Billy and Clara would like to wish all their friends and customers a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year for 2017
We are doing the North coast 500 and decided we wanted to stay at John O'groats but having not booked just turned up, and the lady could not have been nicer. She gave up a choice of pitch and and gave us a key to the facility's, which were spotlessly clean .Everyone says it is windy but coming from the Lake District I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. We went for a walk in the evening and saw the seals it was just a perfect end to a stay. Thanks for having us and will highly recommend you
The views from this site are breathtaking, lovely site, friendly management, thank you
The place and the views are just stunning .. seeing the sun set below the sea on a warm night is one of the best views I’ve ever seen
Stopped off on the off chance they could let us park up overnight and ended up thinking it was one of the cleanest sites we have ever stayed on. Being a big girls blouse when it comes to spiders I was absolutely over the moon that there wasn't a single one in the toilets . The showers are 5* so clean and spacious with a nice seat and separation between your shower and drying/dressing area. Would recommend this site to anyone wanting to go up the end of the country. ** FABULOUS **
Stayed here last night on our tour of Scotland. Lovely site, great sea views across to the Orkneys. Excellent, clean facilities.
Spotlessly clean and not over crowded. Nice and relaxed. Beautiful views over to Orkney.
Lush place lush walks lush people who run it help u any way they can
Have been visiting this site for more than ten years. Friendliest campsite owners in the highlands, never any riff raff or noise. Ideal place if you enjoy the peace of Caithness and walking the coast. Pitches are yards from the sea :-)
Great spot!! Wonderful views over the Pentland Firth to Orkney Isles. Very handy for day tours to Orkney on John o Groats Ferries.
Great site if you want a base for exploring Caithness, the area is well maintained and well placed for spotting dolphin, orca, seabirds and seals as you have lovely view from wherever you camp of the sea and beyond to Orkney.....if you are lucky it is also perfect to catch a display of aurora in the darker months
ExcellentExcellently placed, friendly staff, hardly any noise, could do with a box hedge for tent users.
Very nice location however very windy (windbreak walls/hedges for tent areas would be welcomed). Showers and toilet facilities could be updated. Friendly staff
Nette Hütte.hat Heizung...aber kein Wasserkocher..
Habe in Schottland bessere Hütten besucht.
