bad. I would expect a more care taken when preparing the meals. Bacon is somewhat anaemic. Burgers can be over done as can the chicken. The steaks seem to come out exactly as you request which is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful which does make all the difference. Only grumble is I'd wish they'd stop asking if everything's ok...!! If it really isn't then I'll say.

Food came out quick, but when I cut into mine there was a very long hair under my food...... do the kitchen staff wear hair nets?? They made me another meal which was very nice.

Have to say after the last couple of meals here I am very disappointed . Used to be one of my favourite places. My fella had the mixed grill last time he went and the chicken was like slop as it is steamed, now mixed grill means grilled food not steamed. Went there last night for a 50th and my daughters meal was awful as chicken was covered in hot spicy BBQ sauce and cheese which they don't say anything about hot and spicy, also she asked for no cheese. The meal was taken back and requested no BBQ sauce and no cheese, they then brought out a fresh meal with sauce in a jug and cheese all over the chicken. Also asking for breaded mushrooms and they said sorry we don't have any this on last two occasions , yet they advertise them on one of their meals to share, but don't sell them 🤔🤔🤔. Think they need to change their menu if that is the case. Also couple of the staff very rude and ignorant and don't listen .

So I had an email saying we miss you here’s a voucher we had been coming less due to quality going down hill. Brought my sons yesterday for ones 16th birthday. Needless to say it’s put us off for good. We used to come once a week.

I had the fish and chip platter which was completely over cooked including the chips and the curry sauce had split leaving watery parts and thick sauce parts, the bread was dry and stale, my partner had a double bacon cheese burger with about 7 over cooked fries it was pitiful, my sons egg on his 15oz gammon was cremated so were his chips, burgers were over cooked and dry!

The chips must have been re fried to be as over done as they were. The batter was so dark brown I don’t know how the chef can send it out looking like that.

Now we know why we stopped coming.

Refused to serve my sons who were starving hungry despite one being 17. Wow what a great family restaurant. You must be very proud.

Not a lot still waiting for pudding ,looks like this pudding is not coming have to leave without it .
