So yesterday I received a call from Mark Billingham MBE has he had an event and was struggling to setup his AV (Audio Visuals) he had rented a 5k projector from a company that dropped it off but wouldn't set it up....
So at 4:30 I shot to to the venue set everything up and then had 30 mins to get to my event.
All in a days work.

We like to think that we are able to take the stress out of booking a DJ and like to think that we will give you full satisfaction and peace of mind when booking with us.
We offer a free, no obligation consultation. In the consultation we tailor a quote to your event needs and give you information on all of the required legalities that a DJ needs. We then give you 14 days to confirm the booking. If we don't hear from you in 14 days then we don't pester you, we understand that you have chosen somone else.
J.A.B.S Event Hire have 20 DJs that work for us. At any one time we will only book out 17 DJs as this allows us to guarantee you a DJ at your event, even if your DJ is ill, unlike one man band DJs who will have to let you down or worse, pass your event onto someone who they do not know and don't know how much experience they have (unfortunately we see this happen on a weekly basis).

Our office hours are limited to Tuesday-Thursday 10.30-17.00 (excluding Christmas week). This is due to the fact that our busiest days for events are Friday-Sunday with Monday as our day off, unless we have events booked in.

hi what an amazing time you gave people with learning disabilities well done .... my daughter has special needs we didnt know bout this one at walsall night club id lv to bring her along to next one brillant to see it on tv my daughter friend was on there too ..... well done

We had jamie dj at our wedding on 14th feb after seeing him at our friends wedding. He was an absolute star, very helpful and professional. He played all our requests and kept our guests dancing all night. We had loads of people comment and say he was a nice, friendly fella and fab dj. We will definitely book him again for any future parties and we highly recommend him!!

We booked jay's disco on the 28th April 2018 We were well impressed with everything Jay did at the wedding nothing is too much for them. Jay gave us the consultation at our house and he sold the business to use and very reliable service as promised I would definitely recommend jay's disco to anyone and I wouldn't hesitate in booking them again money well spent

We are so glad we asked Jay’s Disco to DJ at our wedding on 2nd April at the Mill Barns!! They were so professional, reliable and a good laugh. They played all music requested and more. No request was too much. Even all the J-Lo songs, haha! Thank you for making our wedding day extra special x

The company and staff over all are absolutely fantastic very entertaining and like to please everyone. Always go beyond themselves to make sure the nights are rememberable. Prices are very good and wosh the company the best and hope all enjoy there nights as we did

We left Barry a long list of songs and he played them all aswell as other requests. The dance floor was full all night. Thank you so much for a great night. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Jay went above and beyond to make our wedding reception perfect, reading the room like an absolute boss! Even protecting me from a blood-sucking gnat at one point (thanks again). I went to Jay's disco in a night club on Wednesday night it was great but it was too loud and we ever have a conversation with each oyher it would be best if they turned the music down a bit so people could talk!!!

Had Jay for a lot of gigs including my 21st, engagement party and many more fundraisers and sporting presentations, some of his other Dj's who were also outstanding professional employee's have done some nights! overall I have booked Jay's disco's 16 times in 3 years and will continue to book them and spread their name to as many people as possible! Best company you could possibly wish to be hosting your special event! Keep up the good work guys!

Attended a wedding that these guys provided the entertainment at in July and had a fantastic night. Dance floor was always full and Jay kept the crowd entertained all night. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a disco �

Absolutely outstanding disco last night for my daughters 13th birthday party, totally made the night. Spoke to my daughter first to find out exactly what sort of music she wanted & that's exactly wha he played for her. Very friendly & professional service cannot fault in anyway, everyone loved it & had a wonderful night can't thank you enough & will definitely be recommending you to everyone xx

I have to be perfectly honest ... dj wasn't fully set up when myself an my husband an our guests had just arrived so there was no music playing ... an then when he finally did set up he was in an out having a fag ... but when he did finally get going the music was ok but not what we had asked for on our play list but overall it was a gud nyt an after requesting the songs we liked eventually they did get played so I'm giving it 4 stars as I do like Jay but the dj u sent was a drip he was a bit lapsy daisy

I had really high hopes for this guy- Jay came to ours and showed us so much stuff, lighting and bits which was cool. Had him as a DJ at a work party and was confident he would be great. I found out 2 days before it wouldn't be him for our wedding from my wedding planner at the venue after he said all along he would do our wedding himself. He was ill so not his fault but would have been nice to be told. I also know no DJ is definite as I keep getting told. The guy who turned up didn't really know what was going on- he had my first Dance and 2 other songs but not my play list. By the time the poor guy had sorted it he played them after most people had left and was so apologetic. I had to stop in the middle of my wedding to give him my play list off my phone!! This meant we didn't really get our taste in music but in the end most people danced. We paid for 2 meals and suits for both the guys and then only 1 guy turned up to DJ and the lady taking pictures was in jeans which was not really our wedding theme. We wanted everyone smartly dressed. I wasn't even sure about the lights we got and what we paid for. After my high hopes I was a little disappointed and have emailed twice and been told Jay will respond. Still heard nothing and looking at some of the responses on here I'm worried. After all the amazing people I had on my day I have to say this was my only let down- I made the most of it but not really what we expected. Yes he has lots of DJ's and yes we got one but not fully up to speed. I think you need to be a little more considerate as this was our wedding day and we spent a lot for not a brilliant service.

Songs on replay so dj could go for his fag breaks which yes your entitled to your breaks but when it's affecting the service you need to sort it out as we paid for so called professional !!! Paid to have photos which was told you would have at least 200 we got a measly 95 photos !!! Couldn't understand the dj as all he did was mumble when on the mic !!! Had to ask to turn music up as it was really low ! Over all we had a bad service and due to this I would not recommend you to anyone

After my high hopes I was a little disappointed and have emailed twice and been told Jay will respond. Still heard nothing and looking at some of the responses on here I'm worried. After all the amazing people I had on my day I have to say this was my only let down- I made the most of it but not really what we expected. Yes he has lots of DJ's and yes we got one but not fully up to speed. I think you need to be a little more considerate as this was our wedding day and we spent a lot for not a brilliant service.

Not happy with the service at all !! Songs on replay so dj could go for his fag breaks which yes your entitled to your breaks but when it's affecting the service you need to sort it out as we paid for so called professional !!! Paid to have photos which was told you would have at least 200 we got a measly 95 photos !!! Couldn't understand the dj as all he did was mumble when on the mic !!! Had to ask to turn music up as it was really low ! Over all we had a bad service and due to this I would not recommend you to anyone
