JNK is a traditional Wado Ryu Karate club in Solihull that teaches traditional Karate to students of all ages in a family friendly and fun environment.

With nearly 100 years of combined Karate experience, we started JNK to be a family friendly, traditional Karate school that teaches not just self-defence and fighting techniques but also the history, discipline and tradition of Wado Ryu in a fun and enjoyable environment.

We are very proud to have Sensei Phil Martin (7th Dan) as our club President and greatly enjoy the instruction and mentorship of one the UK's most distinguished and accomplished Martial Artists.

You can expect a family friendly atmosphere, especially in the junior classes but also for the more serious students, the adult’s classes are full of junior and senior grades who like to train and exercise hard – with some fun and laughs. JNK provides an enjoyable environment to get exercise, meet new people or to develop into an exceptional Martial Artist. We are a club that caters for all ages and levels of ability, from cadets of 6 yrs and above to Seniors who are looking to stay active. We're proud of our achievements, having trained students from beginner to 4th Dan level and we have been responsible for training dozens of Dan grades.
