Infusion Emporium Description
Infusion Emporium is a fusion bellydance event in Wolverhampton, which brings international and home-grown talent together into one event. The event was founded in November 2011, beginning with a showcase of British fusion talent.
The Spring edition of IE ('Infusion Emporium presents. . . . ') focuses on intensive learning situations with one inspirational and established instructor, providing two days of workshops. Beginning in 2014, we will be incorporating a studio showcase for participants of the workshops.
The autumn Infusion Emporium Festival is a 3 day event, with multiple guest instructors; a Friday Masterclass; three days of workshops; a full theatre show showcasing talent from across the UK accompanied by invited international guests; group dinners and the Glitterball Shakedown after party!
Infusion Emporium aims to provide a platform for fusion dancers to showcase their work in a professional theatre environment, while elevating the art form of bellydance and its various fusions to the stage. We aim to bring together the bellydance community and to provide a quality show which dispels the myths and misconceptions surrounding bellydance, growing the fusion styles within the UK by educating and surprising the general public audience.
We aim to give British and European dancers the opportunity to share the stage with top quality international dance stars and providing opportunities to strengthen and broaden their skills through provision of training opportunities with these dancers.
Based in the Midlands, Infusion Emporium is in the ideal location for easy reach from all over the UK and Europe.
