What a great find. Only went cos we were staying nearby. Great food and excellent service. Staff really made us feel special even though the place was really busy. Definitely recommended and would go again.

We have literally just left after our meal, and as well as being delightfully stuffed we are also speechless! Food was absolutely superb & the service made us feel like royalty � The staff were so kind & generous, even giving us some treats and drinks to take with us for our long drive back to Glasgow. A truly amazing experience from the minute we sat down to our fresh tasty food, topped off with some complimentary tea & coffee. We have already arranged for our next visit when we pass through Birmingham in June on our route to London. Thank you so much & we will see you soon! �

We have had a fabulous night at Jilabi tonight. Booked a table for 36 people fir a work reunion and we were given the private room. A few didn't show up but the staff re arranged the tables to sit our party together. The food was amazing. They arranged a set meal for us at a very very good price and it was all fabulous. Staff very attentive and worked really hard to make our night perfect. Honestly couldn't fault it. Thankyou so much for a great night

Visited Jilabi tonight while staying in Birmingham for the night and what a good choice we made!! The food was amazing and the service was even better, having our 22 month old with us they couldn’t have been more welcoming and made such an effort with our son! The food was reasonably priced and probably one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been too! Thank you for an amazing start to our holiday �

What’s that all about

Great food as always but not great service when finishing food. I know the table was needed but to stand waiting with the bill and card machine at the table without asking if we wanted desert. Then when we paid another waiter asked what we were waiting for as my wife was still finishing her drink. Normally very good but this left a sour taste to a good meal.

First time in three years I’ll leave it another three years before I go back service was good , too much at times starter was poor had the chilli chicken garlic and it was very bland the wife had tikka masala again very bland if people think this is the best curry house they need to get out more��

Second time been to Jilabi first visit was v good. This time the opposite. Chicken tikka so dry almost inedible and chicken tikka biryani tasted like it was yesterday’s reheated. Vegetable pilau tasteless. Only good food on this visit was the roti. Very disappointed. May not try a third visit.

Food was ok, but the service was so bad .booked a table but still had to wait 25 mins to be seated. ( this was second time this happened ) why book if your going to be made to wait anyway, then we got a 4 seater table for 6 people. No room for anything on the table.sorry never again.
