We are also one of the first automotive companies to become a diversity champion for Stonewall, the largest LGBT + charity in Europe.

On #NationalMentalHealthDay Mental Health Foundation we’re shedding light on the Never Be Afraid To Ask initiative, conceived by Dean Jones, a team leader at the EMC.
A Saturday afternoon twitter conversation between three life-long friends has led to the creation of an online support initiative ‘Never be Afraid to Ask’, which aims to remove the stigma around mental health and really make a difference. It’s already saved a life.

Well done to a team of EMC volunteers, who have been to St Leonard’s First School in Dunston, working their magic to help transform the outside area at the school into an eco-space.

And so it begins, PTO Town Hall, welcoming everyone to the EMC. #JLRFamily
We're supporting Macmillan Cancer Support with a cake sale today across the facility. The pure joy of our judges, in our very own #BakeOff was evident. Dig deep and donate. Thanks to all the EMC'ers who took time to make such fabulous cakes.
Over the last few weeks we've been asking EMC'ers to put forward their ideas for local charities and organisations that we can support volunteering and fundraising.
Time is now running out and you only have until 10am on Friday 28 September to nominate.
Get in touch, by emailing awoolle1@jaguarlandrover.com, or fill in the nomination form in the latest edition of On Track, to tell us more about your chosen charity and why it's close to your heart.
... Nominated charities must be within a 30 mile radius of the facility and must also fulfil our responsible business criteria:
• Does the charity have a positive impact on the local community? • Does it support our aims to be a responsible and sustainable business; specifically, is there an environment impact of supporting this organisation? • Will the projects that we aim to undertake have a wider impact on support inclusivity and diversity?
Jaguar Land Rover is unable to provide financial support for organisations, so our main focus will be on providing access to skills and experience through volunteering and/or mentoring.

We're looking for EMC'ers to don their aprons and get baking to support Macmillan Cancer Support on Monday 01 October across the facility. If you'd like to create a cake, some delectable doughnuts, or a heavily angel slice, get in touch now and support this very worthy cause. There's even going to be our own version of 'Bake off' with a prize for the winner. Email Nita Perry nperry1@jaguarlandrover.com
Our fantastic chaplain, Rev Jim Perry, is onsite today, based in SS3 canteen until 10:30, then in SS2 canteen until 12:00. Why not pop along and say hello.
To celebrate #InternationalDayofCharity, we have been looking through the various volunteering and charitable projects our employees have been involved in over the last 12 months. More than 200 of you have given up in excess of 1,000 hours to help towards a number of good causes including raising money for charities and helping out in the local communities. Here's a few pictures to remind you of how awesome you are. 👏
We're looking forward to welcoming our new colleagues here at the EMC very soon. #JLRFamily
Throughout this week we’ve been celebrating our furry, four-legged best friends. We’d like to thank everyone who shared their wonderful, heart-warming stories. Here’s our final one. We’ll be announcing the winner of our Land Rover Pet Pack very soon. But in our eyes you’re all #pawsome. Snowy is the best friend of James, whose dad Jon works at the EMC. He says he helps him cope with some very challenging medical conditions and is always there to cheer him up with a cuddle. James said: “Snowy makes me smile when I feel ill and sits by my side until I feel well again. He can sense that I’m going to have a seizure. My dog is very special to me, as my mum and dad always say.” #NationalDogDay #dogsleadtheway #JLRFamily JLR Team Talk Solihull Jaguar Land Rover JLRHalewood JLR Castle Bromwich
